I had always seen the long lines that spanned from the front door at Jeni's and knew my expectations would be high when I was finally able to try it out for myself. This place far exceeded my expectations. The smell upon entering was so sweet and had my taste buds going crazy. As I saw other patrons getting their ice cream (single/double scoops, etc.) I knew a kid sized scoop would be satisfactory for me. It was a great single serve size and the Cherry flavor I chose was top tier. The interior is quite small - a decent amount of room to allow patrons to get their scoops and go. There is some bar seating inside for smaller groups to be seated, but the large seating area can be found outside. This was a delicious dessert after dinner nearby. The line was long so we knew it was going to be good. Highly recommended by the Georgians in the group. The location is quite small so you're fighting to get inside the store and out of the cold. If the line doesn't wrap properly you may be scolded by the employees but it's a fire safety thing so I get it. You can sample the ice cream as you go. I wanted to get a limited time flavor so I went with a scoop with the Blackout Chocolate Cake and White Chocolate Peppermint which is basically the Peppermint Bark special but without the waffle cone. The taste was as close as you can get to Peppermint Bark. Not much space to sit inside so we ate outside at the fireplace. It can get crowded quick but luckily a family was nice enough to take one bench so our group could also share the warmth at the fire. I would definitely come back here in the future. read more

I was down visiting my family and a relatives told me that this place has the best ice cream! Clearly that was not a lie as we stepped up. The line was out of the door. It took us a moment to compose ourselves and make a decision. Do we want to wait or no? The answer was yes go ahead and wait! We waited it out and it was totally worth it. We tried to give this place a fair shot, which is why we went about 3 times in the same month to try as many flavors as possible to review fairly given the many positive reviews. This must be a local favorite because we do not understand the hype at all, after trying just about all flavors only one was almost worth going back and that's the lemon blueberry I believe is the combo. It was the only one that actually had flavor- we don't usually gravitate toward citrus flavored ice cream. The strawberry shortcake parfait was the best thing there & it was due to the strawberry sauce, not the ice cream. The worst flavor is the banana cream pudding which is dairy free; they use imitation banana favoring, not real banana and the ice cream is a disgrace, the audacity to even call it banana cream pudding is WILD. We recently found Antico has a little gelato bar & this will be our go to cold treat going forward. It's a little pricier per scoop, but definitely worth it flavor & size wise. read more

I don't think I've ever walked past this Jeni's and there not be a wrapping line outside the door. The store itself is very small, but there's a good amount of seating and swings outside. We got the signature with 3 half scoops and I tried the new double dough flavor, darkest chocolate & my favorite of all time- salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks.
