Easy to order drinks from the kiosk! Drinks: I got a jasmine tea with the sea salt foam - the foam was tasty, but the tea was very "geep", like it was steeped way too long and had a weird gritty texture in my mouth. my sister got the peach drink with osmanthus jelly - she thought it was a bit watered down enjoyable ambiance, but I personally wouldn't revisit based off of drinks alone. I'd come back to try the bingsu though picture- one of the drinks only offered 0%, 100%, or 125%, so my dad opted out of getting that drink haha
I tried the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea and it just didn't taste good, similar to other places that have a powdery, artificial flavor. Maybe the bingsu is better but the milk tea isn't great.
The best spot in Elk Grove for bingsu! First time trying the thai tea version and the boba that came on the side was a little stale. Otherwise everything else was really good. Flavor and texture was A++. The place was packed on a Friday night and we had to be quick to get a table. It gets pretty noisy! Also please be patient if you order bingsu! It seems like it takes a while to make and they seemed understaffed. Don't forget to tip!
Small cafe serving drinks and bingsu. You order at the kiosk and wait for your name or number to be called. We ordered halo halo bingsu and 3 drinks - ube taro deluxe, guava goddess and butterfly white peach lemon sparkling. Halo halo bingsu was just okay. Shaved ice is light and milky and lychee jelly was good but the canned jack fruit wasn't a good match. The ube cream did not even have the slightest hint of ube flavor. Could do without the marshmallow fluff topping. Similar experience with the ube taro deluxe. No hint of ube but the taro was very good. Guava goddess and butterfly peach was super yummy and tasted like fancy mocktails. Highly recommend these.
Bru Tea's bingsu is so good! I've tried almost all of their bingsoo flavors with my cousins, and they're a great size for sharing. Bingsoo flavor ratings: * 7/10 Strawberry Matcha * 7/10 Thai Tea * 9/10 Mango Coconut The service is always great, and it's a fun spot to share dessert with friends and family!
This review is for the Jasmine matcha hot with foam and 100% sweetness. The tea is bitter. The matcha is not dissolved- see picture. Did not see option for changing milk. There are lots of topping options. Store looked clean with plenty of seating as I was the only customer on a weekday afternoon. Parking lot available. I ordered by the tablet even though they have a register I was not greeted by the employee. Payment was easy via credit card. The wait was not long. Hope to have better experience coming back for bingsoo.
Bru Tea has been on my to try list for a while and I was worth it! We walked in and ordered at the kiosk. They had different teas, bingsoo, and grilled cheese. Ordering was easy and we got the Halo Halo Bingsoo. There was a little wait while it was being made. Once it came out we instantly loved how the bowl was overflowing. The snow was soft and silky, and all the toppings paired so perfectly. And then the hidden flan in the middle made it over the top. It was the ideal dessert on a hot day.

The Lineup: * Mango Coconut Bingsoo: House-milk snow topped with fresh mango, mochi, coconut, sliced almonds, and vanilla ice cream. So light and refreshing! * Chocolate Brownie Bingsoo: A chocolate lover's dream. Loaded with Oreo crumbles, sliced almonds, brownies, chocolate sauce and ice cream. * Creme Brulee Milk Tea: The caramelized foam and brown sugar boba are the perfect pair. The space is cozy and pristine--perfect for a quick catch-up. Plus, the staff is super accommodating! You order at the kiosk, and they even have a bell for assistance. Would definitely come back!
A really nice and cute boba shop. They offer caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks. They also offered snacks and desserts. You order at the kiosk and they will call your name when it is ready. I have tried few different drinks so far. Each drink, I had the sweetness level adjusted. I am so glad their drinks are not overly sweet. Some other boba places, their drinks are still too sweet even though you have the sweetness level adjusted lower. I tried the coconut coffee, lime orange tea, Hong Kong milk tea and banana cinnamon einspanner. All really good. The drink that stood out the most was the lime orange tea. It was really refreshing. This will be a good choice during summer. Service was nice and friendly. Looking forward to try their other drinks next time.

