You name an excuse they have it: Parts showed up damaged, need to get new parts, Can't find the right parts, Ford service manual doesn't show how to repair that part, we might have to total the car if we damage this part during repair, etc... NOT GOOD AT ESTIMATING: All of this AND original estimate $8K, Revised estimate after they had the truck for 2 months $21K. THEY DON'T ACTUALLY WORK ON THE VEHICLE: At this point ZERO work has been completed except disassembly. Congratulations Precision, you know how to take stuff apart, now lets see if you can put it back together? PHONE CALLS: As a bonus, when you call - AI answers and makes you answer a bunch of stupid questions only to promise someone will call you back. If they do forward you to a person, it goes to voicemail, but the voicemail is full and you can't leave a message. EMAILS: Emails go without ANY reply. VISITING MY TRUCK IN PRECISION JAIL: I finally had to drive over and walk into the shop. The excuse (at 3.5 months of waiting) was that they were waiting for a couple more things to figure out before they order the parts for the repair. Extra bonus, they charge a HIGHER Rate than insurance will reimburse, because they are so awesome. That means you pay extra out of pocket ABOVE your deductible. Double Extra Bonus: They keep changing the bid amount, even though they got paid by the insurance company in January! - 3 MONTHS AGO! Triple Extra Bonus: When you drop off you get a free 19 page list of excuses and reasons why shit may go wrong, but no matter what it won't be their fault. They make you sign every page Quadruple Extra Bonus: That document was written by a monkey. And I fricking hate monkeys. The number of errors and outdated information in their contract is ridiculous. Who cares if they do a good job on repairs if they never actually do the repairs. At this point I am stuck because their crack crew of truck wreckers has disassembled my truck and they want to charge me $8K just to put it back together so I can get it the *Expletive* out of their shop. Please don't use them. Tell others not to use them. If you make the decision to go ahead and use them, please contact me, so that we can get together and commiserate when you realize you screwed up and that your vehicle is stuck in Precision Hell for months without any hope of getting it back in time. Good news - The AI phone agent told me that after waiting over 4 months that she can understand why I am frustrated, but that the truck is scheduled for completion on June 5. Unfortunately, I don't know if that is June 5, 2026 or 2027??? By the way, I've got just over $100K into the truck and it has been out of commission for 4 months- what is that worth??? They did have our car in their shop for an extended time, reportedly due to trim part unavailability (well over 30 days). Bit hard to believe, but possible. Once picked up and back in the garage, we noted that the Entire car had considerable paint contamination due to overspray. Luckly, I have the tools and ability to remove the overspray, which required about 5 hours of paint correction, polishing, and resealing the paint. A pro detailer would have charged over $300 for this same work. So, in conclusion; good repair work, less than good attention to detail, regarding the condition of the car as it was returned.

I was told he has extensive experience with the electrical systems of older cars. As I was restoring a 1959 Mercedes 190SL, this morning on July 11th, I naturally visited this place. The job I had was relatively small and manageable. It was only to remove the fuse box and two additional connections, each with only four wires connected to them, from my old wiring harness and replace it with a new, identical harness, one with the same color-coded wiring. I drove over 25 miles and arrived at this shop 10 minutes past 9 in the morning, where I was greeted by one of the workers. He said the owner isn't there yet and will come in about 30 minutes, and I replied, ' Okay, I will be back around 10 O'clock. Meanwhile, a truck arrived, and I was informed that it belonged to the owner. Rob came, and I, with a smile on my face, said good morning to him. His answer was, "Why are you here?" We open at 10 AM. I said, 'If you want, I can come back at 10?' He asked why I was there. I explained and acknowledged that this should be a tiny and easy job for him. At the same time, I told him that, as a restaurateur and chef, one of my former customers who has a dealership in Hillsboro had recommended him. He spoke in a coarse voice and angrily looked at me, saying, 'No, it's not a small and easy job. You grab a few ingredients and put them on top of each other, and then you call yourself a chef.' It is a tremendous job. And at the same time, he said we are not working on any car older than the 1980s. I told him that, less than a month ago, someone on your Google Business page reviewed that you worked on his 1970 Chevelle Malibu. This time, he said to write down what car I have so he will find me another mechanic. I told him what my car was, and this time he came to the door and asked me to leave, repeating that he would find another person for me and contact me. I wondered and asked how he would do it without knowing who I am or my phone number. Anyway, I left and the only impression I got from this place and Rob is that the color of your skin, your hair, and your accent play an essential role in whether he accepts you as a new customer and does business with you or not. If Rob had been honest and refused to do my job because it was small or he was swamped, rather than the way he acted, I would have thanked him and left without giving him any bad reviews. However, he decided otherwise. If I knew that, I would never go to this rundown mechanic shop.
