Came on a Wednesday at around 10am. The server was nice but he definitely didn't stop by often enough to check in. The stars mostly go to the amazing Gingerbread Pancakes. They were awesome and the price for them and the additional egg, bacon, and home fries were a good price. However, the bacon and home fries were so meh. For some reason the bacon tasted like propane to me so this lost them a fair bit in my eyes. They unfortunately only had American coffee and no lattes or specialized coffees so more diner style regardless of being trendy. First time visiting today and it was pretty decent. The menu looks kinda limited but it had enough options for my family and I. I tried the Nutella French toast. It was a 7/10 and I would order it again with extra strawberries! The turkey sausage wasn't the best and the home fries were okay. They had an 86 or 89 score, it wasn't too packed - our wait was like 10 minutes on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. A lot of the things I was excited to try were no longer available because they have a seasonal menu, so be sure to visit their actual website to view their menu. Our server was pretty awesome though! She was patient and attentive - she also shared that they're giving away free food on 12/18 as their way of giving back. So, each person can get one entree but will have to pay for their drinks - this is for the entire day! DO NOT GO HERE FOUND GLASS IN DRINK I came here with my girlfriend for our anniversary lunch. I ordered a cold brew coffee, and while drinking it, I felt something hard in my mouth. When I spit it out, I realized it was a large, sharp piece of glass. This wasn't a tiny sliver it was big enough to seriously injure me. My girlfriend's dad is a paramedic, and he confirmed that if I had swallowed it or it had cut my throat, I could have internally bled and died. That is beyond unacceptable. Accidents happen, but something this dangerous shows a serious lack of safety checks in the kitchen or bar area. We told the staff, and while they apologized, the gravity of this situation can't be overstated. This could have ended my life. read more

This is a bright, lively brunch spot, hence the name, that has a decent menu with some great choices for breakfast, brunch, lunch. They have some interesting menu items, such as the Notorious BLT and I ordered a fruit side. The fruit bowl is very generous with strawberries, blueberries and mandarin oranges. The sandwich is huge and definitely a good portion for the price. We also got the Chicken biscuit supreme also large and very tasty. always a favorite it was great that after being away from over a year the bartender still recognized me for the drink I ordered. the food is phenomenal, and everyone at the table ordered something different, and all enjoyed what they had. The crabcakes were made of fresh crab, and I was very happy with them. I also don't typically like hollandaise sauce, but this sauce was smooth and mellow in flavor. Ate breakfast on a Saturday at this new location by the movie theatre. There is a lot of sturdy booth seating for bigger groups. Inside looked nice and decorative. Our waitress was great. We ordered the all American with bacon, home fries, cin-a-bun and chocolate chip pancakes, Nutella French toast, and biscuit with egg, cheddar cheeses, and sausage patty sandwich. The French toast was OK, the egg batter wasn't soaked through the whole bread. The biscuit sandwich was good, the biscuit was soft and flaky. I finally just tried Brunches this past week for the first time after seeing so many rave reviews about it online through social media influencers as well as my own friends. To my knowledge, there are two in Wilmington. I tried the one in Wilmington proper and not on Carolina Beach. Wow I was so impressed! There are so many drinks to choose from both alcohol alcoholic, and non-alcoholic. There's also a lot of great food options - healthy or not. Service was friendly and they had a nice feature for weights that kept you updated with how many parties were in front of you. Seating area is ample and the bar is huge! I might definitely want to try sitting at the bar next time. Something else I like about this place is that they have a lot of promos - look at the laminated paper on your table - they will tell you how you can enter to win little contests like free brunch for a whole month by posting on social media. Hi everyone! We just visited here from Charlotte North Carolina and I wanted to give this place a honest review. The things they did well: The customer service was amazing. Our waitress was the sweetest and was always on top of everything! Their drinks are also delicious! The wait wasn't too bad at all. After being added to the wait list we were invited in 4 minutes later! Incredible! Things that could be improved: The food was delicious, although if you don't want your food to touch I would definitely let your waitress know. It was also pretty loud in the establishment itself, but that's because it's a good place for drinks and everyone was having fun. They also only have cold brew and normal black coffee. The website said there was more options so I was a little sad about that but the creamer they gave to me was delicious. Went here yesterday. It had that weird yellow, black and white decor that so many new restaurants use now. I find it cold and off-putting. It was around 8:30 or 9:00 am on a Monday. They weren't too busy. Place was clean and orderly and staff was attentive. I ordered the all-American and OJ, and my husband ordered sausage gravy and biscuits. Husband's gravy looked like it had been poured out of a can, and he said it wasn't great. My food was pretty good except the bacon and OJ. It tasted good, but was limp and greasy as was my husband's, and I've had better OJ made from concentrate. The pancakes were outstanding and the grits were pretty tasteless. It wasn't pricey, and I might give them a second chance. Would like to try the one near Mayfaire next time and see if it fares any better. read more
