I love this Bruegger's! I've only been there a handful of times, and my order is admittedly very simple, but they've always done an amazing job nonetheless! Their bagels are always fresh, toasted to perfection, and simply delicious! They also have a wide assortment of bagels to choose from, to include your basic options like plain and everything, while also having some sweeter and spicier options like cinnamon raisin and jalapeño cheddar. In addition, the staff is always very friendly, and I appreciate the fact that they're able to get you in and out of the store pretty quickly. My one (1) small knock on Bruegger's is that I don't think that their coffee is very good, and I wish that it were a little bit stronger. After a long festive night due to the UGA win over Tenn ... The wife wanted to get breakfast. Of all places she wanted Brueggers Bagels... Both of our first time ... heads up parking is tedious lol and the line is intimidating but I say it's worth it. Today did the build you own with the 5 cheese bagel ... with avocado, lettuce , red onions, and tomatoes. They had a decent amount of choices for non pork/beef eaters such as my self ... check them out if you are in to bagels . I finally tried Brueggers Bagels in Columbia SC. So first off they need to do some cleaning and up keep of the facility. Customer service was good and timely. I ordered a raison bagel, turkey, pastrami with lettuce, tom, onions, and swiss cheese. I had to ask for my bagel to be toasted. The bagel looked hard and not fresh at all. Total coast was approx $14 for 2 bagels, they do honor military discount. Just like I expected my bagel was hard and chewy. Im positive we will not being coming back to this location. It looks good but it def wasnt. Not sure what else to say about it, but very disappointed for first experience at this location. read more

This was my first time going. I've lived in Columbia for three years now. It's a little bit out of the way but I was in the area, so I thought I would give it a shot. First off that parking lot is so small and close. It was pretty full at 11:15. The service was good and fairly quick. It seemed very clean. My sandwich was delicious. Excellent customer service, super clean dining area, and wonderful food!! I ordered the herby turkey (which I've had many times and is always delicious) but they accidentally gave me the wrong sandwich - I'm not sure what I ate but it was absolutely scrumptious. Worst experience ever. My wife and I used to frequent here often doing DoorDash pickups. We always get the same order. Today, we ordered the same thing we've gotten for months now: a garden veggie, an egg white with no tomato spread and a turkey sausage egg and cheese. 2 of the 3 sandwiches were made incorrectly. The egg white has tons of tomato spread. The garden veggie has uncooked bacon on it smh. That was the worst one because I bit into this and our religion forbids eating pork. I was sick most of the morning. Had to throw both away. When the restaurant was called, she was told that she ordered a tub of cream cheese so they decided to make the avocado bacon instead of a veggie sandwich because I'd not, she'd have no sandwich. Decided to just come in to get some bagels after church. Big mistake. Waited ten minutes and they served one customer. I have never been to this one core. Guy in line ahead of me says they do a lot of mobile orders so folks in line get served second. Over fifteen people in-line and it wasn't moving. So I left! Can't tell you how good was. The ceiling has terrible watermark condensation, the vents are filthy, and I hope water doesn't drip on you as it did on me. This has an A rating for excellence! Bruegger's Bagels has quickly become my favorite place to grab breakfast catering or a quick lunch. I have to order breakfast catering pretty often when we have visitors in my office and Bruegger's Bagels is easy to get to, always ready on time, and their online ordering option makes the whole process a breeze. Not to mention, it is pretty tasty! My go-to is the bagel and muffin box which includes 6 bagels of your choice and 6 large muffins + 1 tub of cream cheese. It's perfect for a group up to 12 and they include plates, napkins, knives to serve. The presentation is really nice as well and the box is easy to carry with handles. They have many more options for breakfast (and lunch) catering including a box of hot coffee, orange juice, sandwiches, yogurt, etc. For lunch, I often find myself craving their Leonardo di Veggie sandwich which is really amazing. It is a great size and reasonable price -- I've been able to make 2 lunches out of it several times. read more

OMG!! This is just the best. My mouth starts watering every time I think about this place. Heavenly bagels, fresh toppings, healthy and unhealthy options, yummy coffee and fast service. What isn't to love. The location can be hard to find parking at but just navigate the parking lot carefully. I wish they offered smaller menus while you are in line as having to look up on the board can be frustrating as the font is not that big. They make a delicious pumpkin spice coffee blend that is great for the fall season. I had the pastrami bagel on thin bagels and it was just melt in your mouth amazing. We actually stopped by here to take a friend in the hospital some get well bagels. Such a way to cheer up a friend. I highly recommend everything they make here as it's all just lovely. read more

I've come here a time or two in the mornings on my way to work. The bagels and the coffee is always so good. I normally order the pastrami, egg and cheese on a bagel. I can pick whatever bagel I want. It is always so good. Some morning I will get coffee. The staff is always so nice and kind and attentive. 1st they were out of just about all bagel options at lunch time on Sunday. I got the salmon bagel. It was okay but mid. I love salmon bagels but I would not purchase this again. I for 6 bagels to go, 2 cream cheese tubs, and 1 farmhouse bagel to go for my fiancé. I ate there but got up to leave because the lady was sweeping at my table where I was sitting. I got the farmhouse bagel sandwich on the garlic bagel (because they were out of the one it comes on). My fiancé ate it and felt immediately sick. Next day I decided to have a bagel for a snack when I got home from work. i pulled out the mixed 1/2 dozen variety that I had transferred to a sealed back because they came in a thin paper bag. Pull out one that was wrapped Sep than the rest, placed in toaster, put herb and garlic cream cheese on it and began eating half. I am So nauseated. Fighting to not get sick. It ended up being the same type of bagel my fiancé had, the garlic bagel. I have a bagel with breakfast 6 days a week and where I live there aren't bag shop near. Having the time on an early Saturday morning, made a 30min drive just to have a bagel sandwich and it was worth it. I had the sriracha honey sunrise sandwich with an extra egg and avocdo. This shop has the sandwiches made to order so when I received mine it was piping hot and delicious. What really set it off was that sriracha honey cream cheese. I always buy a tub or 2 as well when I come through. I would've given this place 5 stars if not for the lack of coffee choices being im also a coffee lover and this is a bagel shop. I have patronized this Bruegger's Bagels location on four separate Sunday mornings. The last three times the workers behind the counter have been impatient, surely and rude. I had to wait in line and had the opportunity to observe them being impatient, surely and rude to the customers ahead of me as well. I am somewhat taken aback that the other patrons tolerated the impatience, surliness and rudeness from the staff. I am tolerant and understanding that not everyone is having a great morning but three times in a row is not a one off experience.
