This place used to be great. Now that Armando is no longer here this place is falling apart. I used to get speedy well done service. I would always come here for flat repairs. I stopped coming here because of the lack of professionalism. I took my w202 Mercedes and they stripped my lug nut and lug nut threads. And they tried to hide it by putting anti seize on the threads. If you been around cars you no anti seize is a big no no on lug nut thread it even says in on the bottle I then had to buy a new wheel hub to fix my stripped lug nut Threads. Thanks read more

These guys did a great job , quick but efficient . I had a bit of a problem with my payment and they were patient with me while keeping worked it all out . I called ahead to see if they do front end alignments. They asked for the year, make and model, which I told them. They said they could do it. I dropped the car off and said I would be next door at the diner. After the hour they said they would need, I returned. They didn't do anything because my car has lane keeping and they didn't have the equipment to recalibrate the camera. I wasted an hour. They could've walked next door and told me. read more

Since my last review that I bought 14 tires from this shop over a period of 2 months, where I discovered that none of the tires had the correct tire pressure, I went in for a tire rotation for my Mercedes E class. I observed what Mr. A was doing and was baffled that he rotated my rear wheel drive car as though it is a front wheel drive car. Per Michelin for vehicles that are rear wheel drive, the proper rotation pattern should be: Rear tires are moved to the forward axle and kept on the same side of the vehicle while the front tires are moved to opposite sides of the rear axle (left front goes to the right rear, and right front goes to the left rear). What Mr. A did was: Rotated my tires in a forward cross pattern. He swapped the left front with the left rear and the right front with the right rear. I just want quality (the right kind of) service for my money. I happen to know something about cars. I find that this shop has repeatedly demonstrate that they really do not know what they are doing. If the manager (Mr. A) cannot demonstrate his competence, I have zero trust on his staff. I paid for 2 more tire rotations, which I will be happy to forego. I can never return or recommend this shop for any type of reliable service. read more

Highly recommend San Martin Tire. I had a leaking tire on my RV trailer. Armando got it off, patched it, tested for leaks, and got it back on in just 40 minutes on a busy Saturday. They have 2 drive thru bays with a 12'11" height clearance and a big parking lot. This is great because you can pull in, leave everything attached, and they've got it from there. I called a few other places before I found San Martin Tire. I kept hearing they didn't have the space for a RV trailer and I'd need to get the wheel off and bring it in alone. I don't have a jack, air tools, or a good space to do this, so I've been dreading getting this fixed for a while. San Martin Tire made it so easy. Last thing -- the owner Brandon was there. Yesterday, returning from Eagle Ridge we were on Monterey Rd. While driving we got a plastic container caught under the car. We didn't want to drive all the way home to Morgan Hill so we stopped at this Tire Shop. They, right away, lifted our car and pulled the container out. Very courteous service. Fast. After a round of golf at Crazy Horse in Salinas, stopped to pick up my car at my friend's in San Martin to find my tire flat. Put enough air to get me to San Martin Tire only to learn I had 3 tires with nails. It was like pit row. 3 floor jacks came out, tires were pulled and repaired in less than 20 minutes. Last week I had the tragedy of my tire going completely flat. I called San Martin tire and the owner said to just bring my car on in. I came in the late afternoon and they were servicing three other costumers. The owner was quick to get to me. He was going to see if he could patch my tire but unfortunately it was beyond repair. He gave the price for a used or a new tire. They were both very fair prices. I decided to go with a new tire they got my car jacked and the tire replaced all within 30 minutes. They were very professional and transparent. I was very happy with my experience especially because I have minimal knowledge about tires. Give them a call if a tire need arises. read more

Armando is one of the most rude people I have ever encountered in any business. I have been coming here for years and Armando's mood is always a hit or miss. He is extremely abrasive and rude, does not answer your questions directly, he answers sarcastically. If I don't curse when I'm talking to an employee, I don't expect the employee to curse while talking to me. I have a few golf carts, a fleet of trucks, and personal cars that all need tires but I will be going elsewhere instead and I will not be recommending this place to anyone as long as Armando is an employee there. In fact, I will recommend that people avoid this business because of Armando. I rather pay more or wait more or drive further than deal with this rude individual again.
