After running around the area looking for a place to dine for lunch, we stopped in here. We were greeted immediately and asked where would like to sit. He asked if a table or booth would be suitable, we asked for a booth. Once seated, we looked over the menus. Not even a whole minute went before our server greeted us and asked what would like to drink. I asked for water with lemon, and hubby had ginger ale. While our server went to put our drinks in, we were given bread and olive oil to enjoy. For lunch we decided to order the lunch trio (a good affordable meal) you get a choice of a small plate item, salad, and soup. I had the chicken soup with the Caesar salad and Alfredo, while hubby had the Lentil soup, Italian salad, and the meatballs. Both our soups and salads came out together, which I would have preferred to be brought out separately. By the time we started eating our small plate dishes came out. I'm back with another monthly review! This month of August featured the theme: "Sip Around the World " with wines from New Zealand, Tuscany and California. Me and my bestie come here just about every month for the monthly wine dinner. Each month has a different theme featuring either a 4 or 5 course meal with wines or spirits. The staff is always friendly and pleasant and the service is great. I highly recommend checking out any month of your choice and they usually feature 2 dates a month. The best part is that you can even order a take home meal for 10 bucks more and a bottle of wine for the featured price. I always have leftovers for lunch and dinner for the next day. Let me tell you, I was disappointed that I arrived just after 6 pm and missed happy hour. Then I ordered a blackberry sangria anyway and was told it was only $6 because today was Tuesday! Wut??? Two, please! You will be shocked to hear that I ordered the usual: Fettuccine Weesie with Shrimp. This dish is sooooo delicious and makes for an even better leftover lunch the next day. Carrabba's was having their $10 take home offer, so I left with a Linguine Positano with Shrimp which made three meals. Taking my guy on a first time experience at one of my fav restaurants! We had front row seats at the bar and service was great! The lighting is always appropriate and subtle. We were able to sample a few spirits before purchase, met a lovely gentleman that was a regular at the location and the night ended with great convo and full bellies!! I love me some pasta, and Carrabba's is one of my go to spots for it. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon after church. This location is in the same building as the Outback Steakhouse. You have to go to the left to get to Carrabba's. Once we entered the hostess seated us. The restaurant was notably clean. I couldn't get over how well organized everything was including the bathroom. I ordered a peach sangria, the sausage and lentil soup and the chicken and shrimp carbonara. The drink was tasty. I'm not even big on soup but surprisingly I enjoyed the soup. The pasta was a nice portion and tasty. I mean you can never go wrong with a protein combo. Overall good experience and I will return. read more

Little did we know we were in for a truly amazing experience made possible by the welcoming ambiance and, most importantly, by our server Jackie! She was absolutely incredible! From the moment we sat down, Jackie's friendly and attentive service made us feel truly special. She went above and beyond to make sure we and the kids had everything we needed, even before we asked. No glass was left empty! What really made Jackie stand out was her genuine desire to make us feel welcome and valued. Her warm smile and engaging conversation made us feel like friends, not just customers. Again, the service we received was nothing short of exceptional; my children even want to come back to see "Mrs. Jackie" as they call her! Jackie's attention to detail and commitment to excellence made our visit unforgettable. Took the kids to lunch after a practice today. The place was pretty slow and they had no hostess so getting seated took a little while. Server 4/5 he was pretty attentive and friendly Food we ordered a Pollo Maria with sautéed broccoli, grilled wings, and a kids cheese ravioli. Overall I would give the food a 3/5. The best things were the grilled wings and the chicken soup that came with the Pollo Maria. Shrinkflation has really hit Carraba's. The Pollo Maria was very small for $24 and change. It looked like the size of 2 chicken tenders and a small side of the broccoli which was tasteless and mushy. Overall I would prob not bring the family back for dinner or lunch very often as there were not any lunch options and the entrees are very pricey for the amount of food provided. The food is delicious. the service once you get seated is amazing. The ambiance is clean and makes it look like an Italian restaurant. The reason why it's not a 5 star review is the last time my boyfriend and I went there always seems to be a line out the door when it's wine and dine night and I understand waiting for a table. But while waiting for our table there were people who were waiting for a table and the gentleman who was waiting for a table was on his phone the entire time in the lobby waiting for his table. I also believe in there's a time and place to be on the phone. A restaurant is not one of those places. In the car driving to the restaurant and at your house are better places to have a conversation on your cell phone. Also, I love when you have your wine and dine dinners but you do think maybe you could have them once a month? read more

