The flights for the mimosas and Bloody Mary's were fantastic. 4 samples per flight-decent sized too. My husband and I mostly went to try the Bloody Mary line up and weren't disappointed. His favorite was the fiery pepper and mine the bacon. We tried the pickle and the herb too-both were good and toppings for each one paired well. He's not a mimosa fan and even he enjoyed it. Spur of the moment visit for breakfast on Monday, and it was a good choice. Brunch in Brookfield has been on my radar for the last few years and since it was a holiday and a weekday we did not think it would be packed and we were correct. The store was nice and bright due to all the windows and a warm winter sun. All the employees that we interacted with were super nice and helpful since it was our first visit to Brunch. The coffee are pretty and hold enough joe to get you going after a Packer's loss and a few beers the night before. I believe the coffee is from Valentine coffee roasters here in Milwaukee, pretty good. My ordered the lemon berry pancake with is huge, as you can tell from the picture. She was able to eat half of it and she would have been able to take it the other half home, but unfortunately somehow we left it on the table. Ohh well, not the first time and definitely the last. I ordered the biscuits with gravy and scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, and hash browns. There seriously is a lot of food here and I did my best, but you do get your money's worth. The biscuit was nice and soft and the gravy was alright, a little thin for my liking but decent. My order of scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese was a good call of poached eggs. The eggs were cooked awesomely with just the right amount of cheese. Also, the hash browns were crispy on top, but a little soft on the bottom but still good. Additionally, the hot sauce bar has many options for those that like it hot, an added bonus is that the majority of these sauces are from Wisconsin and super tasty. Arrived at Brunch at noon, 6 adults & 2 young children. It was not busy and there were plenty of open tables. Got a cup of coffee (2 of us) and the waitress never came back to refill our cups, we had to flag her down and ask for more coffee and then she never appeared again with coffee. I ordered hashbrowns 'well done' but they were barely cooked let alone well done. All the food was warm at best but after over an hour wait who's going to send it back to be reheated??? , When the check came and my daughter voiced her disappointment with the service, we were offered one free drink. Really, no thanks. Then offered 10% discount of the bill, Maybe that was $15-$16, THAT, was another disappointment and the server didn't even seem to care. I like this place! The first time I came here, unfortunately, I had a bad experience. It was a hot, July morning, when it was about 100 degrees outside, and Brunch's air conditioning was broken. It was miserable! Despite being hot and uncomfortable, we decided to stay and make the best of it. I am pleased to say that the food and the service were both very good. I am happy to report that the air conditioning has been replaced and, hopefully, they should have no more problems. This visit was great! We were able to reserve a table right on the Yelp! App, so there was virtually no wait. I started off with a mimosa flight. For $16, you choose 4 juices to mix with champagne. The options were: orange, cranberry, mango, pineapple, ruby red grapefruit and strawberry banana. I especially liked the strawberry banana mimosa! The menu features a lighter fare, which I love. Let's face it, we all need to watch our waistlines once in a while. I ordered the Harvest Hash, which is sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, onions, butternut squash, black beans, avocado and roasted red peppers topped with 2 eggs. I thought this place was wonderful! We sat outside, and even though she wasn't officially our server, Victoria was Great! Very friendly, personable and animated. My husband ordered the chorizo scramble. It was very tasty. Although he would've liked a little side of fruit and/or some toast. Now we know to order that à la cart. I ordered the breakfast eggrolls and loved it! Being a native Cheesehead, I would've liked a little more cheddar, but it was otherwise perfect. The sweet chili sauce is very spicy! The manager greeted us with a huge smile, came to check on us when we got our food, and personally thanked us on our way out. She was everywhere. Sienna is an amazing server. I came in for a quick breakfast last week, didn't have alot of time. I was quickly welcomed with a smiling face and upbeat personality. Was sat quickly and had a gentleman named Berto (I believe was his name) welcome me and give me a water. Coffee was hot and fresh, the biscuits and gravy were amazing. Came out hot, and very quickly (faster than I was expecting). The environment was really nice, made me want to stay and read the paper. Five of us came for Sunday morning brunch. The wait was reasonable at 15 minutes. We were seated near the back, and the first thing that caught my eye was how dirty the floor and bench seating was. In addition, it was very loud, quiet table conversation was not possible, but yelling got the job done. Our server took our orders quickly and food came in a reasonable time. However our server had to be asked to bring cream and sugar for our coffee twice, and she never came back to ask about refills on coffee or water. You would think a breakfast place would automatically bring cream and sugar if you order coffee, but maybe that's a new covid precaution. Almost everyone liked their food I had blueberry lemon pancakes, and they were delecious. We felt so rushed at the end of the meal that two people were still eating when the waitress was bringing us our checks and asking if we wanted to go boxes. We had been seated less than 45 minutes, and we were aware people were waiting. We would have left shortly after finishing without being pushed out. Great location, good menu options with a cute interior with a massive fireplace centerpiece, and cartoons/throw back toys around the restaurant. The drinks were also noteworthy and I liked the Bloody Mary and the ability to pick the infused vodkas. Unfortunately the restaurant itself is setup to be something really good, however when the food arrives you are left scratching your head. It's not that the food is bad, it's just not something to get excited about. The best my husband and I could compare it to was going to a chain restaurant where you expect to be eating the majority of food that was previously frozen. That was "Brunch" in a nutshell. Just by looking at the plate you can tell that the chicken on the chicken and waffles was from a freezer bag, as well as the fries and potatoes on the other dishes. Even the eggs tasted precooked. Please consider a more from scratch menu with more seasoning, as the menu could be great and the experience so much better with this change. Man. I really, really wanted to like this place but it was downhill from the moment we walked in. First, I wanted to wash my hands and the bathroom was gross. I had to pee but decided to hold it based on the conditions of both stalls. This should've been my warning and I should've left at that moment. We got to ordering and it appeared to be understaffed but not at all busy. Waitress was nice and seemed to be a little newer to the restaurant so it went slow but we didn't mind. Then the food came... we ordered crab Benedict's and the eggs were so undercooked the majority of the whites were running and clear. We tried to be understanding and explained that the eggs were super undercooked but we'd eat the yolk with some toast and avoid major complaints. Waitress brought our toast after a while but the second egg was worse than the first. Inedible. I decided to just call it a loss but my friend asked the waitress for a new one explaining that this was really beyond undercooked. The waitress seemed nice about it and came back a while later with just a poached egg - no muffin, No sauce, no crab. Literally an egg on a plate. We said whatever cut the loss and leave hungry. Then the bill came...the waitress didn't comp anything and wasn't anywhere to be found. It was taking forever between interactions so we decided to just pay for everything (even the side of toast..), but we will never go back. It seems to be really poorly managed both on the dining floor and in the kitchen. Go somewhere else - there are much better options in the area! read more

