It wasn't busy so it was nice to be seated right away. The server was ok but not friendly. The iced coffee was terrible. Asked for my bacon well done and crispy and both pieces were white and pink and only the ends were brown. The avocado on my sandwich was all brown as well. I usually will just scoop the brown out but the whole tablespoon was brown. Potatoes were decent. If you're looking for a good brunch/breakfast place there are much better options out there! When we arrived, we got a table right away with no wait around Sunday brunch time. Our waiter was quick to help us order drinks and food. Everything came out very quickly which was great because we were a hungry bunch. We split the Floridian French toast and the double bacon parmesan seasonal special. The French toast was good with the compote and syrup - I would say a solid option but not the best I've ever had. The other dish though was SO good. Husband i visited this location yesterday for brunch. We were seated promptly and ordered quickly. I ordered the pick 2 off the menu. I got the half Cobb Salad and cup of Italian Wedding Soup. My husband ordered breakfast stuff. Cobb Salad was okay, soup however was cold. I told the waitress about it and she said she'd bring me a new cup of it. Second time and soup is till cold. Obviously wherever she got it from was cold. Like how about microwaving my soup? I did not complain about the 2nd cup of soup, but should have. Anyway, food was mediocre. Need for improvement for sure. We've decided not to come back. read more

We got seated fairly quickly. Our server was Jolene. She was super friendly, really nice and attentive. My son and I decided to grab brunch before going shopping and this was the best choice. The parking lot was busy, but they have enough space on the front and back which it's nice. Once you walk inside it feels so nice and airy. It was just a great way of coming into a restaurant to enjoy the food. Our food was really good and tasty and we got served fairly quickly. Also, I love the fact that they give us our own carafe so that we don't have to keep asking for more coffee as soon as I requested the creamer I didn't have to wait a long time because she was very efficient bringing it right away. I had the avocado toast and my son had the CHICKICHANGA that was amazing. The restaurant was very busy but the staff look like they all get along really well. We visited late morning on a Wednesday and while it was not packed, it was surely busy. We were greeted and seated immediately and our server arrived quickly. I had the original Eggs Benedict with potatoes, and my friend had the Trifecta, both of which were delicious. I mentioned I would be using my birthday gift of a BOGO (for giving them my info) and they also brought a delish Blueberry Muffin with whipped cream. The presentation was darling! But the most impressive part of our visit was the kindness and generosity of the GM, Jesse A., who donated me a gift card for an upcoming fundraising event at the Food Pantry of Waukesha County. The kindness he showed was honest and greatly appreciated. He is a wonderful representative of First Watch and his response alone tells me this place should be honored and supported with our business. Thank you so much, Jesse. This location is fully accessible and the parking is easy. In the warmer weather, the outdoor seating will be wonderful. I'm giving this a 3 star because the food is great, but our server Angela was horrible. She has zero emotional intelligence. She didn't check in on us until it was time to give us our bill. It's actually very embarrassing for a restaurant that has great food. I also didn't even know her name was Angela until I looked at the check. Shows how personable she is. Arrived around noon and the parking lot looked full, thinking a long wait. We checked in and were seated in about a minute, nice surprise. Waitress Chloe arrived almost immediately with coffee and help. Nice fluffy pancakes, potatoes were done perfectly. I had the Million dollar bacon special: 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup water, 8 slices bacon Nice! My partner had the soup and salad combo she thought was great. Chloe suggested the Kale Tonic. Hmmm. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and ordered it. Great flavor and I would get again. My time here was great! We went on a Sunday, so it was busy, so I'd try to go on a Saturday. The waitress that served us was kind and made sure to fill our coffees/waters. The table had all the condiments you'd need, and had space for all 8 of us. The place a small place just off of Capital drive, which made it easy to get to, and check in was perfect. read more

Second visit to a First Watch, this time the one on Capitol Dr. in Pewaukee, Six of us had breakfast together, all making different choices. I had a summer special, the Breakfast Carnitas de Tostada, which was excellent. There's no question about whether a chain can surpass a local favorite in terms of creative choices, number of options, generous servings and healthy ingredients. First Watch outdistances Milwaukee's old favorite Blue's Egg by a long shot. Savannah is a great server. Location is a bit odd with the access off of a back road, but outdoor seating allows you to watch the cars go by! (grins) read more

