I don't generally like pork skin but I enjoyed it regardless. - Hamachi ceviche: this is a large sharing portion with chunks of hamachi and avocado. Good but not a must have. Entrees - Enchiladas: very cheesy and overall a good dish but I would skip this. - Shrimp tostadas: large size shrimp and it just comes with two tostadas so I don't think it was worth the price - Barramundi fillet: The fish was tender and juicy. It costs nearly $20 for a bag of chips and a quart of salsa and to get home and have it been inedible for our family, is ridiculous. This has happened time and time again even after asking the hosting staff to "double check", "please make sure", "are you sure this is mild?" This obviously isn't the only issue. As many others have mentioned, food quality has gone down hill as a whole. Sometimes food seems stale or rushed. If Casa wants to remain a Livermore staple, it really needs to work on making the quality of their service match their pricing expectations. Their al pastor is basically like beef stew with lots of sweetness from the pineapple juice. It wasn't my type of quesadilla. The super burrito was a good size but the carne asada was like ground beef and it had yellow rice with PEAS!! Like what is this?! I've never seen this before from a burrito. Maybe it's a different style of Mexican taqueria food from like a different region but I did not like it. We won't be back. Sorry!
