Went to order a bagel sandwich and asked for everything bagel, was told there was no everything bagels left. Ordered a lemonade and asked if there was pulp in it at to cashier said no. I get to pick up my sandwich and i see 30 everything bagels sitting on the shelves. Took a sip out of my lemonade and sure enough there was pulp filled in the drink. I was waiting for my son's morning hockey game to start on a Sunday in December and landed in here after grabbing donuts next door. I had never heard of this place, but saw the Vermonter on the window sign and had to try it. It was surprisingly slow in the store at around 9:30am, so I was able to quickly order. I guess I was so excited to eat the sandwich that I didn't even think to ask any questions or if there were other options. The person at the counter just made the sandwich and I paid and left. He wasn't rude, but he wasn't exceptionally warm either. I got in the car and took a bite and it was absolutely amazing! All the flavors mixed together made for a party in my mouth. But then I noticed that there was a flavor that didn't come through, which was the maple French toast. After having already eaten half the sandwich, I realized that the bagel was some sort of Asiago cheese derivative. Now I realize I could have gone in there and asked for the proper bagel, but I'm usually not that kind of patron. I feel that I shouldn't have to confirm that the right bagel is being used and if the normal bagel was unavailable, I should have been notified. So possibly, I should have gone in and asked for a change, but again, the person at the counter wasn't the friendliest, so I opted to just eat my sandwich and leave a 3-star review. I would go back, if I was in the area, and maybe I would upgrade the score for better service. read more

My wife and I were greeted with a big smile and a genuine, "Good morning! Welcome to Bruegger's." That alone set a different tone. When my wife ordered a French Toast bagel, the woman at the register apologized and let her know they were out--but that a fresh batch would be ready in about 10 minutes. With no backup in mind, my wife opted for a plain bagel instead. What happened next is what really stood out. The bagel maker, having overheard the exchange, stepped in politely and suggested the cinnamon and sugar bagel as a great substitute--"very similar to the French Toast," he said. And you know what? He was right. This is what good service looks like. It's what's missing from far too many establishments these days--a genuine interest in the customer's experience. From the warm greeting to that small but thoughtful suggestion, the staff at this Bruegger's showed they understand what hospitality means. Because let's be honest--anyone can toast a bagel or fry an egg at home. When we go out, we're paying for more than just the food--we're looking for a pleasant experience. I once heard a guy say to a grumpy diner waitress, "Sweetie, I can get surly at home." At the time, I laughed. But I've come to appreciate what he meant. We don't *have* to be here--we choose to come. We choose to spend our money and time. And that choice helps keep doors open, lights on, and people employed. So, hats off to the team at Bruegger's. The dark coffee is excellent! That surprised me because I am very picky about my coffee! I ordered a salt bagel toasted with chive cream cheese. The bagel tasted so fresh like it just came out of the barrel! Really nice people working there. read more

Don't visit this location. The manager at of this place obviously doesn't have any common sense. They changed the path for the ordering process and it is disastrous train wreck. The poor employees were stressed out because they had no clue what order goes to what customer. You order by the main entrance and then go wait for your order in the back of the restaurant and then have weave your way through the people ordering to get out. If they had common sense they would look at the layout of the restaurant find a smooth flowing way to get customers in and out. read more

I have been a regular at Bruegger's for the past 3 years...all the friendly workers are gone :( It appears they have been replaced by new managment. I have been in the store the past 4 days in a row (even bought a new coffee card for $139) and the manager who has helped me everyday still doesn't remember me :( I guess I was spoiled by the old workers who gave this store a non-corporate feel and miss the friendly small town feel it used to have. I generally don't write reviews of chains, because let's face it, you generally get what you expect at a chain. That is kind of the "safety" of chain eating. However, I am making an exception for this location of Brueggars. I come here regularly and the service is always friendly and upbeat. The manager (possibly owner) is almost always working, either making the sandwiches or ringing people up, or both. On slow days, he will chat up customers in a warm, welcoming manner. On busy days, he works in a hurried manner but still manages to be friendly. And I assume his employees like him and the work environment because there seems to be little employee turnover and they are also very nice and smiley whether or not he is around. The tables are always clean, something that I notice since many chains don't seem to bother to clean off tables much. Outside is a pretty little patio with plants and flowers, which helps soften up the sitting area. Nice place to sip your coffee when weather allows. I am a personal fan of the seasonal iced coffee. It's Coconut right now. Sea Salt and Caramel a couple months ago. I do enjoy that Brueggars switched from pre-prepared eggs, to fresh cracked eggs. Makes a world of difference in taste. Put one of those eggs on a skinny rosemary bagel and swiss cheese...yum. Oh yeah...any bagel you want "skinny" can be made on the spot. They just slice out the middle along with several carbs and calories. I actually prefer it skinny because it's easier to eat. So there you have it. They should call this location Better than Brueggars. read more

I've always looked forward to eating at Bruegger's when I'm in the area. I walked in this morning ready to order my favorite salmon bagel with capers and cream cheese. coffee to wash it down. I was very angry to find that you couldn't eat inside. Come on the lock down has looonnngggg since passed. COVID is under control with vaccines, etc. when I walk into a situation I think how lazy the staff and owners are. Greed plays a part in this too. No dining inside requires less staff. I walked out without getting anything. where are you suppose to comfortably eat it??? when people go out to eat they go out to eat. They want to eat in your restaurant. Taking things home, eating in your car or somewhere else doesn't get it. Shame on you. There is no reason for you not to allow dining in your restaurant. You're lazy and greedy! Fix this! The only positive comment I have is that their bagels are usually cooked correctly, with a delightful texture and flavor. The customer service at this location is absolutely terrible. If the general manager isn't working mistakes abound. No eggs prepared for sandwiches, no sausage cooked and ready to serve, countless times of being served the incorrect sauce on my sandwich unless you watch the entire process, and condescending comments from the assistant manager, all coupled with a general apathetic attitude of some of the high school students working there for the summer. Today's visit was the final straw as they were out of eggs and no longer carry the only cheese I like. I wanted to update my review after I returned to this location after 9 months or so had passed. I went in and was immediately greeted by a sweet, energetic employee who was a great face for the company. I should have gotten her name. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and a bagel to be toasted and both were exactly the quality we had been used. The reason I'm giving five stars is because of how accommodating your friendly employee was. This location was out of the cold brew coffee, which I had never had before. Instead of letting me walk out without a coffee, the sweet employee immediately suggested making me an iced coffee with whatever flavor they had available. Some might over look this as not a big deal, but in sales and customer relations, being able to retain your customer and still make the sale is a big deal. Kudos. Very happy to see that change was made. And of course we enjoyed our food and coffee too. Also, this location has a patio. Bonus. read more

So dirty let's start with that. First time going there and thought it would be good for a company luncheon. Service was poor but that is not the issue. How dirty it was and cross contamination made me walk out. The cutting boards that they make your food on are beyond dirty. Hello bleach and sanitizing! What made it even worse was the supervisor came over and cleaned it with a dirty rag. So nasty! P.s no glove changes when they touch something gross then your food.
