Food was horrible. The crispy chicken was old and the crust was mushy. I ordered queso on the side instead it was put on the salad which made the shell soggy. Now the lettuce was warm and lost any firmness it may of had. My husband had the tacos. He didn't say much about them. I ordered a side of chips. They were old, stale with no flavor. What a shame. Unfortunately we didn't have the greatest experience here. When we walked in there was someone placing their order and one person in front of my family. We still waited about 15 minutes in line to order our food. They were definitely short staffed between the online orders and people dining in. We finally got to sit down and grab our drinks but there was no CO2 in the soda machine. I notified the cashier and the response was not very helpful. There was clear tension between the associates which reflected on the service. Needless to say, after waiting 15 minutes for them to fix the machine it was still not working properly and we needed to ask for bottled drinks as we were already half way through our meal. Came back to Bubbakoos recently searching for a decent option for a post workout meal. After receiving a few suggestions from their manager Ted, I Decided to try out the steak and shrimp bowl. Figured I'd save some carbs on the wrap and have the fast acting carbs from the rice be my source for that, and the protein from the shrimp, steak, and beans would be great after some time throwing some iron around. There was plenty of steak and shrimp on here and I added some sautéed onions and peppers as well as some sriracha ranch sauce. I also later added some cholula from their hot sauce bar and it was awesome. I would recommend this bowl to anyone trying to take a few carbs out and keep the protein high. It Didn't Suck! I order through DoorDash a few times a month. Normally, it's pretty good. But today the 'make your own' bowl I typically order came with chicken that was burnt to such a crisp that it seemed like they used the shavings from when they were scraping the grill. I'm in town for a conference and was looking for a place to eat- after a quick search I found Bubbakoo's Burritos. I will say it was the best find I've had in a while. The minute I walked through the door confirmed my decision. The restaurant was clean, chairs pushed in, vibrant art on the walls, and great pictures of menu items- so you could see what items looked exactly like. I was greeted by the nicest young woman, Chloe, I believe. She was patient with my questions, shared what was popular, and was extremely kind from the minute I entered the door to the minute I walked out. Now for the food...it was amazing! It was so good I went back to back days. On Tuesday, I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito which has to be hands down, the best burrito I've ever had! The chicken was well cooked, the rice flavored well, and pickles brought out all the flavors! Wednesday's choice brought me the Crispy Chicken Bacon Sriracha Ranch Quesadilla but I subbed Grilled Chicken for Crispy chicken. I know you may be shocked- but it was AMAZING! It was grilled on a flat top grill, which gave a nice taste & not a fried taste. Overall, I would recommend Bubbakoo's to anyone & everyone. Was passing through town and took a chance on this spot based on the solid reviews. Wish I had gone somewhere else. Food quality was subpar. Came in after driving the second leg of a road trip from Louisiana. All i wanted was some junk food, and found this place. First thoughts were, okay here we go with the offbrand chipotle, whatever, let's try it. I walked in, the two guys and one gal working the counter were friendly, helpful, and we made each other laugh. I got my burrito and some chips, after telling them about my trip, they gave me some extra cheese to try and make my day better. Food was great, notably better than chipotle. Chips were solid. When they first opened up it was great. Now that they've been open a while, they've gotten cheap! You have to see it to believe it, when you order a steak burrito they actually have little mini condiment cups that are filled with steak and that's the amount of steak they put in their steak burrito--less that an ounce of steak. They give you a spoon of rice and a spoon of beans the rest is just filler, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Not worth it AT ALL! I tried it with & without the guac. I think the guac helps, has a bit of salt and makes the onion flavor more mild. Tacos, same feedback. I think the onion flavor here is a bit strong. Salt goes a long way here in helping break that down. This place has good potential. One of the guys running the floor seemed pretty on top of it. We came in for a quick last minute lunch on a Saturday hearing that a new burrito shop had opened up. The atmosphere was casual and fun. The service was speedy and super friendly. We ordered the crispy chicken bacon Sriracha quesadilla and the Nashville hot chicken burrito. Both delicious but the quesadilla stole my heart! On a recent trip to Great Wolf Lodge, after getting sick multiple times from eating at the "resort", I decided to order out. My wife was hesitant, "that looks like Chipotle" but we ordered anyway. An a la Carte burrito joint, how shameful. Chips are so stale that they can be used as clay pigeons at a trap shoot. Burritos are inedible because they fall apart after you bite into them. While the food was okay, not great or especially different the service was horrific. No less than 5 employees ignored our group of 3 for over 20 minutes. Only 1 customer was in front of us getting 1 dish and we were confused by the wait and that no one acknowledged us. The menu is not as self explanatory as it appears and when we had questions they went unanswered by the staff. While our food was prepared we watched the cross contamination of all of the vegetables with either cheese or proteins which were then picked out and thrown directly on the floor. After almost an hour since arriving we got our last item finished, we wiped down a table to sit at as they were all dirty, then a staff member angrily yelled across the room that they were closed and we need to leave. However, I made the mistake of choosing sweet chili as a flavor and it was way too sweet. Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken burrito was just okay. We were expecting a stuffed rice ball but what was received is best described as an "open face" rice ball. It was two huge mounds of flavorless rice covered with toppings. The breaded parts were the only way to tell it was fried, but the rice and everything else was not even hot. A few bites were all that could be tolerated. Quesadilla was just as bad as the Chiwawa. If you do not like sweet, do not try any of their fruit or sweet sauces. The mango habanero sauce was all sugar no spice/heat whatsoever.