After waiting until 12:53 at the carryout location, I went to find an employee to check on the order. I could see a carryout order sitting on the counter in the service station on the other side of the kitchen. At 12:57, I finally was able to get an employee to check. Sure enough, my pancakes had been sitting there fir 15 minutes while I wasted my lunch time waiting for my order. Employees walked by that order as it sat there getting cold. But nobody cared. Employees saw me waiting for my carryout order. But nobody cared. I'm done with this place. A prior order had no syrup. Twice, I had chocolate chips in my blueberry pancakes. Details matter. I came here for the first time to have breakfast with old friends. I ordered the Florentine eggs Benedict. What I got was a version of eggs Benedict that was not tasty and frankly just wrong. Instead of a base of English muffin, they used what seemed like a toasted hoagie roll. The spinach on top was uncooked, kind of piled on. The manager said it was their version , that they use focaccia bread. This was definitely not that. The hollandaise sauce was a little too runny, and nothing was very tasty. I think for the price they need to improve this menu item. If a chef wants to exchange a particular ingredient of an eggs Benedict, don't downgrade it to half sub sandwich roll. And please sauté the spinach in some oil, garlic and salt for some flavor. That said the service was adequate. And the ambience was comfortable. I hope this helps improve this classic menu item. read more

Marginal establishment, don't waste your money. Overpriced. Very crowed for Sunday Brunch and "waitlist" did little to help that. They don't accept American Express. Staff were marginally curteous - primarily rushed and anxious to get us out and the next customers in. Had a horrible experience at this location. Sat at our table for 10 minutes without being waited on. Finally we were served water and waited another five minutes for coffee. Ordered our food and everything came except for one meal. Our server told us that the order "got lost" and that the kitchen "got hit with a huge order so they would get our missing meal to us as soon as possible." Once it arrived, it was ice cold so clearly it was just sitting in the back. My daughter ordered pancakes and had to ask twice for syrup. Finally our server brought it and by then, the pancakes were cold. Upon checkout, when we were asked how everything was we said not good and all the host did was smile back and say OK. We came after church and I realize this is a busy time. But this is a restaurant that specializes in breakfast and brunch. I hope service improves with time. read more

Great food and service was fantastic! It's my new favorite place! Their juice bar is awesome. Our group had the pumpkin pancakes (so good), the million dollar hash (my friend loved it) and the ham and Gruyère omelet--so delicious. We also ordered a superfood kale salad and an avocado chop salad with chicken to go. All the food was incredibly fresh and so flavorful. Perfect! I've been to several different First Watch locations throughout the US, and every location was fabulous, until this one.... First of all, the online waitlist is a joke. We signed in while we were driving, and it said we were in line, but apparently "in line" doesn't really begin until you check in upon arrival. When we finally were seated, the server was prompt to the table, and we ordered immediately. Then, we were completely ignored. I had asked for more creamer and water, and it never came. Then we ran out of coffee. Every time our server walked past, she looked away. I finally forced her to stop to get what we needed. I assumed we just had a new/inexperienced server, and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, when the food eventually came, the eggs were overcooked, and all the food was cold. Super disappointing. Won't go back. There are too many other choices in the area. read more

Maybe it was just because it was Mother's Day, but this was not a good experience at all. We signed in on line and told to check in at a certain time. We got there about 10 minutes before that time and told it was a 30 minute wait. 45 minutes later told it was 15-20 minute wait. Then another wait. They seemed to be putting groups of 3 or more ahead of the two person tables. Finally got to sit down. Long wait for service. When food finally arrived it was about a 1-2 out of 10. I ordered French toast and it tasted like onions. Did they reuse an egg/onion pan for the French toast or what? Not tasty at all. The eggs were overcooked. Just a bad experience. I don't think I will be going back. Just be aware that checking in online doesn't do much for you! read more
