If you're not white, Bryce is not your place for boat service or repair. They do respect minorities and will bench your job to put others ahead of your boat. So if you are white then Bryce is a fine "impeccable" establishment. I'm sure that they'll get your boat worked on right away. If you are brown you get slow rolled and delayed. I dropped mine off just to have the impeller replaced and live well pumps replaced. The problem Renee listed, "Won't start" which it did, it just needed a new impeller. That was back in May 2025. To her credit, Renee said it would be about 3 weeks before they could get to it. I figured okay it's not drive worthy, so why not. By the magic of time travel, those three weeks turned into 6 weeks with no call back. Then comes August so g'bye May, June and July. I get a call saying it won't start and the ESM was bad and they no longer manufact this module that must control the impeller I asked to be replaced +$$. Guys says that'll take about a week to get new one in. G'bye August. "Oh well they don't make those anymore so we can send it off to be repaired" G'Bye September. I get a call in September saying it was ready but obtw, the battery bank charger won't charge the batteries (which was never the problem. (Minn Kota4 bank onboard charger less than 3 years old), "for another $450 to $500 I could go ahead and replace that for ya". It's a Bass boat so it's a essential piece of hardware. So then I'm quoted a final cost for work of $3500. Special Price for an impeller=cooling pump for a boat motor. It's made like thick rubber or silicone spokes like youd see on one of those paddle boats you'd see on the Mississippi Delta. Sucks in the water from above the propeller.An impeller costs about $35 to maybe $100 depending on the boat motor. Live well pumps are from $20 to $50. I needed two replaced. Let's call it $150 to be generous. I'd figure the impeller is the most challenging to replace. Ya got to disconnect the lower and upper units. So I could see that as a high labor charge. So who knew it took 5 months to do a maybe $200 job that should take a week at best? Oh I know why. I missed it! The ECU repair conservatively cost $1500. For my motor they're $500. That math doesn't math up to $3500 with $120 per part installation. The wonderful journey from impeller to ECU at Bryce Marine certainly Making America Great Again. And another aside, How the hell do I go from a 3 foot coiled trailer wire to truck, to an over 6 foot connection cable over this extended stay at Bryce Marine? read more

When the manufacturer lowered their prices shortly after we purchased ours, Mike went the extra mile for us and was able to get the manufacturer to honor the price cut and give us a refund. Scam artist, Bad Services, Failed to repairs as agreed, Dishonest mechanic, liars and crooks!!! Stay away from them! Bought a brand new outboard motor installed my used boat. Took boat home learned outboard wasn't installed properly took them back twice!! They said can't fix it. These people are absolute scum bags. I was overcharged for work I did not ask for. The manager explained that my boat was old and hard to work on... that he needed to recoup the cost of labor somewhere. So I was charged for work I did not request... and at a ridiculous rate. They do not have any regard for their customer. They are only concerned with themselves. Stay away. read more

Against my better judgement, we stopped in because we needed work done on our boat. We wanted to make sure they would take it. The lady at the desk said it would be a long wait to get it back, but they could take it. We didn't bring the boat with us just then because we wanted to make sure we could get in. We brought it back the next day and the mechanic came out and was a total jerk. As of September 9, they arent taking anymore boats for repair. But they could winterize and wrap it for us. Why would I winterize and wrap a boat that needs work? The mechanic told my husband to "tinker with it in the driveway". I guess Bryce is doing so well they don't need our money. This is our first boat large enough where we need a reliable mechanic and end of season services. Bryce's reputation (even under new ownership) proceeds them. Just like my dad declared many years ago after a similar experience, we will never be back. read more

I do not generally write reviews, but I felt like I needed to for this one. I had work done on my Seadoo at the end of the season last year. I immediately had it stored after picking it up and being told by them it was all fixed and in good condition. When I went to launch it for the first time since it was fixed it would not start. The display would turn on but said it was limp mode. The obvious thing to do was to call Bryce as they were the ones who last touched the engine (they replaced the IBR). I discussed with them what was happening and I was told to bring it in so they could make sure it was not the IBR. I dropped it off and within 45 minutes of dropping it off they called me and said all that was wrong was a dead battery. They said said it was going to be about $280 for this. As you could imagine I was very shocked as anyone can change a battery and they are not that expensive. I questioned the gentleman about the price and he laughed. He said they charge a one hour service fee no matter what. Keep in mind the only reason I went there was because they touched it last and I wanted to make sure it was not an issue with what they did. I said I have never heard of a service fee like this and they should have verbally told me this. I know they make you sign a form when you get there but honestly I have no idea what it even says. What they do not realize is my family owns a very respected marina on a Lake to far to drive too and we have been in business for over 35 years and do not charge such fees as that. Nor is our regular fee $110 an hour! That is just crazy. I would be hesitant about being a female and going alone to this business as they will speak down to you. I had my boyfriend pick up the jetski as I felt they would treat him with more respect. He said it was a terrible experience and the new owner was rude. Any other marina (who are actually on the water) would hands down check a battery first free of charge to see if that was an issue. We refused the battery they put in without asking (also this battery they were charging $160 for which if you did not know you can get at Lowes or anywhere else for significantly cheaper). When we got the bill for the $110 for them to only show the battery needed to be replaced it states the watercraft was "pond tested". To me this means they actually took it off the trailer and tested it. Keep in mind it was 45 minuets from when I walked out of the building to when they called me. The straps and everything were exactly as I left them. So there is no way this was tested in any body of water. Long story short, please be careful and do your research before doing business with them. I would get quotes from other places. I would have done the battery myself but again only went there because they told me they wanted to run it on the computer before I did anything else. We will be doing our business with Sutters from here on out. read more

This spring I visited Bryce to see their vertical boat hoist offerings. They were polite, informative and helpful. I live in Florida but summer in the Finger Lakes. When I returned home, I kept in contact via phone and eventually placed an order for a Craftlander. Throughout the process their service was impeccable. - They committed to and kept to a fair price - They did, what they said they would do - They delivered the hoist kit to my cottage, to the spot at the lake front where I could work on it - They swapped out one type of guideons for another with no extra charge - The product was easy to assemble, had ALL the parts necessary, with none left over - The product was well engineered and sturdy Their Customer Service was fantastic! I am completely disappointed with this business.. they had my boat twice and failed to repair it.( this took four weeks) Finally they gave up and told me to take it somewhere else . I did take it to german brothers who diagnosed and fixed it in a a week . In addition I also found out that warranty work take priority so if a warranty job comes in your boat gets bumped . read more

Bought a new boat and trailer from them and the mechanism on the hitch never worked properly. They refused to accept responsibility for it. Took our jet ski there twice to be repaired. Charged us big and said it was fixed but wasn't. Again refused to accept responsibility. Said it worked right when they dropped it in the pond so it was out problem. I am giving Bryce Marine a 1 star based on the fact that when I called for service on my Tracker Boat that I bought from Bass Pro Shop, I was rudely told by the proprietor: "You didn't buy it from us, go back to Bass Pro Shop". It would have been in their best interest to service my boat as I have upgraded so many things on my boat since then and they could have had that business, but after that remark, will not give them any business. All I did was ask for them to service my boat, nothing more. I am now going to purchase a 9.9 kicker motor, and guess who I am NOT buying it from? Great experience with Bryce. Bought a used boat here, and the service was excellent. After a couple weeks on the water, the trolling motor lost power randomly. Turns out one of the wires under the bow came loose from bouncing around on the water. They fixed the wiring, and secured it so it wouldn't happen again and had me back on the water within a couple hours - I only wish they had a location on the East side! read more
