This review is only for their alcoholic drinks and view of the lake. We had just enjoyed a great dinner at Lost Creek Grill and wanted to enjoy a couple of drinks outside looking at the lake. Bubba's Brew's fit the bill perfectly. We told our server we had already eaten & just wanted to chill for awhile. We enjoyed a couple Big'uns while watching the water and enjoyed the time immensely. If you have traveled to the hot springs area from out of town with a group larger than 8, do not plan on this being where you go. The waitstaff and hostesses are not friendly. You cannot sit on the patio with a group larger than 8, and cannot sit more than 5 to a table - as you might "damage" the outdoor tables. Also, if you order food and it comes to the table messed up, it is on you to pay for the wrong food & the new meal remade to the correct way you ordered to begin with. At first glance this place is okay, but once we sat down it was 20 mins before someone came to us, I would understand if it was packed but it wasn't. The waitress that we had told us she dropped my straw and the person I was with had two, meaning she put the dropped straw in his drink. She didn't offer to remake the drink nor give me another straw. Once we got our food an hour later, the fish was over battered and undercooked, our waitress was nice but overwhelmed. Went with a group of 6. Waited almost an hour which was expected that's fine we enjoyed drinks on the top deck while we waited and enjoyed the views! The service was awful! Server forgot every sauce we ordered didn't put beer cheese on the sandwich which we asked for my salad came out with my meal (which took another almost an hour) server never came back to see if we wanted another drink and when we asked she said okay but make it quick it's almost last call we're closing.. ( we didn't even have our food yet!!!) they close at 9 we didn't get food until 9:15.. they started closing around us grabbing our caddies and paper towels while we were still eating. The first time I went to Hot Springs, I stopped by Bubba Brew's for dinner. I ate outside overlooking the water. The view was pleasant just before dusk and there were some fireworks in the distance making for an added treat. Bubba Brew's offers a variety of sandwiches cleverly named after sports and athletes. The portion sizes are generous. I almost go their nachos which is a mountain of chips, cheese, and other toppings served on a tray the size of a cookie sheet. I had others with me who could have helped out, but they looked so good, I just couldn't trust myself not to gobble up the whole tray. I very much enjoyed my visit and look forward to another one some day, maybe then I'll order the nachos! :) read more

I love this place it was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful! I ordered the BBQ wings and they were very tasty and good, I also got the onion ring which were delicious just wish they were fried just a little longer. The shrimp, fries and alligator was great loved every bite. The hush puppies weee just a little burnt. The veiw that they had outside was very nice one of my favorite views I've seen at a restaurant. If youre a tourist and you want to sit and drink, maybe this is the place for you. The views are beautiful because it's on the lake. I used to vouch for this place years ago but the last few years I have been. Nothing but disappointment. Servers have bad attitudes, food is slow and mid at best. A lot of bad energy in that place. Like I said, If you want to sit outside and have one drink this is ideal. DON'T go hungry. You'll be waiting a very very long time for some basic fried foods. read more

Got the appetizer of pretzels. They were quite enjoyable. The cheese sauce was good. The honey mustard was yummy with a kick. I got the catfish with fresh homemade onion rings. I was disappointed I only got 4-5 but I couldn't eat them all...they were huge. The hush puppies weren't anything to write about. I'm neutral with them. The catfish was good. I'm always scared to try a new place bc catfish can be muddy tasting but these were really good. My husband got the oysters Little Rock. He enjoyed them as well. In all honesty it was enough to feed 2-3 people. Before I arrived he had gotten a beer. There were 3 little samples on the table he had been given to decide what he wanted. I just want to give a big shout out to this veterinary staff. We are here in Hot springs from Houston. Our 13-year-old dog had a tumor, several tumors and we knew we were going to be putting her down soon. However it happened sooner than we thought today on our last trip with her. We knew when we got back to Houston from Hot springs on Saturday that we would be putting her down. God didn't wait for her. Her tumors were too painful she was completely disoriented and in obvious agony. I called the humane society here in Hot springs area and they told me they did not provide this kind of service but were wonderful enough to point me to countryside vets. I called at 11:30 this morning told them our situation, The wonderful person on the phone, Casey, she spoke to the vet and asked if they could make an appointment for patches today, and they did. We said our goodbyes and the staff was just incredibly patient with us. Obviously they shifted some things around to accommodate our necessities and they did it without any qualms. High five and five stars for this clinic. If you are in need of compassionate care for your pets in the hot springs area, this is the place I would recommend. not only am I going to post this on Yelp, but I am going to post it on Google and in the Arkansas camping Facebook page, everywhere. This staff was just beyond wonderful to us. Thank you all of you again. read more

