Took my wife, daughter, and her family for a brunch treat on Saturday morning. The server, Baba, was super, especially since there were lines and wait times all morning. The food was decent, but served cold, which is a turnoff for me. The place is very friendly, and alive, but could be a little quieter from people who are sensitive to noise. Still glad we went. Entered at about 11 AM on a Thursday and waited about 15 mins for a table. Staff seemed a little harried. I ordered a Farmers Scram which was pretty plain and unexceptional. My wife had a Florentine Scram which was better and she would order again.she also had raisin toast which was very good except, for whatever reason, very salty. Coffee was good. Service was okay. VERY noisy with no baffling in restaurant design. Probably will not return. read more

A friend and I visited Brunch House on a Monday for lunch and it was packed- a clear sign of how great this place is! We were in a bit of a time crunch and both the host and server were excellent in helping us. I ordered the Florentine scram with pancakes and it was delicious. The garlic mushrooms and home fries were outstanding. I love that you have your choice of toast or pancakes with the scrams- the pancakes were perfectly light and fluffy. My friend got the Mexi Avocado toast and it was awesome as well!! I'm looking forward to going back and trying some of the beverage options. Great little spot in Forest Hills! read more

The food was very tasty; we both had the Classic Eggs Benedict. The service was excellent as was the new ambiance in the restaurant. However, we won't be returning anytime soon as the noise level to talk is very loud, which was exactly the problem was with the old restaurant, and the restaurant wasn't even crowded today. They need to fix as it's very annoying. I can't imagine what it would be like in there if the restaurant was busy. read more

Insane wait times even if you join the waitlist, and the expected reward of "fantastic" food never materializes. I tried the chorizo omelette & had a bad after effect. My hubby got the pancakes that were very fluffy (he loved them), but if you ask for real butter, you'll get tiny pkgs of butter that are refrigerated rock hard & are difficult to spread. Visited the Brunch House for the first time today, March 30. Three of us arrived by 10:30am and were told unapologetically and a bit cocky it was a 2 hour wait because they had several large parties. As I surveyed the restaurant I question the management skills here as there were 2 couples waiting and at least 2 empty booths not bussed. This could maybe explained away that the entire restaurant was just seated and every party would linger 2 hours, well, good luck with that! I guess everyone else was sufficiently discouraged to leave. I doubt I will ever return again. You have to manage it right at the door as well as the tables. read more

I had the chicken Benedict. The coated Chicken thighs were overcooked and not tasty. Hollandaise sauce seemed bitter or off. The Hash-browns were good. The coffee good. My wife ordered a scramble with egg whites. It came with whole eggs, so needed to be sent back. She said the potatoes in the dish were old and not good..the rest of it was fine. Pancakes were fine but nothing special. I understand they have only been open a few months, so maybe still finding their stride. Waiter was friendly. Very nice ambiance. read more