I went here with my husband this Saturday. It was not very busy, around 1:30. We were seated at a table by the window's. We moved, because their were egg's on the floor where our feet would go. The whole place was quite dirty, with food on the floor just left there. I ordered the plain breakfast, which consisted of eggs, bacon and potatoes. I asked for eggs over medium, which were more like eggs not barely cooked. I did not eat parts of them. I should have returned them, but did not. I ordered cherry bacon, which too was not properly cooked. Very limpy and I could see the fat which I hate. The only thing good were the potatoes. My husband ordered an omelete, which at least was cooked. Won't be going there again. Dirty, unkept establishment. I have had stomach issues since I ate there. I hope I don't have salmonella from the eggs. Totally awful! Felt sick right after eating there. read more

My wife and I went here recently. She had the eggs Benedict and I had the breakfast burrito. Hers was cold and mine was barely warm. On my white plate I got the breakfast burrito and some waffle fries. No salsa or any garnish, it was the absolutely most boring food presentation I have had in a long time. They did comp us her coffee. Staff was pretty good though. Checking out with the automated credit card holder our wait staff had gave me 3 options for a tip. 18%, 20% and 25%. You know, I really hate these automated tip calculators. I always tip 20-25% but I find it OBNOXIOUS that I now find myself always in a quandary because I am presented with several options. Never on these automated "iPads" or other devices do they let me enter a tip %. Anyway, my wife and I are leaving this off of our list of places to go. Many other better options. Son raved about his Philly Cheesesteak omelet. The Wiscomelette made with Johnsonville bratwurst was excellent as well. Will definitely return! The eclectic menu accommodated our desire for a vegetarian breakfast. The savory root hash with sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts and black beans was amazing. We shared the avocado toast and my husband had the egg white brunchtadas (fried tortillas, egg white, avocado, cheese). They offer turkey sausage and Valentine coffee. Great menu options and flavors. Four stars vs. Five as the service could have been a little better. Typically you shouldn't have to ask for salt and pepper for that table or sugar when you have asked for cream for the coffee or a pen when you have used a debit card to pay for your meal and you need to sign the check. The Brookfield location could benefit from some experienced and more mature servers but overall it was a good visit. read more

I was here today for brunch with my family. The food was not at all what I was expecting. There was so much hype about the "cool new brunch spot" coming to Brookfield but I was quite disappointed. The bloody Mary's were good - but the food was not. The omelets two of our family members got looked over cooked and the potatoes looked like the came out of a frozen bag. I had the chicken and waffles - it was just what it said - 2 waffles and what looked like a frozen chicken tender on a plate. It had no flavor. Finally, my fiancé got the emergen-c drink and the waitress openly told us that he bartender had never made it so they weren't sure how it would taste. My fiancé ordered 2 of the same drink- the first one tasted completely different than the second drink even though they were exactly the same. I know this place is new but I think they should have at least given a chance for guests to give feedback. Give an optional survey or something. Hoping they can improve. read more

Brunch is interesting to visit once. The problem is there are other competing places that are better. We might return only because they are so close to our home. By better, for example: the vegan hash was mainly hash brown potatoes that can be purchased pre-cut. So disappointing after having The Blue Egg hash. The filling of the spinach crepe was a food processed mash up of mainly cream cheese. Again I have had better crepes at other restaurants. Overall the prices seem high for breakfast food (Chicago prices for lower quality. ). Service was fine when we went. Had to send back dirty cups, but problem was taken care of. Oh yes, tea drinkers be prepared to provide instructions. Also, coffee drinkers can grab a cup while they wait for a table. Tea drinkers will need to wait. Still the self serve coffee is a good idea. We asked to remake and the second ones were much better but still not worth the price in my opinion. If it was busy I get it but it was Friday afternoon so empty.She charged me incorrectly never came back to table so had to go to bar to get correct and pay.