Never disappointed with order, service or vibe. Their shave iced desserts are just amazing. Just enough sweetness, gorgeous to look at, and the lack of guilt having such a delicious and tasty dessert because it's shaved ice, right? It's just within walking distance, so another guilt-free reason to support this local business. Yes, encourage you to run, not walk to taste and experience what I can't fully describe.
Life is short... Eat more bingsoo ! This is my favorite place for bingsoo in Elk Grove! I will make the drive every time for a sweet treat. There's some seating inside and outside. The drinks I've tried have all been yummy as well. Staff are always kind and attentive. Casual after dinner hangouts or even midday catchups are great for this spot ! I will be returning over and over and bringing all my friends here. Thank you Bru Tea !
Stopped in Fri night for something sweet. Ordered the mango coconut bingsoo. You order from the kiosk. The bingsoos here are huge! You can definitely share them. Loved the mango & wish there was more little mochis. Staff were friendly. It wasn't busy when I arrived but shortly after the place filled up.

It was my first time trying bingsoo. I originally expected the flavor to be in the shaved ice but when I tasted it alone, it tasted like of you were to scrape the ice off the back of the freezer and I was really worried. Then I poured the cream on top and understood how it's meant to be eaten. All the flavor is in the cream. The strawberries are really fresh. I also didn't think I would like the corn flakes that came with it but it added a nice crunch. A nice small cafe with just enough seats. The service was great too. I'd go back and try more flavors for sure. read more
Friendly staff - ordered their strawberry lime sparking and flan. So far so good. It was absolutely delicious! I added the lychee jelly in my drink. I really enjoyed it. It's a cute shop. I had the matcha slushi and I was saddened that my slushie was more liquid than icy. The matcha was strong but I wish it had a better consistency. 7/10. I will come back to try the bingsoo since there isn't many places in Elk Grove that make it. read more

i love bru tea! i'm a repeat customer simply because they're one of the few spots in sac that offer bingsu. their strawberry cheesecake bingsu is one of my favorites, light, fluffy, and honestly pretty sweet, but i have a huge sweet tooth so that's not a problem for me. the strawberries are fresh, the whipped cream light in texture and flavor, and the cheesecake is okay at best for me, i usually skip over it and give it to whomever i'm sharing the bingsu with. the bingsu has a huge mound of shaved ice on top but once you start getting to the base of the bowl there's strawberry syrup and condensed milk spread throughout, offering sweeter bites compared to the initial mound of bingsu you have to get through. if the bingsu isn't sweet enough for you, they give you a container of condensed milk on the side for you to pour and adjust the sweetness to your liking. the strawberry bingsu also comes with frosted flakes for extra sugar and crunch. the workers here seem to get along fairly well and are helpful if you ever have any questions, but it seems the default ordering process is through the kiosk. there is a bell for you to ring if you ever need to ask a worker a question. read more

I tried the mango coconut bingsu and it was more than delicious. I wish I had more so I will defenitely return. There are many flavors that look really good. The store is a little hidden but it is was clean. Service was good. The young lady was patient and helpful. read more

There is an option to self service order through the kiosk at the front or by a staff member. The seasonal decorations for Halloween were cute. This place is very generous with their toppings in the bingsoo. The strawberry matcha bingsoo had enough strawberry for every scoop you eat. Yummy :D read more
Cute shop but pretty small, so parking and seating can be a struggle during peak hours. Ordering is through a kiosk, which is convenient, but I wish they had two kiosks and menu descriptions on there and not just relying on their TV menu to make ordering easier. Wait times can be a bit long. Honestly my favorite bingsu spot in Sacramento! It's pricey but worth it. I've tried the Mango and Strawberry Cheesecake flavors and both are amazing. Definitely want to try Tiramisu next! If you eat in, there's a station in the back for dirty dishes, napkins, and water. Their drinks are really sweet overall, so I recommend lowering the sweetness if that's not your thing. My Creme Brulee MT at 50% was still super sweet. They also forgot boba in my order, but the worker was really nice and remade it for free! read more

Nice boba shop in Elk Grove! Cute backsplash for aesthetic photos but seating was pretty limited. The place's location via the Yelp app was a little wonky, but found it fine on Google maps. The Yelp directions brought us to the opposite side of the plaza, so just a warning for anyone lost getting there. There are milk teas, snacks, and desserts here. Tea was a little on the sweet side for me at the regular sweetness level, but you can adjust it which was nice! I love matcha and they had a lavender matcha tea which was very fragrant but I wish they had just a plain matcha option too. Looking forward to coming back to try their bingsoo because they looked so good. read more

