Asked if they had fresh roasted coffee, was told yes they get it weekly. Paid $20 for 12oz bag of coffee that could compare to Folgers from Walmart. Not fresh at all, and yes to the owner or employees reading this. You can tell when you brew fresh roasted coffee. If you want fresh coffee I recommend Script or Contemporoast. Can't tell if it's a coffee shop or a knickknack shop. Figure it out.

The service can be slow if they get busy because there is usually only one person working. The parking lot is TERRIBLE... you can park across the street but crossing the road is annoying and scary. The owner also yelled at my teens for sitting outside on their patio late one night when they got ice cream next door. I get why they feel the need to do that- but it didn't seem necessary more "because I said so". It was not busy and they were an hour from closing their doors. It's a small family community and focusing on treating all the citizens with respect can go a long way. Especially knowing they will communicate this to their parents.

The interior of this location is nice and bright with many tables to hang out and chat, and some have outlets if you're looking for a place to work. Most of the bakery items (not the cakes though) are in self-serve pastry cases so you take a tray, wax paper, and tongs to grab whatever pastries you want before checking out at the counter, where you can order drinks as well.
