This is hand down the best Pizza around!! Everything about the pizza is perfect down to the last bite!

Did we even eat at the same Bruno's everyone else is raving about? I should've taken a photo of our food before writing this, because I honestly don't know how anyone could defend what we were served. We ordered two 16" pizzas--the Parmigiana Chicken and the Napoli--plus 14 wings. The wings were laughably small and wildly overpriced, but that doesn't even scratch the surface of how bad this experience was. I was excited to try this place. The reviews were glowing, the photos looked incredible, and we chose Bruno's specifically to celebrate New Year's Eve with my partner. What a mistake. Both pizzas were completely ruined. Burnt, tough, dry, and utterly flavorless. They looked nothing like the pictures in the reviews--almost no sauce, overcooked to the point of being inedible, and closer to stale cheesy cardboard than pizza. If this is "authentic," then authenticity has a serious problem. For a moment, we genuinely wondered if we had been given someone else's order or sent food from the wrong restaurant. But no--this was Bruno's. The same Bruno's people are apparently losing their minds over. What's most insulting is that someone saw these pizzas, knew they were overcooked, and sent them out anyway. Charging full price for food this bad feels deceptive at best. When you compare what we received to the photos other reviewers have posted, it honestly feels like a bait-and-switch. Never again. I'll happily drive to Pasta Mista in Towson from now on--the only place around here that seems to understand what pizza is actually supposed to be. read more

Tried them out for the first time tonight. Hubby wanted a cheesesteak and i wanted pizza. The chicken Parmesan pizza is phenomenal! Very unique and has excellent flavor. Even the crust was delicious. Cheesesteak very good as well. This is a to-go restaurant only and the staff are nice. read more

Amazing pasta, pizza, and sandwiches - seriously can't go wrong. Maybe the best lasagna I've ever had. The owner is also a great guy.

We took my annual birthday trip to Valley View and worked up an appetite. I was craving pizza so I checked yelp to see what was nearby. Brunos was less than a mile away and their menu boasted many delicious sounding pizzas. I was pretty excited. Unfortunately there was only one tiny table inside. This would have worked for us, but the man behind the counter insisted that they were carry-out only. I've been to many carry-out pizza places, and they also usually have a table or two. I have never been told that I couldn't use those tables. Why have them if they're not for use? I was confused and disappointed, as we're the people I was with... we left to find a more hospitable place. read more

Friendly service and delicious wings and pizza. The staff is friendly, there's ample parking and the waiting area is very quaint. As an aside, I like my wings crispy so, before driving away I vent them by opening the packaging to keep them from sweating. That aside, I'd still rate Bruno's a solid ten. read more

Was in the area and stopped in for some takeout with the wifey. Pleasantly surprised! The place was spotless and the person at the front counter was an angel. She deserves a raise! Gave us so many recommendations and everything was delicious! Ended up getting a 16" pizza with sausage, peppers, and onions and split the cheesy bread sticks appetizer. 10/10! We have lived in the area for a few years now and had tried most of the places that sell cheesesteaks. All fell short of being great. Bruno's has the best cheesesteaks hands down. We are hooked and keep coming back again and again. Great staff as well. They are very welcoming and actually seem to care about having your business. The owner is also really good with customers. Everything is fresh and delicious! Next time you are in the mood for a cheesesteak, you have to give them a try. I doubt you will be disappointed. read more

For several decades I've haunted pizza places along the 45. York Rd. Name the place and I've been there. Including joints that no longer exist: Kosmakos, Pizza Palace, Shakey's, Pappy's, Village Sub, Angelo's, Pisa, Deano's and even Towson Delly North when it was at Cranbrook. Enter Bruno's. Opened as IG to little acclaim considering the anchor has been pleasing Towsonites for decades. I've read reviews for Bruno's on this platform for a good while and last night I bit. I stopped by after a visit to my happy place a few blocks north. I decided immediately I was going to go for a 20" pizza. I believe the largest pie elsewhere is 18". And I'm not referring to Costco although their pies are 18". I ordered the Meat Lovers courtesy of the very friendly lady at the counter. She did say it would take about 20 minutes to prepare. No problem. After 20 minutes, the lady walked from the back and handed the pie to me. Who does that anymore? That's a special touch. Getting home I saw "abbodanza" that would make Mama Celeste blush. The toppings of cheese and assortment of meats were dense and bountiful. My son's eyeballs nearly popped from his head when he saw the 20" box! And, this pie was among the best I've had in years! And leftovers will be handled over a few days. For $22.99 plus tax and tip, this deal is unbelievable. What's next for me from Bruno's? Cheesesteak! Can't wait. And you shouldn't either. My new favorite pizza spot. Too bad it's not down the street or else I'd be there every week. They have a couple of tables and chairs inside but this is a takeout joint located in a shopping center on a busy section of York Road in Cockeysville. The cashier was really nice and let me customize my order without umbrage. I had the meat lovers pie and substituted mushrooms for ham. The presentation was artistic. Meat was piled high as if it came from Queens or Brooklyn although the crust is certainly not New York style. Of course, I copped the garlic knots. Could use more garlic in my opinion but still a worthy addition. Even the buffalo wings were superior. Glad to add this establishment to my bookmarks. read more

Really have enjoyed Brunos since we moved to the Cockeysville area. The restaurant has changed ownership since we've lived in the area and the food has gotten even better. Great pizza, stromboli's and a variety of other options like salads and pasta meals. Definitely more of a take out location but great for something other than the regular chain options. read more

