Friendly service. Food came out promptly. Casual atmosphere. Water views. I liked my shrimp tacos, just enough food not too much, my dining partner liked his fish & chips, not oily or greasy,

Last minute plans on a Saturday night, we decided to go out for early dinner and drinks. My BF called Drift to see if they had some open spots at the bar, but at the time we got there it was full, and no available tables open until hours later. But they allowed us to have one of the high-top tables, and that was perfect. I started with their espresso martini, while looking though the menu. They have salads, handhelds, pastas, flatbreads, etc. The mussels were calling me, but they come in a spicy sauce, so looked again, and ended ordering the lobster bisque, from their small plates section. It was a good portion for me and loved that it has shredded lobster in every bite, plus two small pieces as garnish. My BF had his own meal and still asked for some of mine, that's how good it was. He had the burger with onion crisps and jam. This was also delicious. BIG, and perfectly cooked, juicy meat. Very flavorful, and the fries were on point. Before we left, I wanted to try their prosecco colada. Fun, refreshing version of a Pina Colada. Very tropical, sweet, and summery. We already recommended Drift to some friends and will continue to do so.

Brunch is now $49 pp. you get some baked goods. Appetizer and a meal. The butcher block is my favorite. Then it ends with some desserts. I didn't try any because I have a berry allergy and they didn't bring me one. Parking is $20 valet or validate it at restaurant and get valet for $10. Private rooms for 12 people are nice. They have two other rooms for larger parties.

THE GROUPER DISH!!! holy shit this totally blew me away!!! perfectly done fish with a nice crispy edge over perfect mashed potatoes and a sauce that wrapped it all together PERFECT. I find myself not knowing another adjective to use besides perfect.... That's how you know it's a good place (or that I have the vocabulary of a third grader u choose). we also got the mushroom pizza with truffle and it was phenomenal (new adjective hehe). Last but not least our bartender, Nick, was a homie and he made our experience that much more memorable!

Drift is the seafood restaurant with a flare housed inside the oceanfront Grand Opal Resort and Spa. We made reservations well in advance and valeted our car upon arrival. We walked around a little bit exploring the resort before heading in to dinner. The restaurant was beautifully appointed with a sea & adventure theme. There were 5 dining areas; the main dining room, chef's gallery, 2 glass-enclosed private rooms, a mixology room, and an outdoor verandah. We were seated outside right on busy and very noisy Atlantic Avenue. Alice our waitress from Alaska brought over lots of menus and explained the drink, appetizer and main specials. She was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and frequently checked in with us. There was an extensive and creative cocktail list. The wine list had a lot to choose from. I started with a partridge in a pear tree with Hendrix, cinnamon, maple syrup, lemon juice, and pear juice. It was interesting and a really delicious drink. We shared the maple and pomegranate glazed Brussels sprouts with root vegetables and shaved Marcona almonds. It was well prepared, full of flavor and delicious. For dinner, I ordered the coastal shellfish stew with lobster, mahi, shrimp, mussels, fennel in a tomato broth with lemon saffron aïoli. My husband ordered the baby lamb chops, which looked delicious but besides the two lamb chops, there were mounds of brussels sprouts. If we knew there would be brussels sprouts we would have ordered a different appetizer. For dessert, we shared a chocolate truffle bar on a rice crispy crust with raspberry syrup and whipped cream. This was a very nice special night out.

Great dining experience in the Grand Opal Resort! We made advance reservations and they have valet parking. Make sure to have the restaurant validate your parking ticket or it will be a bit more than the $10 for dining here. The restaurant has a little bit of a nautical view. We sat outdoors with a view of Atlantic Ave. Alice our server was personable, attentive and on point with her recommendations. My wife and I shared their maple, pomegranate Brussels sprouts which were very good! For a main course I had their lamb and my wife the shellfish stew with lobster, mahi and shrimp. It was all good. For dessert we had a chocolate truffle on a rice krispy crust with raspberry syrup and whipped cream. A very good dining experience and a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

"Flatbreads" more like a medium pizza- delicious!

We stayed at the Grand Opal during our visit to Delray Beach- lovely hotel and great restaurant Drift! The menu was enticing enough to lure us here 2.5 times despite all the great options around town. Our server in training Colleen was a delight and staff overall were professional and courteous especially accommodating my mother who uses a walker. We loved the food, that whipped feta app was amazing, fish specials fresh and great flavor combos. I had to try the pizza after seeing some other customers eating it- so good but very large! Lastly the key lime pie martini was perfectly balanced- not overly sweet but hit all the notes of KLP. I'd definitely recommend Drift if staying at the Opal or nearby, check it out!

#1 - our bartender was fabulous & helped us pick out the best meal ever #2 - ambiance was dope - we are legit making a wood & rope wall for our home now inspired by the decor here

Started with a tini ~as I always do~ and the whipped feta. I am a feta fanatic so I must order any feta dish on the menu and let me tell you - she DID NOT disappoint. BIG portion = BIG smiles (ask for extra toast). Moved on the Maine Lobster Bisque and Drift came throughhhhhh on the large chunks of lobsta *heaven sent*. Ended with the Bistro Steak and I'm not sure if I was in a food coma or what but I wasn't vibing with it. I'd probably opt for another option next time BUT I'd go back. Great little GNO vibes. $10 to valet park with restaurant validation (don't forget or you are going to have to walk all the way back. I made the mistake, so you don't have to :P)

Went with a few friends for dinner. The restaurant is located at the Opal Hotel across from the beach in Delray. The Hotel is beautiful. Parking is a challenge. There is ballet parking, or meter parking across by the beach. I has steak & salad was cooked perfectly. My friend had the pork chop which had an amazing glaze, recommend by the waiter. Other items were salads, pizza, and steak sandwich ( which looked amazing , and my friend liked). Highly recommend for nice vibe, verify menu & prices online to avoid surprises . There is a bar one story above the restaurant, which is very lovely .

