The restaurant was not very busy so there was no wait; however the service is really slow. Don't expect the server to keep your small cup of coffee full. I had to ask for more coffee. The coffee is very weak. ..Mostly water and the water is not purified. The ice water is right from the tap. The quality of breakfast is good... the issue is my breakfast burrito was cold! And the sauce was awful. It was cold and a mustardy sour taste. The potato's were dark burnt almost black and cold. read more

Waited 20 minutes before we even got water, watched our server walk by us without any acknowledgement multiple times, saw tables sat after us get drinks, and have orders taken. I see great reviews but can't seem to get a hold of anyone on the phone. Tried calling several times during the course of the day on May 7, but the phone just kept ringing, then it would disconnect. I chalk it up to them being very busy, so much so that no one could answer the phone. Some advice, create a message advising your potential customers who are calling, that you will call them back. UPDATE - May 8: I received a very prompt response from Nick at the GR Brunch House, stating their phone lines are currently not operational. They have been working with Comcast for these many weeks and a resolution keeps getting delayed. Comcast...ugh! I was able to get my questions answered by calling the Muskegon restaurant. They were friendly, understanding and informative, which I'm sure is the same culture that is being promoted at the GR location. Nick's follow up conveys a testament to their commitment to customer service and I look forward to dining there. I would upgrade my review to 4.5 stars, but the Yelp algorithm won't allow half stars. What a great new brunch spot in a perfect location. The design, decor, and ambiance inside is a total vibe and great for a weekend brunch with friends when you're craving good food and mimosas. Place to go when you need to eat some good breakfast! It's a new place so i'll give it a break for the wait time. When it came to the food wait time though.. i'm disappointed in my eyes. I'm a patient person but this food wait time was crazy. 30+ minutes. So I was very irritated, but the food made me happy. I got the special called cookie dough, very good but very sweet. The eggs were amazing and the ham for me was salty. I might come back if the food wait time is better. I do think the noise in the place is too loud. Need better noise control so everyone isn't fighting to be heard, and so people ears can't walk out feeling hurt. read more

Visited Brunch House for the third time today and had another great experience. My daughter and I had a small window of time in between appointments to grab a bite to eat, and we were seated right away. I mentioned to my server, Kat, that we were on a bit of a tight schedule and she was so kind and attentive. She was prepared to take our order right away, food came out quickly and was delicious (we had breakfast tacos and chocolate chip pancakes!), and she had the bill delivered swiftly all while saying "no rush, just wanted to make sure you were ready to go when you needed to."
