Fois gras mess. Skip this. The combination is a disaster and the pate is not that good.
    Sandy A.

Ambience was lovely, inside and out. Service was good. Food was ok. Many of our dishes were over complicated by too many ingredients - that didn't compliment each other. This is a tapas place. We had the fois gras, lobster ceviche and the mussels. Bread pudding for dessert. The best of the 3 tapas was the ceviche. Fresh with good flavor. Skip the fois gras- first I don't like it seared and second, the pairing was odd. Just give me the pate, cracker's or bread, pickles and mustard and call it a day- let the fois gras shine. The mussels had a spicy play which wasn't bad but it's not served in the traditional French way- in a broth/wine sauce. This was tomato based. It was good just non-traditional and that's ok. They were good but not great. Our bread pudding had potential but came out cold so it was disappointing. The menu is interesting and I'd come back to try other dishes but I wouldn't repeat what I had other than the ceviche. It was a nice experience but some of the food items are over complicated and fell short on flavor.

Rainy evening but we got a great parking spot right in front. We were seated right away and our server brought water while we waited for our friends to arrive. Chef's offerings for the evening were intriguing. I went with the Short rib sliders and a side of whipped potatoes. My wife and I shared a Caesar salad with anchovies which was great. My Short rib sliders on soft seeded buns were fantastic! Tender pulled short ribs with coleslaw and sweet pickled onions. The whipped mashed potatoes were piping hot and velvety smooth. I had a glass of NZ White Haven Sauvignon Blanc, nice and full of crisp flavor. My liquid dessert was a glass of Sambuca, which our server heated for me as requested. Great food, service and we enjoyed the experience with our friends !

Lobster Ceviche, Patty Melt, and Side Salad

They have great gluten-free options. My wife and I ordered a patty melt on a gluten-free bun, which was really good; with a side salad and lobster ceviche. Their pistachio cream brûlée was just OK. The service was excellent and the ambience was very pleasant.

Stopped for a bite. Not too busy but good ambiance as usual. Great date night spot. The drinks took the highlight of the evening, great bartenders!!! The polynesian chicken wings were the best. The fish tacos and jumbo crab were OK. We would of liked a thinner cut of the crudo with much more lime juice all in all a good visit.

This was my first time here but my friends who took me love this place. We came on a Friday night and there were plenty of tables available. It was great weather for the outside so we sat outside. We tried chicken meatballs, wild shrimp ceviche (my fave) and the fish dip to start. All delicious. Then we shared the lamb chomp, shrimp tacos and the lobster Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese, WOW must have but can't go wrong with any of it. With everything shared and few glasses of wine. It's around $100 plus tip each.

We popped into Brule Bistro last night with friends and it was a nice meal. It had been on our list of spots we wanted to try, so when a double date night came up, Brule was the call. We aimed to get there early as they don't do reservations, first come first serve only. getting there by 630 did work and we got a table right away. Our server took a while to show up, but was quick to take the order once she did. I decided to go for a fun drink and got a grapefruit cosmo. The whole table tried it, and I think we all liked it. we split a salad and then the meals came. 3 different runners came out with the food so we all got our food at the same time. I don't know if they always work that way but it was nice. My shrimp tacos were solid, ate em pretty fast. The baconized potato's were a good call too. It's a louder spot but we could all hear each other pretty well. Our server seemed spread a little thin but it wasn't a big deal overall. I would definitely recommend the spot.

A great spot for lunch. Their house-made soups and sandwiches are amazing. Highly recommend!

My husband and I showed up on Valentine's Day without a reservation. I went to the website prior to the evening and noted. They do not accept reservations so I thought we would just go early and wing it. Come to find out on special occasions and holidays they do accept reservations. The hostess was so kind though, and we were there so early in the evening that she was able to give us a little table outside. We were promptly greeted by our waitress Bri. She was fantastic! She made wonderful recommendations and had such a lovely personality. We started with the bread and the crispy octopus. The bread was delicious however I would've liked it more had it been warm bread. The crispy octopus with little potato wedges was fantastic. The sauce that was underneath had a nice flavor to it. I only wish it had a little more to it. It was a tiny portion for sharing. Next, we got our main course. I got the scallops with sweet potato purée and my husband got the crispy snapper. We both ate every morsel on our plate, leaving nothing behind! My scallops were crispy and cooked perfectly! The sweet potato, pork lardon and pea combination was so fresh and delish! My husband said his snapper was cooked perfectly and had tons of flavor. Not too heavy on the batter. We were so full, we didn't get dessert but we wil next time and they had great options. The Charlie Brownie looked incredible! It was cozy and warm inside with pillows and comfy benches. There were tons of little bistro tables outside with cool lights. Very fun and trendy bar too!