Very pleasant and swift service. This restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere. The portions are rather large. I tried their special of duck bao buns. They were ok, but they had some bone pieces included. I also tried a main scallop pasta dish that was decent and enough for two people.

Went for lunch and sat to the bar. This visit definitely made up for last time we came and was not well taken care of. The bartender was amazing. She made great drinks and was very pleasant. The Lobster Bisque 10/10 King Salmon Salad 10/10 ( was very crisp in flavor and the salmon was cooked perfectly) Steak Burger & Fries 10/10 (cooked medium and so juicy. The pickles served with were good too) I know that lunch would be the ideal time to come as it was not too busy and loud like our first visit. I was able to enjoy my food and a nice lunch with my husband

Located in the Opal resort hotel, but has separate entrance to Atlantic Ave so you don't have to enter through hotel. Valet parking and you can get your parking ticket validated at restaurant for portion of the parking fee. restaurant is modern, open with inside and outside seating. Has bar seating with TVs. Nice ambiance and decor feels open, and can have a conversation as wasn't to loud. Great location across street from the beach. There for lunch, seated promptly, waitress was quick to take drinks orders and we asked for recommendations which she provided. We went with the steak sandwich and lobster salad, both were very good. Good size portions of lobster on the salad and steak sandwich was filled with ample steak, the fries were nice and hot. Waitress was attentive and drinks were refilled timely. Will return.

If you're ordering it as it's intended ( for an appetizer... ) share with a large group. When I went, we were just a party of two so we pretty much filled up on it, but it was so good. No one was complaining! In terms of entrées, their eggs that come with this cheesy hash brown casserole is so good. Strawberry and cream basil French toast also really good... to me, it probably didn't need the basil, as that can be a bit bitter- although it sounded great but I didn't love it... But still a really good dish. However, what happened to me there was the waitress dropped a drink on the floor which splashed up all over me. She right away got me some napkins to clean myself off and while I wasn't thrilled, it happens, whatever. I didn't think too much of it. But then the manager comes over and could not be more apologetic. She kept asking what she could do for us... And ended up, taking off our appetizer from the Bill which I thought was very nice of her. I left there so stuffed and will definitely return because it was great food and a good experience - even though I left smelling a little bit like a bar. 100% worth it!

Their was a lively group of people at the bar, we got the last couple spots that were open. The very friendly bartender, who smiling might of been his favorite thing, was quick with the menus. We had just come from dinner so we focused on the drink menu. My gal got a nice red. They served it in a wonderfully different wide orb of a glass. The cocktail menu felt purposefully sparse. Third down just said it was their margarita. I made the call, and it was a good call. their margarita was on point, solid. It's a smaller place. We got there early for our reservation, but it was a busy night and the inside table I had already requested and reserved was given away so we had to sit outside. We asked about seating in the bar but we were told it was booked by a private party. (No one for this party showed up from 7:30-9:30 and the bar was as empty when we left as when we arrived.) They did have portable heaters outside so it wasn't too cold, but again, not what I requested or reserved. Our server was friendly and greeted us immediately, explaining the nightly special. We started with the Hamachi appetizer, a fun mix of yellowtail with passionfruit and gochujang. Everything about it was delicious but the yellowtail tasted much fishier than we've had elsewhere. Then the waiting game started. After waiting nearly 40 minutes our server brought the appetizer again so we had to assume he'd put a hold on our order and forgotten it. I went in to ask a few minutes later and our food was just now being staged. I don't mine if things happen, it's life, but tell us up front, say "whoops" and we will move on... Our dinner finally came out and it was really good! - The lovely Spensyr had the Table Wedge Salad, an interesting mix of Bibb lettuce, pork belly, and Tahini ranch, with a sun dried tomato compote. - I had the hangar steak with crispy fried potato and sautéed veg. It was delicious. Because of the earlier wait and mix up, we were offered complimentary desserts. Spensyr got their Key Lime pie and loved it, I got their white chocolate passionfruit cake dome thing and we each thought ours was better. * All in all it was a mixed bag. Apart from the overly fishy appetizer, all our food was delicious. The service was great, except for when they forgot us. The restaurant was comfortable and pleasant other than being kept outside in the cold with an entire empty bar.

We paid almost $100 per person for their omakase experience and it was a complete rip-off. First of all, we left completely starving. There was not one single ounce of protein in any of the courses, and every dish was aggressively salty. The service was just as much of a joke as the food. We never got our water or sodas refilled, and the staff completely ignored every single request we made. They also totally skipped us for the welcome glass of champagne, even though we literally watched them hand it out to everyone else. The most infuriating part was the bread situation. They told us we could not have any because their "upstairs bread oven wasn't working", but we could clearly see them actively serving bread to the downstairs customers. Make it make sense! Also, multiple people in our group had upset stomachs after and could not even stomach the food and left feeling uneasy. They now believe they have food poisoning which is disappointing since we used to love this place! It was also too loud inside and we felt packed as sardines. When we finally expressed our extreme dissatisfaction to the manager, he just gave us a weak "sorry" and did absolutely nothing to make it right.