Often come to the Carrabbas here for some good food and drinks. My usual go to drink is the blackberry sangria but this time I got a holiday drink Merry Berry Martini. I love coming here for the steak. The ribeye is the best ribeye I've had-even at fancier places that costs more-plus the price is a great deal for it. The grill is fantastic, the cooks are great at their job! So amazing!! The waiter we had, Derrell, was fantastic too! He was pleasant and was on top of everything. Even though it was a little busy, he made sure he was getting everything taken care of and what we needed. Derrell is the waiter to have when coming here! Carrabba's is always a good idea when you want Italian but you're Olive Garden-ed out. The warm bread and dipping oil with herbs never misses. One day, I'll just go solo, sit at the bar with a bottle of wine, and endless bread and dipping oil. The kids meals leave much to be desired but we always forget to fill the kids bellies before we visit (parent hack) so we waste $12 for our kids to fill up on fries and apple juice. My husband ordered the Fettuccine Weesie (SO GOOD!) and I ordered the shrimp and scallop fettuccini with vodka cause. The scallops were bland and I only got 4-5 shrimp. First or was so cold. For whatever reason they had the door open. It's 35 degrees outside. From our booth was a constant draft of really cold air making it so hard to enjoy the evening. Second, we ordered the breadstick tower. The breadsticks could have been toasted more but even more disappointing was we were JUST at the Ellicott City location last week and the tower had mozzarella sticks. This location didn't have them. The waiter didn't know what we were talking about. We only ordered it because we had it a week ago and it came with mozzarella sticks. So really disappointed in that. If we just wanted bread we would have stuck with the free bread and just asked for marinara sauce on the side Thankfully, after showing the manager pictures from online to prove we weren't crazy, she explained sometimes they test items at select restaurants. By far one of the BEST experiences I have had in a restaurant. Our server, Brenna, was one the best servers I have come across in the DMV area in quite some time. Her professionalism, product knowledge, effervescent personality and willingness to listen and make suggestions was far above and beyond what most people in the service industry offer. Brenna knew about every dish i asked about. There was one thing she wasn't sure about but told me she'd find out and let me know. Of course, she came back with answer and all was right in the world... lol. We opted to try the following appetizers: 1) Calamari - OMG! This was so good! And the dipping sauce was the perfect accompaniment. The fresh squeeze of lemon was also a very welcomed addition. 2) Meatballs & Ricotta - simple flavorful dish with nubs of ricotta to help make the pasta and that perfect marinara sauce marry so well with the meatballs. And of course we had the bread... OMG, the bread! You know, it's not that the bread is so stellar as much as it is, that the EVOO/seasoning mix they give can take ANYTHING to the next level - and it most assuredly did. Okay - that's the apps. I had the pleasure of selecting the 'Salmon Certriolini' - Wood-grilled and topped with diced tomato, cucumber and dill a lemon white wine sauce. So dayum good! I mean, I LOVE salmon so its' hard to disappoint me but this salmon was cooked perfectly. So impressed. My dining companion opted for the 'Fettuccini Carrabba' - Fettuccine Alfredo with wood-grilled chicken, sautéed mushrooms and peas and was also quite pleased. as my main course. We had the perfect blends of Arnold Palmers with our meal lastly, finished things off with a simple 'Strawberry Cheesecake' - Creamy New York-style cheesecake topped with our strawberry puree. Veal piccata was thin and over cooked with slight creamy piccata and maybe 4 capers. Husband pasta dish was lots of pasta with very little sauce and shrimp were suspect. Asked for side dish of broccoli to be sautéed in garlic butter and waiter said they couldn't do it (not a crowded room). Got a side of partially melted butter! Waited a long time to get the check. I attended the July wine dinner in Hunt Valley on the 24th with 14 friends. Omar, manager/owner, enthusiastically hosted the event and kept everyone informed of the timetable, food, and wine choices. He advised it was the largest turnout in recent years. The food was wonderful, the wine among the best choices I've had at these events, and the service was great. Everyone had a great time, and my sincerest thanks to Omar and the Carrabba's staff/waitresses/bartenders/dishwashers!! There were a lot of wine glasses!! Drove 5 hrs and stopped in for dinner. Was told 30 min wait for table but no wait at the bar. I was with my soon to be 22 yr old daughter as she goes to college nearby and we've been there MANY times before. We were denied FOOD service (not alcohol - we didn't want alcohol) because my daughter's out-of-state CT ID is vertical - again - she is turning 22 in 4 mos. We didn't want drinks only dinner after 5 hrs of driving. THERE IS NO LAW AGAINST IT. It's at the discretion of management. We were still denied and embarrassed. I just wish that he had realized that some people are super sensitive to perfumes and colognes. One of them being me. He reeked of something that attacked my sinuses like gangbusters. It made me miserable for the rest of the day. It's not his fault I have sensitivity issues, but I'm sure I'm not the only one.
