Just on the outskirts of town was this cute place tucked in the woods. Atmosphere was inviting and there was a great vibe. They also had live music. We sat at a bar table and we were greeted promptly. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Drinks were good and they had quite a few specialty drinks to choose from. I had a Pomegranate Martini (It was ok but I wouldn't get it again) and my husband had a Harvest Margarita. It was yummy and would make a good fall fire-pit drink. We did wait a bit for food but there was a pretty good crowd. Our appetizer was served at the same time as our meal. Wish it would have came out a bit earlier so we could have enjoyed it with our drinks. We inquired about the special sandwich/burger on the menu but our server stated that they didn't have a special this week. We ordered the Tater Kegs, Caprese Chicken Sandwich, and The Sasquatch. Tater Kegs were delicious! My Caprese Chicken sandwich was good. My hubby enjoyed The Sasquatch sandwich. It was huge! He had to eat it with a fork and knife! Food was good, vibe was pleasant, and staff was friendly. They have only been open about 14 weeks per our server so hoping for a few specials and an expanded menu on our next visit. We will definitely be back!

I couldn't help myself when I saw that they were featuring two special wines, and one of them was a Sauvignon Blanc called Sincerite. I had never tasted this particular wine, but it sounded special! And sincere! It was good, but maybe a little too sweet for my palate. Isn't that sometimes the way with those earnest wines? I visited for lunch when I just wanted a little something. So I got the soup of the day -- a bean and beef number in a tomatoey broth. It came with a fennel-seed-studded roll. The soup was amazing and tasted like something a mom or dad or grandma or grandpa would make: just kind of simple and hearty and good. I also got the Hobnob Green Salad, which is mesclun topped with shredded cheese, mushrooms, cubes of turkey and croutons. I'm not a big fan of raw mushroom slices in general, and particularly on a salad, so I picked off the mushrooms like a petulant child and ate the rest of the salad. My soup and salad went really well with my cold glass of Sauv Blanc. Hobnob Corner was very busy when I visited! Nashville is a place that gets lots of visitors, and this restaurant, which is located on the corner of a busy intersection in downtown Nashville, is no exception. But I was able to get a table right away, even though I was a party of one. There is no bar here, by the way. Even though they were busy, the service was quick and friendly. They also have a pastry selection in a display case in the front of the restaurant. You can pop in and grab a cookie or pastry, if you want.

Our whole family came along, and we were excited to try it out. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich, and while it wasn't bad, it didn't really stand out either -- just OK. That seemed to be the theme across the table. Nothing was terrible, but nothing wowed us either. It's a nice spot for a sit-down meal if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Solidly average.

I had anticipated my visit for a little while now but I can imagine I'd be delighted to find this spot on an adventure through the area. The vast plant nursery was also delightfully unexpected. The inside of the Farmhouse is just like a farmhouse, with the most charming interior that feels like Thanksgiving dinner with a collection of all the tables and chairs that you could find in your house to host everyone. First course, delightfully unexpected, was queso and chips! Free of charge, we were served a nice Rotel-style queso dip with multigrain chips. Yum! The tea selection is nice, it's all bagged teas that you get a small pot of. I got a salted caramel tea. Delish! Delightfully unexpected! I got the chicken salad sandwich with kettle chips. I love a chicken salad sandwich and this one hits the spot. We split a slice of peach pie for dessert that was just lovely and warmed up for us. All courses arrived pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend a stop to the Farm House on your trips to Brown County. I hope I can make more road trips in my future plans as soon as I can so I can visit again!

They deliver a bowl of warm spinach & cheese dip with stone ground chips. Very tasty. It took a little longer to be served as today was extremely busy with several large groups. Our table tried the chicken salad sandwich, ham sandwich, chicken, BLT wrap and vegetable quiche. All dishes are served with a side of potato salad, fruit or seasoned chips. The servings are plentiful and flavorful. The chicken salad is seasoned with dill and tarragon, nicely balanced. The chicken BLT was filled with chicken and bacon. The ham sandwich was a bit skimpy on the amount of ham. The quiche was a bit overcooked. All in all it was a delightful girls outing as we also walked around the flower and herb garden. We would return.

It turned out, they had to make my iced tea special, because they weren't allowed to use the tap water because of some boil order that was established in the area. OK! I wish I wanted some baked goods while I was here, because this place has all of the homemade-looking baked goods. Peanut butter cookies in a Tupperware container, bread pudding covered in plastic wrap, apple pie in a metal pie dish. All of the baked goods look like they were made by someone's grandma. We arrived on the main thoroughfare in Nashville on a Monday morning around 10:30 am in October - the high season in this leaf peeping area. We got a great parking spot in the small lot and went right in. The shop is cozy and filled with teas, tea related gifts, and some other fun Brown County & Indiana knickknacks. I tried their cherry almond tea latte with oat milk and my mom had a maple tea. We both loved our selections. Exactly what we needed to warm up before a brisk shopping adventure. There's some family style seating at two round tables up front and a couch and chairs in the back. By the time we left people were starting to file in as the shops all opened up for the day.
