The bagel had Asiago seasoning particles in it, and was very doughy and not baked thoroughly. Unfortunately this was even after ordering it toasted which should have helped. They also really skimped on the cream cheese. I would really recommend the Annapolis Lane location over this one, but unfortunately they're closed due to parking lot construction. read more

This is an amendment to my previous review. I changed my 1 star to 5 star due to excellent customer service and business practice. Even though I had a complaint, they listened, appreciated my review and credited my account for the purchase in question. This was the first time I had a Bruegers complaint so I'm glad it was resolved. Thank you! Picked up breakfast today. It was clearly not made with care. Worked from this location for a few hours on a Thursday morning. While the tables were a bit dirty, the staff was polite and pleasant. I ordered a Berry White Mocha and a Sausage Egg and Cheese on an Asiago Parmesan bagel. The food and drink were exactly what I anticipated. We stopped in to grab a coffee on Saturday morning. It was insanely busy with about a 20 minute wait for food..but only a five min wait for coffee. This is going to be a rough review. My profile will show that isn't the norm. I've been here countless times and at one point we had a couple Bruegers Bagels in the city. Now there is one .... and post pandemic it has been so painful. Consistent staff shortages, constant mess ups and mix ups with orders and when you are drive a through only establishment (which they have a great dining area and patio, it's just not been open a lot) you have to kill it in the drive through or people won't come back. The service was ok however the staff like to scratch their heads which grosses me out. The smoke salmon and Vermont-bagel sandwiches were good. Ordered two coffees. The latte was made with a flavor I did not like or order. I ordered thru the drive up and once I tasted it I didn't want to drive back to fix it. I stop through here occasionally, no complaints. Not sure what all the long line comments are about. I usually hit the drive thru and don't think it's any better or worse than other coffee shops. Greedy corporate didn't plan out this design properly. The kitchen size and staffing can't keep up with drive through orders as well as in-store patrons. They just figured drive thru = more money for us and if the customer has to wait they will wait. 15-25 min wait for a bagel on the weekend mornings which is when people go buy breakfast. read more

This used to have Caribou up until very recently, I went through the drive thru and asked for my usual, and the girl working was very rude and kept telling me to "look at the menu" when I asked about the recent changes. Was staying at the hotel nearby and walked here on a Friday afternoon. Bruegger's is well-known in my hometown - it had been a long time since I had it and used to love their bagels so I had to drop in. I ordered the smoked salmon - I wasn't expecting much based on the reviews but I really enjoyed this, the first 3/4 at least. The bagel itself was good. It had a solid portion of salmon with a good balance of cream cheese. Where they lost me is that 1/4 of it sadly had no salmon at all - I wish they portioned it out correctly to spread across the full bagel. I tried to go the next morning to grab a couple of bagels on the go but they only had drive-thru open so I was SOL since I walked from the hotel. I have gone to this Brueggers bagel for a long time, simply because it is convenient and has a drive thru. I never used to have issues with my food, but about a year ago it seemed like every other time I went my order was wrong. I've never said anything until now. Today I went back and after I got my food in the drive thru I pulled it out to make sure it was right (it's frustrating to get to work and find my breakfast sandwich is missing egg, or cheese, etc) the girl Working the drive thru sat and watched me and opened the window and asked if everything was okay. I think this comes down to personal preference but I do not like Bruegger's. Or Caribou for that matter. I'll start with the Caribou Coffee options. How the heck do they make it so sweet? I can hardly even get through my drink. There were two times when I had to bring the drink back home and add black coffee to my drink. I feel like I really want to like their breakfast bagel sandwich options. And I really did love the fact that they had drive-thru for convenience. Made the mistake of trying this location again today. After waiting in the long drive-thru line, I placed my order. The person taking my order did not have it correct, When I pulled up to the window, I had to explain three times what the order was supposed to be. ... They supposedly corrected it, and remade the order, while everyone else in the line waited. ... When I got home, I discovered that they STILL screwed up the order! Two bagels that were supposed to be toasted, but more likely microwaved. A bagel sandwich that was not only the wrong sandwich from the one ordered, but did not have all the ingredients for the sandwich it was supposed to be. ... I just moved to the neighborhood and went to Bruegger's on a weekday. They were fast and the bagels and coffee were great. The bagel had a proper amount of cream cheese and was warm. Coming on a weekend was a total different story and was hectic. I waited in line for 40 minutes and the way the drive through line is set up you can't leave if the line is taking too long, you're stuck. The employees were nice enough but the bagels were not good. My bagel was completely different from when I had it on a weekday. There was barely any cream cheese at all on it and was a hard bagel. The other bagel I bought was raw and flat and inedible. Stale bagels; brittle as chalk. I stopped at about 11:30 on a Saturday morning, assuming that the bagels would be at least reasonably fresh. They were not. I bought a half dozen. Leathery outside and crumbling insides roughly the consistency of packing peanuts. They were obviously trying to pass off yesterday's bagels as today's bagels. This Brueggers Bagels serves Caribou Coffee (full menu). I was confused at first when I looked on the map and saw that there was a Caribou Coffee at this address but when I walked up I saw no indication that there was Caribou Coffee inside. However, once I actually walked in I saw it on the menu. I decided to order a caramel chocolate truffle latte (one of their seasonal drinks) plus the veggie bagel ("Leonardo da Veggie"). The drink and food were both good and the wait was pretty short (although it was sort of off-hours/ late lunch timing). I have no complaints so I feel like it deserves a better rating that what it currently has. read more

The sun ripened tomato paste and garden herb cream cheese work well together with a generous amount of deli cut turkey, a lettuce leaf, red onion slivers, on a sesame seed bagel. It comes with a pickle on the side too. This has been my fav sandwich since 1999! I also get the campfire mocha, blended and sea salt chips. This is the ultimate lunch!