Staff was very accommodating, they allow any changes if sweetness level isn't what was expected. They have a kiosk to order if you're a little shy, but they mostly accept card not cash. The seating options are many, both inside and outside. It's decorated cleanly with this green plant aesthetic. The bingsu came out really nice, a little on the sweeter end. They also have a lot of topping options available for the bingsu. I will warn you that the bowls are a little bigger than I expected, more sharing portions. They also provide you take out boxes for the bingsu if you can't finish it. Staff was amazing! read more

I learned about Bru Tea and their bingsu menu from Instagram, and I couldn't wait to stop by and order one to share with a friend. This was my first time trying bingsu, and the Halo Halo one that we ordered was incredible! We ordered at a kiosk and took a seat. Seating is limited, but my friend and I were able to snag the last table. Our bingsu was quickly assembled and beautifully presented! We had condensed milk, jackfruit, and lychee jelly that we could incorporate to our liking. Portion was perfect for two, so recommend ordering just one for a pair. The bingsu's texture was snow-like and fluffy, and this dessert is arguably, one of the best shaved ices I've ever had! I loved the Filipino flare and am interested in trying more of their menu. read more
First time trying mango coconut bingsoo. Ordered through kiosk. Lots of topping options. Don't do what I did. I accidentally unselected the sliced almonds and coconut toppings. Thankfully, the staff were great and gave me the toppings in metal sauce container. The shaved ice is creamy, light, and fluffy. Not too sweet. Ripe mango pieces. You should try this if you've never had it before. Pricey, but great treat on warm day. Place fills up quickly, but don't let that discourage you. read more
The Strawberry matcha bingsoo was yummy. It was a fluffy texture, with the right amount of sweetness for an Asian dessert. I really enjoyed the cheese foam combined with the other flavors on this dish. I will be returning when I'm in the area! I feel that the ambiance wasn't what I expected, as there wasn't music playing and the employees were mostly in the back unless customers came in. I am used to these types of places being a social hangout, third space type of environment, so 4/5 in comparison to other spots similar to this. Otherwise, great taste and no complaints! read more

A cute boba/bingsoo cafe that you can come to meet up/hang! The area is tiny and does not fit a lot of people, so if you plan on going with a big group, just know that it will be cramped, but it has an aesthetic to it. It has both Kiosk check-in to order and cashier options. Also, if you're someone looking for or who drinks non-caffeinated drinks, this cafe has a nice selection of non-caffeinated drinks! My friend and I got the Mango Coconut Bingsoo, Guava Goddess drink, and Taro Lover drink. The Mango Coconut Bingsoo was good! The milk ice cream itself, is very smooth and melts in your mouth right away. However, this bingsoo has very minimal coconut taste, and the whipped cream with the vanilla ice cream, makes this extra sweet. Guava Goddess at 25% sweet was perfect. The Taro Lover at 50% was a bit too sweet. Overall, we would come back again! read more
If you know bingsoo, it's good. Not spectacular comparatively but it's solid and hits the spot in the summer. Fruit was fresh. It's busy and takes a while to get your order. The fresh peach on top of the strawberry is definitely a special one that you don't get at your standard bingsoo places. The pour over sauces are a little watered down. read more

My crème brûlée milk tea was perfection! I did get it 50% sweet and it was exactly what I was hoping for. My foam on top was creamy and slightly savory. The boba was soft and the perfect chew. There is a kiosk at the front to order which is nice so that you can customize your drink exactly how you'd like . Inside is pretty small but enough to sit 10 people. Would come back read more
Our newest FAVORITE spot for my favorite desser...Bingsu! I make a point to find the best bingsu everywhere I go...and this spot IS IT! You wouldn't think bingsu can be dry & the last few places I've gone to is exactly that. This spot has creamy, refreshing bingsu with over the top toppings...WOW! Worth seeking this place our for sure. Five stars bc it was delicious, clean & cool vibe, you order through a kiosk but the service is still friendly when they bring out your goodies. read more

