Got scammed for 1.75 upcharge for cheese on a quesadilla, 1.75 upchage on another quesadilla for mushrooms, and 1.75 for mushrooms on nachos. Place was near empty when we went but trash overflowing. I asked for sour cream and the lady put a scoop and I guess the other lady didn't see there was another scoop in there and decided to put 2 more scoops in there as she was putting another tub of sour cream back in the selection place. And now I just have a bowl full of sour cream that I can not eat.I asked if they could do something to fix it and they said they couldn't so that's just $11 down the drain because i'm lactose intolerant and can't eat a bowl full of sour cream. read more

The food is always good but the cleanliness of the staff makes you wonder about who is cooking your food. Ok burrito place. Not going to win any head to head battles with anything back in Texas (Freebirds) or nationally (Chipotle, Qdoba, etc.), but not bad for Bama. Had the burrito (duh, it has burrito in the name), with chicken, black beans, and rice. Pretty solid chicken, with enough flavor and spices to keep me interested. Rest was just filler. Chips (served on the side for free - nice touch) were pretty much just average. Salsa bar had decent stuff, nothing great but nothing terrible. After my dozens of visits, I can safely say this is a decent place to eat. This location has a better atmosphere then the location in Boaz. I prefer to come here. I always get the Bubba Quesidilla. My wife likes the Nachos. But if you get them, eat them quick. The cheese goes on the nachos already melted, so the chips will get soggy fast. My favorite in Atlanta is Willys. They do the cheese shreded on top of the nachos and then melt the cheese before serving you. My one complaint is that they charge you $0.95 for guacamole when Willys, Moes, and Chipotle all give it to you for free. read more

They're so huge and stuffed with goodies that my sister and I usually just sit ours upright on the table and bend down to eat! lol There are so many yummy options, and all the ingredients are fresh and super delicious. And you can't stop in without trying their zesty sour cream and chunky guacamole. They also have pineapple salsa that is to die for, and lots of great ice cream options as well for $1 a scoop! After a few years of visiting Guntersville and seeing the name Bubba Rito's Time and time again, today I decided to venture in and give it a taste. I was NOT disappointed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and when I said it was my first time coming, the gentlemen making my burrito quickly talked about all they have to offer. Although I didn't get the shredded pork on my burrito today, I definitely will the next time I go. Yes, there is definitely a next time. The steak for the beginnings of my burrito was juicy and full of flavor. I did sample the pork and it was phenomenal. Their queso was creamy and flavorful perfect for a chip or drizzled inside. They do have a full compliment of pico, lettuce, peppers, etc... but they do make Bubbas Caviar, which is corn, black beans, onion and cilantro with some sauce that makes it even more delicious. I topped my burrito with a spicy sour cream and it made for a nice cool ending to each bite. From beginning to end, this place will be on my list for a quick bite when visiting. My favorite place to eat! I would say it was a little pricey but they are liberal with the amount of food they give you. I like the atmosphere especially at the new location in Boaz. This is the third Bubba Ritos I have visited. The service and food is very good at all three. The Guntersville restaurant has a very friendly staff. All the food is fresh and keep at the proper serving temps. Have never been disappointed, you should your visit for before noon or a little after, lunch time is very busy.