Great spot, but they are way under staffed and the food is middle of the road. My girlfriend and I left after waiting an hour (which was the wait time told) and they finally called after 1:30 hrs to tell us our table was ready. The tables were only about 30% full, but they no one working in the kitchen or on the floor, so you'll be waiting a long time for food that is just Meh. I try giving them another shot each year hoping it will get better, but the fell flat on their face again this year and it's not even the busy season yet. Good luck Bubba! read more

SERVICE WAS THE WORST!! It took us almost 2 hours in an semi-empty restaurant to be taken care of. When we got our food, we were done within 10-15 minutes because we were so hungry from waiting so long. We waited at least 30-45 minutes before someone even came to our table to get our order. When we got our food, we were asked if we needed anything else and I asked for mayo and mustard. NEVER RECEIVED IT. Want nachos? Don't go anywhere else!! This place has by far some of the best nachos I have ever had. There is enough to honestly feed 4 very hungry adults. Their other food is also amazing. A huge selection of sandwiches and meals that everyone with you will have options. They have delicious drinks and the views of Lake Hamilton are spectacular. We had a very odd experience at this restaurant. We were a group of 14, and they couldn't accommodate us on the (empty) outdoor patio as a group of that size. Understood. However, one member of our party was with two small children and had great concerns about COVID, thus did not want to sit inside to potentially expose his unvaccinated kids. The hostess told us we would not be able to sit separately (11 inside and 3 outside), as we were "together." We explained that we would be on separate checks, so although we knew the secondary table that would be outside, it doesn't matter that we are "together" or not. They said this was not possible, they would not seat the additional three people outside even though there were numerous empty tables, and had we not been "together," they COULD have accommodated a table of three. Since they saw us together, we were not allowed to approach the situation as two separate groups. At this point, our only option was to either put the secondary table into a costume or disguise and to pretend they were strangers...or to leave. We chose to leave. So, while I cannot attest to the food at this establishment, as we never ate, I can attest to their ridiculous, inflexible rules and lack of independent, logical thinking. read more

I never write reviews, but...My wife and I were in town for our daughter's soft ball tournament. We had a pretty large party and the waitress Jayden was attentive and friendly. One of the other mothers ordered a drink that she didn't end up liking at all. We tried getting ahold of Jayden but saw she was busy, so our friend went directly to the bartender who we were sitting right next to. The bartender Emmy was apologetic and so friendly about it and got our friend a different drink that she ended up loving. The food was ok but pretty bland nachos imho. The problem came at the end of the meal when our friend noticed she was charged for both drinks. She requested to speak with the manager. We were all astonished at the manager's behavior and response. She said it was illegal to give out free liquor. But she explained she didn't keep the drink. The manager was absolutely rude and made an easy situation horribly difficult. She then told us that Jayden would have to pay for the drink, walked up to the bar and yelled at both Jayden and the bartender in front of the whole restaurant. We couldn't believe how this woman was handling the issue. We've never seen a restaurant manager so uncooperative and unpleasant. We will not be back here in the future and strongly suggest you take your business somewhere else where they understand what customer service is. read more

We are sorry to say that we cannot give more than 2 stars. This was our first time as we are traveling through Arkansas. My husband asked for his burger to be made medium and he received a well done burger. Okay I know that's not worth of only 2 stars but the nauseating thing was there was a human hair in the burger. He managed to get down half the burger and when I looked down at the other half, the sunlight lit up the hair. It's a good thing my husband didn't eat the hair because he would have thrown it all up. We told the waitress and she saw the hair too. Anyway my husband lost his appetite after that. They did not charge for the hamburger which was the right thing to do. read more
