I have been going to Auto Solutions for approx 5 yrs. I purchased a Certified 2021 Toyota Tundra. I took it to the Toyota dealership for a vibration noise it was making. After $300 for diagnosis they said they fixed it. I drove it out of the parking lot and I heard the noise again. I called him and let them know and they wanted me to bring it back and I said no thank you. So I took it to Auto Solutions and they found the problem and fixed it. I will review my #Warranty work and see if I can take it to Auto Solutions instead of the Toyota dealership. I am hoping that's the case Auto Solutions' mechanics are fantastic! I have stopped by in the past and asked Cesar to listen to a noise. My vehicles were making, and in some cases he would say that is normal and other cases he would say let's make an appointment for me. I was looking for recommendations for an auto body shop because the Ford dealership has nickel and dimed me for too long. I was having issues with my vehicle shifting hard, thinking I was having transmission issues and Ford store charged me $250 just to look at it... ended up costly me $600 for damn spark plugs. They told me $350 just to recharge my ac. So I came here and I did pay about the same; but I ended up having to have a hose replaced. Ford would have charged me twice the amount for that. I spoke with Amanda 3 months ago to get my truck on schedule. That was wait time I said okay I'll wait. Week before my appointment three months and some change later I get a txt saying they need to push out another month and maybe they can get to me. "To let her know" lol what ? 4 months later and it's still a maybe what happened to my appt 3 months ago obviously as a paying customer I'm being pushed aside for someone else and I had scheduled. I brought my car in for some maintenance and work that was a little beyond my time and knowledge, and they under quoted what another shop had, and they did wonderful work in a respectable amount of time. They also after completing the work asked to keep it over night to verify that the work was done correctly and that the oil leak I had asked them to fix was indeed fixed after their diagnosis and replacement of the leaking gasket. They called me the next day and let me know that everything looked good and was ready to be picked up. I picked it up and wow! Impressed. This is funny, but due to the pandemic work from home situation overlapping with my husband's schedule, I haven't been able to go in and meet the wonderful people at Auto Solutions, but twice I have done the after hours car drop off, putting the keys in through the door slot, once for a fried alternator and the second for a flat tire. Both times they called me quickly the next day to let me know what was up with my car, and then fixed it fast. I paid over the phone and picked it up again after hours. The prices have been great too. It's like having magical car elves! I highly recommended. read more

Can't rave about these guys enough! I worked in the auto industry for 11+ years and have seen how much they will up-sell, fix things that aren't broken and recommend replacements just because you are already planning on fixing something. We purchased a new to us truck and tow a 30ft trailer but the brakes didn't feel right. We told them to check all 4 just to be safe but to our surprise, it's just a new-to-us braking system that we aren't used to and everything is perfectly safe and withing all specifications. NOTHING but FLAWLESS service from Auto Solutions and thankful for their honesty! read more

One great shop that does just about anything you want. Im an east San Jose native, and boy after dealing with shis-tee dealerships this was a golden treasure to find. So i was walking around Safeway one day talking to my son Matthew about our cars how it would nice to find a shop that works on BMW,s to our 53 Chevy vette powered pickup, he nodded his head back (yea right) in this Hick -town he mumbled... Then i herd a child's voice say (my dad)... Auto solutions is my go to shop after relocating to the bay area. I don't even mind driving almost 20 miles out of my way to get there. They won me over after rebuilding the front suspension on my 72 El Camino. I'm very picky who wrenches on my vehicles and I feel safe with them. Since then, I have brought my Honda and my diesel Chevy Cruze to them. A short story of their integrity and honor system... my Honda had a bad CVVT. They could have just replaced it and charged me..but instead, Justin informed me that my particular engine is the Pzev motor and the CVVT is covered by an extended warranty... sure enough, I took it to the Honda dealer and the next day I had it back with $0 due. Excellent morals and mechanical values. As long as I live in the bay area I will continue to give my money to auto solutions. read more

