After searching and searching online I went with a local shop on a whim to fix my car and boy was I glad I did. BTM Motorsports in Morgan Hill is where I took my car after I hit an awful pothole on the way to school with my kids that wiped out my suspension. I get nervous trying new shops because they sometimes run up the bill or are in most of my instances, very unprofessional. This shop was far exceeded every category of customer service and did great work on my car. They used all the right parts and specialize specifically in cars like Mercedes, BMW, etc. Brad is the manager who was superb, and his mechanic Cristian from start to finish made sure my car was again safe for me and my kiddos. Just before Christmas, I had a host of family arriving for the holidays and was counting on our 3-row Audi Q7 to ferry us in comfort and safety through the wet days ahead. Unfortunately our normally reliable steed threw a shoe. Pulling out of our development, we heard a rattle followed by loud clank and immediately pulled over to investigate. We found a large bolt that came out of one of the car's large 6-piston brake calipers. The local South Bay Audi stores did not have an appointment for several weeks and we needed a fast fix. I had been considering finding a trustworthy independent service shop for some time and decided to check out BTM In Morgan Hill. From my first call, I was impressed with Christian. After a conversation to learn what happened, he quickly got me set with an appointment to bring my car in the next morning. I shared photos with him of the bolt that had come out and the brake caliper. I asked him about reinstalling the bolt. I knew I was in good hands when Christian correctly responded that the best practice was not to reuse the bolt that had come out but to replace it. He assured me that a new, factory replacement bolt would be awaiting when I brought the car in for my appointment, and true to his word, it was! Christian took the time to ensure that the caliper threads were not damaged, installed the new bolt, and corrected the issue that led to this in the first place, by making sure that ALL of the caliper bolts on all my brakes were torqued to factory specs. Anyone can turn a wrench, but my experience with Christian and Morgan Hill BTM showed care, passion for their work, and professionalism. I'd trust him to work on my car again. read more

Do NOT go to this place! They will ruin your car and overcharge you. The mechanics here are completely incompetent their OBD scanner doesn't even work on older BMWs. I had to bring my own just to show them what was actually wrong. The owner, Brad, is extremely unprofessional. He even texted my father asking me to remove a bad review I left earlier. I took it down the first time just to be nice, but now it's staying up for good. I went in today for an alignment and found out my control arms were left very loose after they worked on them previously not torqued to spec. Now I have to pay another shop to fix their mistake because I have zero trust in these guys to do it right. My original bad experience was when their scanner couldn't read my car, and instead of diagnosing it correctly, they made me replace every O2 sensor when the real issue was just an ignition coil and spark plug. They also made me replace the oil level reader for no reason I ended up spending thousands on unnecessary work. He's not just expensive, he runs a terrible shop with no accountability. They've even messed up other cars of ours in the past. We only kept going because of mutual friends, but that was a mistake. Brad is a scam artist, plain and simple. There are much better and more honest German mechanics in the area, like Ross in Hollister. Avoid BTM Motorsports unless you want headaches, wasted money, and more problems than you started with. read more

I went to btm years ago to have my car fixed in their San Jose location. After couple of years later I found out they have a location in Morgan hill. I went to their Morgan hill Location and talked to Brad about having my seat change. I told him I saw some seat in eBay selling between $400 to $500 dollars. He said is probably not a good quality because is made from China. When it clearly say made in the USA and the company is in California. He suggested to get it to the place he gets his seat which cost $1k. I agree since I don't know any place who would install it. He charged me $1200. I told him I'll come back to drop the check for down payment. Later that afternoon when I drop the check he changed the price to 1500. He said there's a lot work. So I agreed again and put down payment for $700 so he could order the seats. A week Later he called me to let me know the seats came. When I dropped the car I told him that when I picked up the car, I expect I don't owe him anymore beside the $800. He said I will owe him $800 plus for the seat belts which he never talked about it. I was upset but since I want to have it done I agreed. I asked him how much for an oil change. He look at me and replied "ah ah we are not cheap? If you're looking for a cheap oil change. I was surprised and mad with his comments. I told him I spent almost 2k and you don't think I don't have money? How come you don't know the price for oil change?? He replied coz we do a lot of stuff like check for tire pressure and fluids, etc. (if like the other shops or dealer don't do it) I told brad never mind. He told me I can pick up the car the next day. I got a called at 8pm the same day, that my car is done. I went the next day to picked up the car but this time Brad wasn't there and lady was working that day. She told me I owed another 100 dollars more for the shipping. I got mad and demand to speak to Brad. The lady at front told me he is at the airport at the moment. So she called the manager from the San Jose location and offered me a 200 discount instead. I was mad but glad I got a little discount. I applaud the staff for being professional and helpful. But unfortunately I'm coming back there anymore. Especially dealing with people like Brad the con artist. Don't trust this man. Just want to reply to Brads comment. You're lying and secondly the seat you installed it look cheap and the seat does not adjust forward or backward. I choose not to take it back to get it fix because I don't trust you Brad. read more

I took my 2018 C300 to BTM to diagnose an oil leak and to perform a scheduled service, after receiving poor service at Mercedes of San Jose. Apparently my oil leak came from a loose oil pan plug. I originally scheduled an appointment with them to have my brake pads/rotors replaced for my BMW 3 series as the brake light was on, but by the time they inspected my car it wasn't because of the brake pads/rotors, it was just a faulty sensor (which saved me $$$). I love how they didn't take advantage of just replacing the brake kit to generate sales. Right after they find out that my brakes are in excellent condition. Brad, the owner called me that they will do a diagnostic test and so on. The whole team was so nice especially the owner who himself pickup my car from my workplace because my only free time is weekends as I work during the weekdays so he made this thing possible by having himself pickup and drop-off my car to my workplace.
