This was the new restaurant of the week and a bookmark since they opened. It's in the Sendik's mall with plenty of parking. I got there at just after opening because some of these brunch places fill fast but this place was not like that. The inside is colorful with a stone fireplace and a barn feel with all the exposed wood beams. I was brought a few menus including a drink menu and I was going to ask for a drink recommendation until I saw all the female servers are high school girls so I had a spice Bloody Mary with the $1 chaser. The chaser was a boring mini bottle of Lite beer. The spicy Bloody Mary had great flavor was my first thought with a garnish of a meat stick, cheese, sweet pickle and olive. I ordered the biscuit and gravy Benedict with breakfast potatoes topped with fried onions. My plate came quick and looked good. The breakfast potatoes were golden deep fried cubes topped with fried onions and a nice change from hash browns. The biscuit and gravy Benedict was delicious with the biscuit having the exact country flavor. The sausage patties were mild but good. The sausage gravy was not traditional sausage gravy and more a moist crumbled sausage thing. The poached eggs were cooked past runny and half way to medium so no runny yoke to pour out. Overall it's a nice place for a the whole experience of brunch with a cocktail. I had no service issues because I was only the second table in service at the time. read more

If you come to Brunch, expect at minimum an hour wait for your food. Not to mention the already long wait to get your seat. We really enjoyed the beignets (however we got overcharged $2.50 for them...). But be aware the chocolate dipping sauce is just Hershey's syrup so nothing special there. My moms omelette was cold and the side of fruit was a joke for having to pay an upgrade of $2! My breakfast burrito was just meh. My favorite part were the dang waffle fries. Chicken and waffles were fine but the Sriracha Aioli did not work with the meal. Lastly, the scramble was good so if you have to come, I recommend the beignets or scramble. My daughter and I stopped in here after a noon bridal fitting at Bliss Bridal directly across the parking lot. We were seated immediately, and our server Cindy was very friendly and attentive. We were seated in the back, which was open and very bright, thanks to the surrounding yellow wall. We started with a Brunch Bloody Mary (which was just ok, even with the "special" vodka) and Mimosa, then ordered the Carnitas (with added avocado) and Chorizo Scrambles, both of which were well portioned and delicious. Upon leaving, I did notice that the floor around one empty table was littered with various empty paper wrappings, but the restaurant overall was fairly clean. Wanted to try a new place for brunch so we went to "Brunch". When we went, there was no waiting so we were seated immediately. The server was pleasant and attentive. The first thing that caught my attention was that we were brought water in mason jars, but every other patron (before and after we got there) had water in regular glasses. May seem insignificant but it's not. We started with croissant beignets with dipping sauce. They were great. Hot and crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside. The strawberry and chocolate dipping sauces were the perfect combination. Would get these again! But that brings us to the food, which was VERY basic. I had the chicken & waffles (without the pickles and pickled onions). The chicken was well cooked but lacked seasoning. Waffle was small and a little rubbery, slightly undercooked, not crispy or light. Asked for crispy hash browns but got the exact opposite. Soft & rubbery (and cold) Hubby got "Dad Bod" plate...bacon, sausage, ham slice, eggs and pancake (or waffle) and sweet potato fries. Again, basic, not horrible, but not great either. Pancake was plate-sized but it too was rubbery and not very appealing. He did enjoy the sweet potato fries. They were crispy and tasty. Our food prices ranged from $16 to $18. Brunch, in my opinion, is maybe a 1/2 step above Denny's or IHop...maybe. We probably won't return to Brunch because one of our favorite breakfast places (Maxim's) is a mile east of Brunch and the food is considerably better. Just wanted to try a different place today. We don't consider ourselves a religious tribe, but we can appreciate the ritualistic feeding post-absolution. I'm certain that on a different day, in a parallel universe, this could've been an excellent meal. This was not that day. When we arrived, there were several open tables, willing waitstaff, and one hopeful/hungry family. After all, we heard good things from folks we wouldn't typically trust with our late breakfast. We beat the church crowd, which was apparent after the joint filled up soon afterwards. We were sat at a filthy table with dirty napkins and utensils. We moved, to the unapologetic dismay of the server. We could have maybe forgiven this Sunday sin had she not sat the next-in-line at the same table without resolve. The new patrons didn't notice. We ordered the bloody flights (pretty good flavors) and a kids milk (curdled and spoiled). But- Kiddo was distracted by the Wiki stix presented at each table. Nice touch. So we the parents each had a breakfast entree. It was probably decent. Does it really matter at this point? The Bathrooms were disgusting. I would've allowed repentance at this point had it been 2 hours into the brunch rush. It was not. It was slow at this point. I felt bad for the holiest amongst us this morning. This goes down in history as the worst Benedict I've ever had. Hollandaise tasted...fake? I'm not sure how to describe it. I ordered the Florentine Benedict...their take on it has pesto, no spinach and cheese was added. Poached egg was almost all raw..too much of the white was gooey and slimy. I couldn't even eat it. I was really disappointed. Service was good and our waitress was nice, but it just didn't seem worth it. My wife, kids, and I decided to go to Brunch based on pictures and descriptions of tasty looking and sounding food. We timed it well because the church crowd on the Sunday morning we went had the place full in no time after we arrived. My oldest kid had a pancake off the kids menu and the youngest had the Brunchkin Platter (eggs, bacon, potatoes). My wife had the s'mores pancake and I had the Mac & Cheese burrito. Together we shared the breakfast eggrolls appetizer. The oldest kid enjoyed his pancake as expected. The youngest is still a picky toddler so he didn't each much of his, but the oldest also enjoyed the potatoes off the youngest's plate. The eggs and bacon we're pretty standard from what we tried when the youngest was done. The breakfast eggrolls were rather disappointing. They had a nice crispness to them, but there wasn't a single spec of cheese inside like the menu stated there's supposed to be. All we could taste was egg and sausage, which tasted fine, but it was certainly not worth $12 for three eggrolls that were missing a key ingredient. Even with the cheese $12 would be a stretch. My wife's s'mores pancake was huge and quite good based on her opinion and the bite I tried. My burrito, though, was a mixed bag. I liked the flavor of the cheese sauce, but it completely overpowered everything. The few bits of chorizo I did bite into were small and didn't pack much of a punch flavor or heat wise. I wish I had gotten waffle fries as the side instead of a small pancake. It wasn't bad, but it was a little on the thin side and I've had better. Service was awkward. I believe one of the two tending to our table was new and very hesitant when it came to putting things down on our table, almost like they didn't know where to go with some of the items. I may also have been mistaken, but I thought I got a little attitude when we asked if they could close the blinds behind my wife and oldest kid as the sun was beating down right on them. They have a variety of options to choose from and a drink menu which was good because my wife wanted a Bloody Mary. The food was good but it wasn't anything that stood out or was special. I heard about the new breakfast place in Brookfield. I stopped in for a nice meal. This the same space as the old Loaf and Jug. The restaurant is a large room with tables surrounding a large stone fireplace. Looks like it seats about 75-80 on a busy day. I waited to be seated at a table, found a nice spot by the window with the sun shining on my right. Truly a Warm environment. It took the server 10 minutes to find me, bring a glass of water and take my order. The food arrived in a short amount of time. The menu has two sides of food options, a good selection to choose. Prices are 8-14 for most entrees. I had the steak omelette. It was very tasty. I will return. read more

