Stopped on our way back to act from HH and it was good! They had an autumn salad special that was very good-romaine,butternut squash,candied pecans,cranberries and goat cheese with a grilled chicken breast/ very good. Y husband got the Cuban and that was also good- pulled pork either great flavor, very juicy either way delicious ham -I'm Cuban and I loved it! I've been wanting to try this place out for years but haven't until yesterday. My Son and I met up there for dinner before he had to head back to Charlotte. I chose here because the menu is versatile and I really dig the location especially with outdoor seating and it's different than the typical restaurants in Lumberton. The food was great and fresh. Where are the tomatoes and red onion? Granted only the romaine, olives and feta were listed on the menu but come on, you can do better. Margarita flatbread: it was like a child's pizza that fit in a square styrofoam to go. The crust wasn't crisp at all. The balsamic glaze was nice but other than that, not much flavor. read more

We found this Diamond of a restaurant through googling restaurants near our hotel. Never had such a wonderful experience at a restaurant. We ate at the bar and spoke with everyone from the owners Phillip and Annette Wallwork to the chef, sous chef and staff, Rebecca and Tracy. The food was delicious. We had the special which turned out to be Annette's secret recipe for lasagna. This establishment is not just a restaurant but a place for local artists to display and sell their work. Annette is an artist and her pieces and paintings are amazing. If we lived closer, it would be our "go to" restaurant every week if not more often. My family of four stopped in for a break from a lengthy road trip. Boy, did we luck out! The wine selection was great. The Spinach Dip was delicious. The broccoli potato soup was piping hot and clearly fresh. Even our kids loved it! The rest of our meal was equally enjoyable. The only thing to eclipse the quality of the food was the quality of service. Despite clearly being travelers, the staff made us feel as welcome as any local. Very cute restaurant and bar with very good wait staff. Would have given a higher rating but the simple meal we had nearly took an hour to prepare ( the house special, 3 tacos or a quesadilla ). Im not a Karen but here we go. Probably the worst service I've ever had. Hour and a half for a chicken salad Sandwich and a sub par flat bread that we had to get to go due to the wait. Things happen I get that maybe our ticket was lost but no apology, no check in or really no attempt at excuse left me puzzled. Food was reasonably priced but $16 for a cocktail in lumberton, nc. It's like they googled Miami Beach prices. Even with sub par service I give the benefit of the doubt but this was one of the worst experiences I've had. Go elsewhere would be my advice. read more

Amazing little place! Stopped in for a meal on a business trip and it was the best food I have had in a long time. The fettuccini Alfredo is the best Alfredo I have ever tasted. We stopped in with a family of 5 on a Friday night, but they were able to fit us in in the back room. The kids helped devour a large charcuterie platter with a nice selection of cheese and meats. Was looking for a hidden gem in this little town. Found it!! A unique atmosphere with a very friendly staff. The owners even stopped by our table to thank us for coming by. The broccoli, potato, and cheese soup was amazing. They make their own French dressing and that was perfect on my side salad. I enjoyed the homemade lasagna! Delicious! A great place to get off the busy interstate and relax over a delicious, made from scratch, meal. The service is excellent, and the decor displays walls full of art. Absolutely thrilled to have found this place! Road tripping from GA to see some friends in NC, my sister and I stumbled upon this fantastic place on Yelp. You know it as soon as you drive up, plenty of parking and you can see people dining in through the windows. Very relaxed and hospitable atmosphere, almost everyone was in a great mood, even celebrating, which was so fun to get off the road and be immersed in. The food and drinks were delicious and all very reasonably priced. They had a few more high end options for bottles as well as some local taps from Asheville which I am always happy to see. I wish I had taken photos but we tried a club sandwich and a small charcuterie board, the food came out incredibly fast and was perfect to close out our drive.
