I asked the proprietor who had become a friend over the years for a recommendation for a good place to take our car in future. He suggested a place called ILTK Auto Repair at 651 Kilani Avenue in Wahiawa. We took the car there expecting to need to leave it there for some hours if not overnight, but the fellow who met us asked us to wait, and within about thirty minutes he had accomplished all three tasks. When I asked what the bill was, he refused payment. Nice, clean and well equipped shop sort of behind the Bank of Hawaii. We expect to be regular patrons.

I was expecting to pay at least a 25 dollar fee, but was able to walk out no charge. I appreciate the honesty. It's nice to know there are shops still around with integrity.