They took my phone number and kept me updated via text alerts. The place is very busy and our wait was 25 minutes. Once seated our server came over within a few minutes to take our order. She was quiet but friendly. She took our order without writing it down and got it right. It took another 25 minutes to get our food. It was a Sunday and it was extremely busy. I popped in last Saturday with a group of ten for my husband's birthday. We live over on this side of town and I was primarily excited that we finally had a unique breakfast option within a ten minute drive that doesn't require me going downtown. Even with such a large group we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table which I thought was pretty good. We did wait a few minutes once we were seated to be greeted by our server, but they were pretty busy and I know as a new restaurant there's always a few kinks to work out. My bloody mary was great with just the right amount of spice. It's a little bit of a bummer that you have to pay $1.00 extra for a chaser since that's included at a lot of other local brunch options, so maybe that's something to consider. I had the Lox Sandwich to eat and it was fantastic! There was an extremely generous portion of salmon and all the other toppings were great as well. The "seasoned breakfast potatoes" were just waffle fries which was a little disappointing, but they did have a seasoning on them which made them a little unique. The service was a little slow and I know that as a new business they're still working on things, but I really did enjoy our breakfast and am incredibly happy that there's a high quality breakfast spot in that location. I can safely say that I'll be going back quite often, and only expect good things once Brunch has been open for a while! P.S. They have old school cartoons on the televisions above the bar. We got on the wait list online and it said 15 minute wait. Got to the restaurant in 15 minutes and was told the website does not get updated and the wait will be an additional 15 minutes. An hour later, we had not been seated and the restaurant was half empty and we left. Receive a text after we left that the kitchen was backed up and there would be a 20 minute wait. Brunch needs to update their website so it gives accurate information and the hostess, knowing that the website is inaccurate needs to give updates to people had been waiting there a long time. read more

I've been looking forward to trying some new places and came here this past weekend. It was a little hard to find but that could be because I'm not from the area. It's located in kind of like a strip mall but I didn't notice any signs telling you that, although I definitely could've missed them. I like the decor, the seats are not too close together and the bright yellow walls help make it feel nice and open. I feel like restaurants seem to be on the darker side at times so this was a nice refreshing change. Our waiter came over pretty quick and did go over the menu since I haven't been there before. He was very nice and made sure to ask if I had any questions. I ordered the beermosa made with Spotted Cow which wasn't bad. My guest chose the bottomless mimosas. It's $15 but worth it as just a glass alone is $7. All you have to do is drink two to basically even it out. You have 4 choices with the bottomless - orange juice, cranberry, pineapple, and grapefruit. All pretty tasty. The food was a toss up between the taco Benedict and breakfast tacos. I thought I can probably get breakfast tacos somewhere else so I went with the Benedict. It was good and a decent sized portion. Comes with potatoes which are ok, add a little salt and use the sauce from the Benedicts and they do taste a little better. The sauce is I believe pico de gallo and guacamole. I'm not sure I would come back for this, partially because of the drive, but I would think about going back to try something else. Maybe those breakfast tacos I decided not to go with. In the end, I would say it was a good experience but not sure if it's quite worth the drive but I would recommend people to try it out. Enjoy if you do! read more