Managed to stop by while in town and loved the Halo Halo Bingsu! It came with lots of toppings, and the portion size was huge. I have been constantly craving it since trying it. I did take too long to eat, though, so it was pretty melted. My partner enjoyed the cheesecake on his bingsu, especially with all the strawberries. There is not a lot of seating, and it is pricey compared to other places I have been to, but they have slightly larger portions. I would love to return, especially since it will be blazing hot outside soon. read more
Stopped by this place for dessert while in town. They are located in a small shopping complex and looks like they get a constant flow of people. We tried the halo halo bingsu which came with coconut jelly, jackfruit, extra milk, and flan in the middle of the eyes. It was very good and definitely big enough portion to share. Decided to give this place a try because it looked delicious and it was! We ordered the strawberry matcha bingsoo and it was perfect size for two people. I was craving a boba drink so made my way over to Bru Tea after leaving the nearby nail salon. It was so hard to decide on a drink as they all sounded and looked delicious! The helpful girl behind the counter recommended one of their popular strawberry drinks, the Strawberry Milk Slush. Thank goodness I ordered it with 50% sweetness because it was a little sweet for me but overall I really enjoyed the tartness of the strawberry and the creaminess of the sweet milk. Of course I had to add boba as well. The decor was really nice inside, plenty of seating and decorated so cute. This might become a new habit with my nail salon close by! read more
We came in specifically to try the halo- halo bingsu and it didn't disappoint. The ice was so smooth and fluffy and the overall flavors did remind you of a Filipino halo halo. Restaurant was small but clean and the aesthetic certainly encourage to take pictures. Staff was very accommodating. definitely a place to visit! read more
Bru Tea Cafe deserves some love. I usually rotate in between 3-4 boba drink places by location and convenient. After my visit to Bru Tea, I need to include them in my rotation, even though they are a bit out of the way. I recommend ordering ahead online to save time at least 15 min in advance. It was a lot of people when I went on a Sunday afternoon. My drink was ready when I got there. I was in and out. Lychee Dragonfruit Tea Lychee green tea with lychee bits and dragon fruit. I got 50% sweetness and no ice. it was perfect for me. I love these 3 things (green tea, lychee, and dragonfruit) separately, and I was surprised how well they went together as a drink. It's very refreshing. Mango Ice Cloud Blended mango ice with a swirl of cheese foam. This drink is DANGEROUS! It's a dessert in a cup. One sip will leave you wanting more. If you like mango creamsicle, this is your kind of drink. I can't wait to go back. I read Gillian A's review, and now I have to try her recommendation - Rated B. It sounds like something that I will like for sure. I'm looking at their menu on the website, and they have many unique drinks that I have never seen, like Guava Goddess, housemade guave puree, fresh mint, and lime in sparking mineral water. We stopped by here on weekdays, so it wasn't too busy. This dessert shop serves yummy bingsoo and milk tea. I like their peach bingsoo; the shaved ice is very smooth and flavorful. It wasn't overly sweet. I like their milk tea, you can adjust the sweetness and ice level. We love the place here. We hope they have bigger space; their seats are quite limited. read more

I went to pay for my nails and realized I don't have my wallet. Apparently I left it salt Bru Tea Cafe. Thankfully the staff kept it safe for me. Will definitely be back here! read more

This spot is great for a quick stop by with friends! The matcha was good and the strawberry jam was sweet so this combination was great together with the toppings on the side. The drink I had was a passion fruit lychee drink was delicious but the lychee bits in the drink didn't taste good for me. Overall, this boba shop is good! read more

Came back to try the bingsoo this time! I got the Matcha strawberry bingsoo which seems to be a rotational item and it was so good! I saw someone posted on here they had a peach mango and wanted to try that but they didn't offer it anymore by the time I got around to going back. Highly recommend! I will be returning! Please open up another location! We'd love to have this in Stockton! read more

Is it Bruh or Brú Tea Cafe? Lol I had a craving for some type of Shaved ice dessert & decided to try this local spot in Elk Grove off Elk Grove Florin/Bond. It's located in the corner of the Jack in the Box fast food location. Parking can be busy but accessible. The menu set up was ez to order with a big screen to order & pay, love the ease/convenience of the process. We tried the Halo Halo shaved ice....Delicious Coconut Coffee, flavored just right not too sweet If you want something different with Shaved Ice or coffee twist, give them a try! read more