Brule Bistro came highly recommended by local friends while I was in the area for a road trip recently. I wasn't able to stay long enough to eat in the restaurant but did pick up chicken & waffles brunch and pistachio creme brulee to go. The ambiance while I picked up my food looked fun and modern and the hostess was helpful, but this was a limited experience to my pick up. The flavors were great and I liked their spin on chicken and waffles with the cornbread and cheese twist. The pistachio creme brulee was the highlight for me though. The flavor and textures were fantastic. Nice and creamy with a good brulee on top and the pistachio was very present to differentiate from a traditional version.

This place is a "hole in the wall" for Delray Beach. It's right off the Ave, and has a warm and cozy atmosphere, and some tables have couches/pillows to sit on. They do not take reservations, but we had no issues getting a table for 2 inside at 7pm. The food came out super quick, and tasted AMAZING. The menu had a wide variety of options, seafood, steak, good apps too. Highly recommend finishing with the Cookies and Cream dessert!!

    Brulé Omelet

I consider this review a 4.5 stars. Brulé is a truly delightful bistro in the Pineapple Grove Village of Delray. Established in 2007 by chef / owner Suzanne Perrotto, she also owns Rose's Daughter just a block away. Both restaurants were positively reviewed on Check Please South Florida. Perrotto is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu. Each restaurant has a beautiful website. I arrived at 11:45 AM on a Wednesday for lunch. The restaurant was largely empty but by 12:15 a crowd filled both the outdoor and indoor seating. RJ was my waiter. A very nice and pleasant young man, he was very attentive throughout my visit and he recommended his favorite dishes on the menu. I selected the Brulé "Omelet" for lunch. It was light and fluffy with broccoli, fontina, mushrooms, a homemade tomato salsa and toasted house bread. I added ham to the dish for an extra $2. It was very good. A most delicious and fresh arugula salad came with the entree. This arugula seemed homegrown. The person sitting at the next table ordered Jumbo Shrimp and Grits. It looked amazing and I will try that next time. My only sore points of the visit were soiled seat cushions for window-side tables that desperately needed a good shampooing and tables so close together that a private conversation is nearly impossible. But don't let these minor points distract you from visiting Chef Suzanne's bistro. The food and service are well worth it!

We were excited to have a nice dinner here for my husband's birthday but it didn't quite live up to our hopes or the reviews. Ambiance is nice - dark and moody. The hostess was great about accommodating us quickly. Our server was prompt and friendly. She took my husband's allergy seriously and confirmed everything with the kitchen. 5/5 stars The food fell flat. 2/5 stars. We shared the foie gras as a starter. Just bad. The foie gras underdone and everything tasted overwhelmingly of raisins and cheap maple syrup. Hubby ordered the lamb chops - they were salty and the side salad was completely forgettable. I ordered the lamb ragú papardelle - the sauce, delicious! Nice acidity and heat but the noodles were harder than al dente. Didn't bother with dessert.

The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. My husband got the BBQ pizza and was very happy - both for dinner, and for the next day's lunch. I got the chicken parm, and also had plenty for a large lunch the next day. Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

The bar and restaurant itself has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I ordered the tuna appetizer, but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. To their credit, the staff handled it very professionally and took it back without any issue, which I appreciated. The rest of the table had a much better experience with their meals. The steak and salads especially got good reviews from everyone and looked very well prepared. Even though my dish missed the mark, the service and atmosphere were solid enough that I'd still consider giving eTwic another try in the future. Sometimes one item just doesn't hit, and there were definitely enough positives about the restaurant to make me curious to come back and try something different next time. I know that one friend at the table really enjoys this place so I must believe that she has good taste!