Unexpected breakfast and lunch restaurant tucked away in a Sendik's shopping center. Parking was no issue and I was quickly seated on a Monday lunch hour. The restaurant was pretty empty when I arrived so I was able to pick any seat and I decided to sit next to the fireplace (not hot at all.) our waitress was very attentive and her game was on - my cup was never empty. Decided to give this place a try after driving by it. I am normally not a fan of breakfast or Brunch but my girlfriend wanted to give it a try. My husband and I have been regulars at Brunch since it opened until recently. We've always had good service. We frequently go out for brunch/breakfast in the area and hadn't been to Brunch since last spring. When I saw the price changes this past weekend on the menu, I couldn't believe it. We usually get the same thing - Dad Bod and Quinoa Bowl and those dishes are both several dollars more now. My quinoa power bowl was $20! Plus a $1 upcharge for sauce, otherwise you're eating a bland dish with no flavor, just the food. No more sauces left at the table to share, just individual packets of hot sauce provided only if you ask. I'm so disappointed - we really enjoy the food but for the price and quantity of what you get, feel like Brunch has gotten money hungry. Can get more for less at Mimosa, First Watch, even Hollander. Would love to go more often as service is always friendly but I see why I hear it's been slow lately. Brunch ownership- please reconsider the changes to your pricing! To start, I thought that placing myself in the online queue to be seated would hopefully speed up the waiting time of getting a table. I was incorrect. Not only were my feelings dismissed, but my stomach was too. The server I received seemed nice, but not nice enough to consider the fact I waited for almost an hour and was starving. The food was not only just mediocre but nowhere near the price it is "worth." The hash browns were OVER cooked AND over peppered. I was catfished by the photos of the beignets and the matcha waffle - I wondered if it was actually my food when they brought it out. Overhyped, underwhelming, and hardly any variety. The main issue is they tried to be unique with the dishes served and forgot to offer some of the most traditional breakfast dishes. The food we had was satisfactory and the portion sizes were as expected. My friend's poached eggs were cooked to "perfection" (as he put it). I had the power bowl which had a nice variety of flavors, but the sausages in it were hard and the rice seemed undercooked. The potatoes on both our plates lacked any flavor. Still, I ate the whole thing and enjoyed the kick it had. A very average stop, but unlikely to become a regular one. read more

(Interestingly enough, they share a wall with a large grocery store) who wants a dry pancake, or piece of French or regular toast with their over priced breakfast??? Brunch was good, food was very tasty. I had a hard time with my rating only because the food was delicious but the restaurant was dirty, just plain dirty! With the Corona Virus I would have expecting things to even be cleaner then normal. The doors were covered in finger prints, the bathroom had some sort of fruit fly flying all around, pretty gross. I wouldn't feel comfortable going back unless they got it together. But let me talk about the good, the food. My eggs Benedict I ordered with sausage, hard poached and a side pancake-One of the best eggs Benedict I've had in a while, pancake was tasty as well. I had a nice glass of pineapple juice. I would have loved to order a cappuccino or latte but they only served regular coffee and tea and then a very large cocktail menu. Service was good as well. Service and food portions was great and I'm hoping that they keep it that way for the prices that they're charging. Had it not been for pretty tasty food, I'd easily have given one star. On a Sunday around 10am, it was clear they were understaffed or undertrained. Tables sat uncleared while there was a 45 minute wait. The complimentary coffee would have been nice had there been mugs to put it in. When mugs finally arrived, the coffee ran out and no one refilled it. The service was awful. Took 20 minutes to get our Bloody Mary flights (which were underwhelming), coffee was never refilled, and it took an hour to get food. The crab benedict was very good, but the poached eggs looked like they were cooked in an egg mold-not the best presentation. Our server was also very awkward. He had a trainee, but failed to mention that she was training so we were unsure who to even give our order to. So many (easy) fixes to service are needed for me to return. read more

Got a cup of coffee (2 of us) and the waitress never came back to refill our cups, we had to flag her down and ask for more coffee and then she never appeared again with coffee. We placed our order, nothing fancy, and then waited, waited, waited and finally asked our waitress when we can expect our food...she appeared to not even be aware that we didn't have food yet, nothing. It was just after 1:00 before we got anything and everything did not arrive, it was another 15 minutes before my grandson, age 6 and his dad got their food. I ordered hashbrowns 'well done' but they were barely cooked let alone well done. All the food was warm at best but after over an hour wait who's going to send it back to be reheated??? , When the check came and my daughter voiced her disappointment with the service, we were offered one free drink. Really, no thanks. Then offered 10% discount of the bill, Maybe that was $15-$16, THAT, was another disappointment and the server didn't even seem to care.