It's such a nice little shop, so clean inside and the owner is so nice and a great conversation. We chatted the whole time I waited for my order and I didn't even realize the time went by. It's hard to find good pizza places that are as perfect as NYC. This place hits the nail on the head. I haven't had a chicken Parmesan hero like this in years. Fresh cheese that actually melts, perfectly tender chicken that's not over cooked, the sauce is absolutely perfect too. The eggplant parm sub and onion rings were perfect. Not too oily, not salty, not way too much cheese (just right for me), no bitterness, and some sort of smooth wine marinara. If he puts this sauce on his pizza when I'm in town again and try that next, I'll be a happy camper. If you're on the fence about trying this place, recommend giving it a try. Friendly, too. After reading the positive reviews on here, I figured that I would give this place a try. I ordered the "The Works" pizza which had banana peppers, sausage, pepperoni, onions and fresh mushrooms as the toppings. What a disappointment this pizza turned out to be. I grabbed my first slice and it was so soggy in the center that the toppings began to fall off into the box. I would rather get pizza from Dominoes or PapaJohns than this place. The pizza overall was super oily, soggy and a bit salty. Maybe the other items on their menu are better prepared but the pizza is definitely not worth it, unfortunately. read more

Saw a lot of buzz on Next Door and Facebook about their subs and Pizza. I went to their website and looked at the pictures and decided to order two cheesesteak subs and a large "works" pizza . What I opened up upon arrival at home looked NOTHING like their website pictures--the loaded cheesesteak sub had barely visible meat and the pizza was overcooked. Bruno's is the real deal Pizza sub shop. All the food is so fresh and his ingredients is imported from Italy. It is the real deal. The Italian cold cut is not a joke. It's for real the pizza the cheesesteak with so many other food options all the food is made fresh by professionally train chef and you can tell it . 4.5 stars. For a carry out, the pizza was super. Not the ordinary carry out cardboard but crust with just the right chew and just the right air bubbles to give you added crisp. I got a pepperoni & mushroom and got plenty of each. Wasn't greasy (NO dabbing sitting oil). The fresh mushrooms may have been put on midway, because they curled up dry and caramelized all across the pizza (instead of just lying flat, swimming in cheese), which I appreciated. No seating for dine in, but they appear to have slices for sale at lunch, though they're not out on display. I am definitely picking up here when in the neighborhood again. read more

I'm very glad I found Bruno's! I've been trying every category, partly because it says they make their own dough for the pizza and pastas, so this is combining a few visits, and I enjoyed the majority. The storefront is neat and clean and employees have always been friendly and even if I don't ask will check in the back and come back to give me an ETA if I'm waiting. The cheesesteak stromboli was hearty and tasted very good, and the Spinach Ricotta and Greek specialty pizzas were both excellent. The salami topping was meaty, decent size pieces. I was impressed the burger wasn't a smash burger, but thick enough it truly was medium rare like I asked and had good flavor, though there was a confusion as I ordered online and the description included lettuce, tomato, mayo and american cheese, so I thought those were automatic unless removed, and apparently not, I got american cheese but no toppings but the pepper relish I added, which was a good mildly spicy condiment spread over the bun. The fries were tasteless and I prefer battered mozzarella sticks instead of this crumb-coating. The inside of the eggplant parmesan sub were very good, I definitely want to try the eggplant parm pizza, but unfortunately the sub roll was dense and bland. The alfredo fettuccine was good and was an enormous portion. The pizzas were definitely the stars and I'm going back for more. read more

This place opened up mid-pandemic and somehow their delicious food and wonderful service flys under the radar. I highly recommend trying this place out for any of your pizza and comfort food cravings. The prices are a lot cheaper than other highly inflated places and its WORTH IT! The staff are extremely kind and welcoming. The food was hot, fresh, and smells so good. I do a pick up order each time and it's usually ready within 20-30 minutes. This place is right across the street from a doctor I see, but I've never noticed it. My husband wanted pizza for dinner, but I didn't want to drive too far out of the route home. I used Yelp to order ahead, and the food was ready when I arrived. I honestly didn't have great expectations for it, but I was amazed! It was delicious! They have done interesting combinations and meals. I had a vegetarian white pizza and he ate a lot of it too. He's usually not into white pizza. I can't remember what he had...maybe a Stromboli? Despite what the locals say, Baltimore doesn't have great pizza. Every neighborhood has a Yelp-reviewed five-star joint the neighbors rave about, but that's only real selling point is convenience. Bruno's, however, has me reconsidering. I usually wait for friends passing through NYC to bring me a pie, but I gave Bruno's a shot. It ticks all the boxes, including the critical "still good cold for breakfast the next morning" category, critical for a place that sells 20" colossal pies--ones even a fat-ass like me struggles to finish in two days, though at a price that still makes it a good deal. This is as close as Baltimore gets to the best pizza in the country. It's great and, even if the location isn't convenient, it's worth the drive. read more

Living in New Jersey my whole life it's been hard to find a decent place that sells pizza that is actually good. I don't particularly like wood or coal fired Pizza or expensive artisan pizzas. So I was very surprised when I stumbled upon Bruno's Pizza. This is a fantastic Carry tucked away in a small strip shopping center. The pizza is fantastic. I haven't had a bad pie (That's right we coal pizza a "pie"). Crispy thin crust, tasty sauce and cheese perfect cooked. Priced right and I usually go and pick it so I'm not paying the leaches at these 3rd services a dime. Try it out you won't be disappointed. Local, not a chain. read more
