I absolutely love Bruce's Nail Lounge. Bruce is always able to get me an appointment and truly makes the time for his clients. He is incredibly personable and so generous with all of his customers. The nail work is consistently amazing, they've been able to do everything I've asked for, whether I'm describing what I want or showing a Pinterest photo. They also last three to four weeks for me. Came for out if state wedding -they were recommended to me by my sister that uses them /uber was 5 minutes late they turned me away and I had to call an Uber to take me home / when my sister walked in she heard the owner telling all the customers when your late we tell you to get lost ! I have been following bruce (the owner) around for about 6 years and I WILL not go to anyone else. He is just the sweetest man and you can tell he loves what he does. You won't be able to leave the salon unless your nails are PERFECT. That's something I absolutely love about him. He never EVER fails me. I saw a review talking about how disrespectful and racist bruce is and I would love to clear the air as a LATINA woman. Bruce is the most kindhearted man I know. Since relocated to this area from Illinois I have changed nail salons five times for a variety of reasons, mostly due to poor service and long wait times for scheduled appts. I started going to Bruce a little over a year ago and have 3 daughters that go there as well. It feels like home when I walk in the door. Always greeted with a smile, very clean and on time for scheduled appts always. My nails are done professionally in any way I want and typically can wait 3 weeks before fills as compared to every other salon being 2 weeks. Any time I have issues in between appts I can just pop in unannounced and Bruce gets it fixed usually within 15 minutes and refuses compensation. I will never go anywhere else again. My daughters and I love Bruce. read more

I went here (Lounge not Loungs) as my usual go-to person/salon wasn't available for me when I needed a regular mani. They were 15 minutes late beyond my appt. time getting to me with no apology. It was my first time there and I received no introductions so I would know their names. I thought the color I picked was black-it certainly was dark enough-turns out it was a very dark green. I feel like that should've been double checked by them prior to applying it. I felt rushed after 2 higher priced walk-ins arrived. There are only 2 workers employed there as was told to me by the nail tech. I was not impressed overall so I will not be returning. read more

Mani pedis on a Saturday afternoon never felt so good! Que & Helen did a good job on our nails, but my friend & I were both amazed as how cleaned up our toes were before the polish was applied. Hands down best pedicure either of us had ever gotten. You just gotta go! read more

Personally I got lucky Bruce's Nail Lounge is right around the corner from where I live. I get the gel manicure and pedicure every time I go. I can't remember her name, but I think there's only Bruce and one other girl there. She's does my nails to perfection! I'm sure Bruce is great too since he is always booked. I was actually in Texas visiting a friend and got my nails done at a different salon. The gel only lasted two days. And anytime I get my nails done at Bruce's nail lounge, they always last about three weeks! I couldn't imagine getting my nails done anywhere else again. They are beautiful and they last. read more

I recently moved to Londonderry and this nail salon is a mile from my house. Today I called and made an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure. I showed up on time and after washing my hands and choosing my colors I was immediately brought to the pedicure chair. No waiting which was unexpected but appreciated! Helen did an amazing job. I haven't had a pedicure that thorough in a very long time. She is highly skilled and was very gentle. She and the owner were also extremely kind to me! read more

I have been going back and forth about writing a review my morals and conscience re telling me its the right thing to do, last week i needed my nails done i couldn't get in w my reg tech at a reputable salon so i had to resort to the alternative, and go to this sub par establishment. Fast forward to my service it was the usual run of the mill "nail salon" as im sitting there the owner and his client decided it would be a great idea to start talking about their take on the immigration situation going on ( mind you this man is Vietnamese, just found it ironic) long story short i was listening as bruce.. (the owner) and his client were saying how "these" people don't deserve help, how the need to be sent back, to bad for the children.. and the client agreed and they kept their aggressive,disgusting racist remarks up till the last 5 min of my service ended , i was.biting my tongue bc they were that aggressive and it would have more than likely escalated . I'm so disgusted and distraught at w the unprofessionalism he displayed, word of advice.. keep politics and your personal views for dinners w family and not your place of business. read more

I've been to so many salons over the years - - - that all stopped when I found Bruce five years ago. Since then, I've followed him around. I'm so thrilled that he now owns his own salon. He is an absolute perfectionist and holds the bar very high. It shows in his work, his employees and in his salon. It is always super clean and he is always adding more shelves of new shades. I just love going there - super relaxing, super easy and super rewarding. Bruce is absolutely the best. I wish I could give ZERO stars. HORRIBLE experience. I went in with them saying my nails would be $32 for a full set. I went in and asked if they charged extra for long nails, the nail technician told me yes and that it would be $5 extra. I agreed to this price, and she proceeded to glue the tips on. I told her how long (and showed her even before she started how long I would want them) and she then turned to the owner and showed him how much I cut off. He then told me the price would be FIFTY DOLLARS, instead of the $37 we agreed on. The tips were already on, and I said I am NOT paying $50 for these. I pay $23 at a much better salon in Londonderry anyways. So she cut the nails down to a length SHE thought would be appropriate and basically forced the shortest length that she could upon me. I was FURIOUS. A customer then walked in to fix a nail that she chipped, and the owner started saying he much rather prefer his regulars than new customers (because id never been there before). They also charged me $5 extra for "taking my other nails off" when I had taken them off myself and there was only bits and pieces of acrylic left on from before. I would recommend you NEVER come here, and they also left the under neath of my nails looking terrible. Never again!!!!!!! read more