I do believe the other reviews that these are honest mechanics and that they are fixing the right problem in vehicles. My problem (that other reviews have not mentioned) is that they are now charging to diagnose the problem. It is exactly like the dealership does $120 to check out the noise your vehicle is making. When I called to make the appointment for my husbands truck I was never told over the phone that they were charging to diagnose problems now. I had taken my car in a few months back for a rattle in the air-conditioning. When I took it by they said to make an appointment and they would take a look. Come to find out it was a leave stuck and they charged me $60! Wow! I thought I had found my small town mechanic for our vehicles. So when we came back to pick up my husbands truck, they diagnosed the problem as an exhaust leak, they said $120 please? They even had my husband sign a waiver about the $120 during drop-off (which my husband thought I knew about because I made the appointment, but I never would have OK'ed it), so when we complained they said "you signed it." I told them we wouldn't be coming back and keep your $120 because you just lost out on years of business from our vehicles and they said "Ok." I understand they spent time looking at the truck but then as a small business you say we will waive the $120 if you let us fix the truck for the $800 they want. We would have said, sure fix it. Does this make sense to anyone else. So now we spent $120+the $800!! I don't think so - never again! We went next door to Franks and they don't charge to diagnose problems, so we won't be back to Auto Solutions. read more

Honest, respectful and talented. I have a 2007 GMC Texas Special Diesel Duelie with multi issues. Took it to the dealership, two other places. Nobody fixed the problems but they sure charged me. Auto Solutions was the only place that could correctly diagnose and fix both the mechanical and electrical/computer issue. Really reasonable prices. I have been battling with the brakes on my work truck no one could figure this out brought the truck in for brakes they did there thing and it's Ben working great with no issues. As a woman who doesn't know much about cars, I was pleased to be taken seriously, have my concerns heard, and not be given the run around. I was happy to find this absolutely true and had a great experience with my repair. I was in fact correct in my suspicion that the recall repair had damaged something in my car and the staff at Auto Solutions figured it out right away. After weeks of attempting to schedule with my dealership, Auto Solutions was quick to respond and got me in right away. The bill didn't break the bank and the nice man who helped me even gave me advice on how to contact my dealership for a reimbursement. The only downside is they get so busy you usually have to schedule an appointment which can sometimes be 2-3 days out. I'm going to write another great review because they have taken excellent care of all our cars for the past 5 years. We had a timing belt break, wrecked the inside/valves/cylinders a mess. They brought the car back to life when we thought we'd have to just donate it . Another car, my daughter ran over a big plastic thing and wrecked the undercarriage, struts broken, a mess of damage. Again thought the car was totaled and we'd have to just get rid of it -- but they brought it back to life for less than $2k. They do good work. Read the reviews, so many people in Morgan Hill have received excellent service from Auto Solutions same as us. We're glad we hooked up with them and will continue to use them for years to come. Note: some of our cars are foreign and often expensive to fix at the dealership and other places (Audi, Range Rover, Volvo, etc.), Auto Solutions is well trained in repair in these less common, more expensive cars at a lower cost than the dealerships. I trust them with fixing our European, Japanese, and American cars for the whole family. read more

Sometimes people are put places to help - it was a pleasant surprise to find auto Solutions to be one such place. While at a medical appointment at Stanford something happened to my daughter's power mirror causing it to get stuck - making a loud ticking noise and a motor running noise - we couldn't figure out how to get it to stop. As we drove the mirror stopped working/moving and made a louder noise. We found Auto Solutions and took a chance that they could possibly help. We stopped without an appointment and they were happy to look at it for us. 20 minutes later and we were back on the road headed home. They were able to unplug the mirror so we could get home and have it fixed at the dealers the next day. They were very helpful and didn't charge my daughter. We made it home safely and without a concern that a battery of motor was going to burn out or cause other damage. Thank you!!! read more
