I appreciated their friendly service and they serve unique flavors on a rotating basis. I ended up ordering a small cup of the graham central station. The ice cream tastes good but it was served almost melted. I also visited the location in Johns Creek and the ice cream was also soft. Hubs and I have been craving ice cream because our freezer has been broken - go figure. It's also been pretty chilly so we were not anticipating a crowd. Needless to say we were the only ones there so we were in and out in no time. There are walk up counters to place your order/pay and plenty of seating with large umbrellas. It was night time so we opted to eat in our car. Hubs went with a small cup (two scoops) of Oreo ice cream ($4.16). I am told it was perfectly creamy and loaded with Oreos. I called ahead to ask about the vegan ice cream flavors available and was given a long list. Unfortunately, however, I realized only one flavor was actually vegan ice cream - the rest were sorbets which I do not particularly care for. So I did not end up ordering anything. We came here after dinner, because (surprise, surprise) my daughter wanted ice cream. It was dark and cold, and I couldn't think of eating ice cream. That is, until I was warmed up in the car, and started eyeing her cotton candy explosion. After some begging, she let me have a couple bites of her waffle cone. Wow, that cotton candy rocks! It was creamy and had Poprocks in it! I haven't had those in ages. Delicious! The waffle cone was sweet and crispy just the way I like it. My daughter, on the other hand, said she actually preferred the (to me) boring orange sherbet she'd had here. Say what? I can buy that at Publix, and save a ton of money versus coming here for a scoop of sherbet. What else do they have besides waffle cones? Cake cones, sundaes, banana splits, shakes, cakes, and pies. They also offer blasts, which if you've ever been to TCBY is their version of the shiver. It's a mix of candies, etc in an ice cream base that's mixed throughout. They now even offer cereal options to throw in the mix. Ewww. If you're trying to be healthier, go for the sorbets or Italian ice. Whatever you decide, put it in a waffle cone. Lousy ice cream and service. I've been buying 1/2 gallons of vanilla from Bruster's for about a year and until now got consistent results. It always tasted great and the tubs were always filled. This location, though, sucks. teenagers working here that left about an inch of the tub empty. When I asked about it I got stupid looks from both of them, so apparently this normal. When I got home my wife immediately said that it didn't taste right. We tried it again a few more times until finally concluding that it did not have as much flavor as usual. I can only surmise that, since they make it in-house every day, they cut corners on the ingredients. read more

I don't even know where to begin with all my feelings about my latest visit to this location. (5-22-15) My MOMS Club chapter wanted to plan something fun to kick off summer and celebrate the last day of school. We planned to arrive at 3:30, which wasn't a bad time, but the moms that arrived a little early were surprised by how crazy busy it was. By the time I arrived at 3:40, it was fine. Anyway... We had a small wait at the counter, and when it was my turn, the girl behind the counter was not pleasant at all. In fact, I'd like to say she was a rude (insert choice swear word here). We placed our order and had a small wait while they made everything. The lady at the window next to me was just receiving her ice cream and she let the guy know that she did not order what he handed her. He argued with her, then aggressively snatched the wrong cone from her. What happened next, was shocking. He opened the ice cream cooler that it came from, dumped the ice cream in it, then, I'm not kidding, threw the used cone AT ME. He said he was aiming for the garbage, but clearly missed it as it came flying out the window at me. Did he say sorry? Not even once. Once all our ice cream came out, I asked for a large water and the girl rolled her eyes at me. Seriously?!? Before we left, one of my mom friends went to ask for ice water and was met with attitude from the same girl. Look, I get it's stressful when a ton of people come for ice cream, but guess what? Without customers, you lose your business. I find Bruster's to be a little over-priced as it is, but we've contributed to go because it's been a fun experience. Not only will I never come back, but as the President of my MOMS Club chapter, we will never plan an outing here again. We'll go to BR or DQ or even McDonald's or Chick fil A or Wendy's, before we plan another event at this location. I'm so incredibly disappointed with how terrible the employees are at this location. If I were the manager, I'd be looking for a new crew ASAP. read more

I took my son here the other day to celebrate summer. I hadn't been here yet, but kept driving by. With Jeni's Splendid at Avalon that everyone raves about (and is very good), I put off trying Bruster's for awhile. But after a day of swimming followed by burgers, Bruster's just seemed like the right choice that day. We were not disappointed. Classic flavors, tasty and generous portions. My son had chocolate in a dish and I had Ming chocolate chip in a waffle cone. I think this will now be our go-to ice cream joint for the summer. read more

I give them a 2 as they do have some of the best ice cream anywhere. We used to go 2 or 3 times a month. I'm not sure about all locations, but this one has gotten so stingy on their portions/scoops we no longer go. When getting a regular cake cone, you get one scoop sitting on top. There is no ice cream in the cone. This is definitely not worth the price of $3.24. Very disappointing. read more

The cotton candy & peach flavors are totally the bomb! The cotton candy has these yummy candy rock thingies that are like yummy surprises! And I know how much you love yummy surprises :D! Especially in your mouth! MUAHAH. Anyways, the peach is a refreshing flavor! And I mean, if you are in Georgia, you gotta try the peaches in some form...right? My tip: Buy the pint! Brusters in one of my favorite ice cream places. Great quality and good price. However, I was very disappointed yesterday when I came to the Old Milton location and ordered 1 scoop and got what looked like two heaping table spoons. You had to literally look inside the cup to find the ice cream. Very disappointed. The young lady who served me had to ask my order a few times. Granted I was ordering three ice creams but why not write it down? I am giving it 3 stars today only because we came back and the service was much better although the line was extremely long because there were two employees only. Milton highway location charges for full scoops but when we received our orders the scoops were only half the expected amounts. This has happened multiple times so it was not an isolated incident. I have been going to this location for years. Today I had the worst experience. The ice cream that I ordered was not made properly. They didn't have pecans, the girl didn't put a cherry on the sundae, asked if I wanted a bag eventhough I had multiple items in the order. She was totally lost. Also, the canopy lights were all out. People had to use their cell phone lights to read the menu. Overall, a horrible experience. I will have to consider going some place else. read more

Arrived at 9:40. Waited 20 minutes and finally got to the window while I am the only person in line now and was told I would not be served because they are now close at 10:00. As I stated I had been waiting for 20 minutes in line to be asked what I wanted they did not care at all and slammed the window shut. I will never come back if you have that big of a problem serving a paying customer who had waited for 20 minutes. I would understand if I had just walked up and they said they were closed. But I waited for 20 minutes. So make sure you get there at least at 9:00 that way if you have to wait in line for 20-30 minutes at least you will be served. Will never go here. read more

We thought we would try this location one more time and that was a mistake! Our banana splits had the smallest amount pf ice-cream that i could barely tell there was any! The banana was not fresh and all i basically got was Carmel and chocolate syrup. Awful and not worth my money. Not to mention in the 20 minutes i was there i saw at least 3 heath code violations.
