As someone who has never been to a farmer market before, I would like to say that Bubba's was one of the best vendor experience I've had. Although I've been to food festivals from other places, this is probably one of my favorite food vendors in California. One of their best selling is the spam musabi which most local people would go for. But recently my favorite one, which was a bold move to even consider, is the hot Cheetos curry chicken over rice. Essentially it's your typical spicy curry except it's being seasoned by hot Cheetos dust, and it is moderate sprinkled over the main dish. Update: Bubbas all day everyday baby!!! Too many ono flavor combos to have here - gotta get one of everything! Literally everything I've tried tasted amazing... and part of it is the quality of everything they use to make what they do right down to the rice. Even the rice is quality you can taste the difference and it's made with love! Not only do we love all the Ube everything on the menu, we also love how they continue to make new items including they started selling their homemade sauces, ice creams, etc! They love their loyal customers so much they recently named a menu item after me "Kerith-subi sandwich" which is a Breaded Chicken, Rice, Furikake Spring Mix, Hot Honey, Sriracha Mayo musubi sandwich! Their fried chicken is so crispy, paired with their homemade hot honey is finger lickin good! Honestly, Too many favorites to name them all, anything you pick I'm sure you'll be happy with. I get a few items Everytime I stop by! The service is also top notch- they are all so friendly and accommodating. It sometimes takes a bit for the food but it's because it's all made fresh to order and they put love into it. They give you a pager so I suggest you order here first and then you can walk around and enjoy the rest of the market while waiting for the order. If you stick around while waiting, they also often have samples available which is nice because then you can try other things you may not have yet! The Special Masubis she made were just the perfect rice and spam combination the add ons just made it 10x better, She hooked me up with the Ube ice Cream and Biscoff Ice cream to take home and regret not asking for more! Where do I even begin... usually you get what you paid for but this doesn't even apply at Bubba's because it is over priced with terrible service and food quality. Ordered two orders of musubi's and they only were able to complete one order after taking almost 30 mins. After I saw the quality of the first one, I had to cancel the 2nd order that they were STILL working on... all while other customer orders that were much heavier foods were done already. No communication from staff with only a "sorry" after I demanded they cancelled the order. Not worth the time or money. read more

I'll be short. I was at a ROTC meet in Stockton and Bubba's had their pop up tent going. I ordered lumpia's, popcorn chicken, spam misubi and one soda for a whopping $36 bucks. The wait was ridiculous but I'll cut them some slack since there was a lot of kids ordering. When I got my food, the popcorn chicken was cold. Ridiculous for sure. The lumpia's were ok but my kid said the misubi were good. For this, this place gets 3 stars. The misubi saved them from getting a two star. Would I come back, maybe. read more

Every Sunday, without fail, I swing by to pick up two chicken katsu and one lollisubi for my 13-year-old daughter. Saw them at the Weston Ranch Fall Festival on Halloween and had to give them a try. We ordered the house subi bowl, lolli subi, Connor subi, the spicy chicken sandwich (sadly only took 2-3 bites out of it and forgot it on the table because I had so many kids with me), the mango juice, Ube drink and a ube what drink. Bubbas Food Catering is my all time favorite spot for Filipino food. My favorites are the Bubbas chicken sandwich which has house-made sauce and is screaming with flavor in every bite & also the Wy-subi, a non-traditional take on chicken adobo packed with rice and wrapped in seaweed, one of the best creations ever. I cannot get enough of this place. Their service is so above and beyond too!
