This place is really cute and has a great vibe and energy for the evenings especially when they open at 4pm. Great for an after work spot. Service is phenomenal Tiffany was great. The food is amazing. I had a bunch of apps I especially love the tuna ceviche. Drinks weren't as good as I'd expect from a place like this, maybe I overhyped that in my head before going here.

Street Corn "Ribs" - I have had this style of street corn before but it didn't have the cob attached. It wasn't a pleasant experience eating it. Flavor was good. Chorizo + Potato Croquettes - I was looking forward to this but it was ok. Lacked flavor. Baked Oysters Jalisco - I don't like oysters but I said I would try baked... we ordered like 4 of them and then they said they had no more haha. They were actually really good. Tuna Ceviche - this was good Queso Dip - I wish there was chorizo in this. It was a bit plain for me. Al Pastor Tacos - Tacos were also ok. Their cocktails were really good, although we waited like 25 minutes for them, which also my son's coke even came much later. We were about to leave. We thought we were forgotten.

I visited here again recently on a Wednesday at 4:30ish. My sister made a reservation although it wasn't needed. They had just opened at 4pm so I was seated right away. I didn't realize that they have "Happiest Hour" 4-5 and "Happy Hour" 5-6 so the prices go up. I didn't realize that until I got the bill because I failed to fully read the menu lol. Anywho, we ordered the traditional margaritas on tap with tajin. We started with the trio dip appetizer on the happy hour menu. The queso was my absolute favorite it was so good!! The guac was also good but the salsa we could've done without. I wasn't a fan of the salsa at all. For meals my sister ordered enchiladas and I had flautas. The flautas were good and I dipped it in some guacamole we still had from our appetizer. Everything we had was good (again, minus the salsa lol). Our waiter, Jimmy, was great. He was super attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a great experience. I will definitely be returning.

Been here a few times and have generally had the same opinion each time. Drinks are pretty on-point and done well, especially their margaritas. The food is mediocre and not worth the price. Unfortunately there isn't too much else in the way of Mexican around here, so it's fairly standard for the area. If you're looking for places to go in Morristown, I'd just do drinks and then look elsewhere for dinner.

Was excited to try this Mexican restaurant by the same owners as The Office. There is a large bar with plenty of seating which is perfect for watching a sport game and munching on some good Mexican food. I recommend getting the birria tacos and the Al pastor tacos. The hibiscus margarita and the watermelon basil Margarita were delicious! I came for dinner but I imagine brunch is equally as good.

Awesome dessert tress leches was top notch.

This place definitely has some amazing drinks. We enjoyed the dark & smoky and also the margarita flight & the Tres Palomas. The corn apple was definitely my favorite, I was disappointed in the wings, because they were just the drum more like a chicken lollipop than a wing. The pork chop was very tasty. Definitely a cute spot for a date night or just a nice night out in Morristown.

Nom is a wonderful restaurant. First of all, it's larger than you would expect and has both depth and width to it, which is good because I do not like tiny restaurants where all the tables are right next to each other. The waiters and other servers were very friendly and patient as my friend and I took a little while to decide what we wanted...whoops. Ultimately, I ordered a Jalapeño margarita, which was just the right amount of spicy and tasty. For dinner, I ordered the Sweet Corn Arepas, and boy were they sweet! The shrimp on top was delicious, and whatever the glaze was added another texture. I couldn't get enough. My only issue with the restaurant was the prices seemed a tad high. Maybe it's just inflation, but I feel like 2 arepas should not cost $22...

My friends and I went to Morristown to go to a different restaurant for brunch, but once we saw Nom we changed our plans. The aesthetic is very classy and calm, the service was super friendly and accommodating. We started with margaritas, I got the NOM margarita which is the larger of the three in the photo, it was delicious and everyone was definitely jealous of the size! My friends ordered the cucumber habenero & the traditional. The cucumber habenero was so refreshing and tingled. The nachos were good, I was very happy with the topping to chip ratio, I've had more flavorful nachos in other places but these were still a solid pick. For my entree I ordered a steak bowl. The steak was so tender and tasted so fresh, the perfect amount of seasoning and the dressing and veggies all complimented the flavors in the bowl. My one friend got Huevos Rancheros, her eggs were cooked nicely but she didn't get all the sides she was expecting. The waitress quickly got her the sides once it was pointed out, but overall my friend was a little disappointed in her choice. My other friend ordered a bowl, like me, but with shrimp and was very happy with the flavors and quality. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our food!

Food is consistently good here. The service last night however, was terrible. Not sure if the server was on the newer side or was too overwhelmed but it was not good. It took a while to even be greeted and brought water when first being sat, and had to tell her multiple times we had already placed our entree orders after she tried to ask repeatedly. Nonetheless, the food is fresh and delicious and the drinks are tasty. A good, lively spot for dinner with friends. Highly recommend the tableside guacamole, spicy jalapeno margarita & birria tacos.

3,4,3,43,4,3,4....ok it's a three for y'all. Ordered a bunch of small plates to share. For me, majority of the "tapas" were either down right yucky or just ok. Food Croquetas 0/10 taste like I was just eating the oil it was cooked in. Mole wings 0/10...can we even call that a wing? What was that lol. Corn ribs 8/10. Interesting concept. Juicy "tender" corn ribs. Shrimp tostones 8/10. Now these were delicious. Gauc complemented the flavorful shrimp on the plantain. Guacamole 9/10 fresh and made to order. Thank me later and add the jalapeños. Yuca Fríes 9/10 Didnt try any but my three amigos said it "slapped". Churros with hot chocolate dip 10/10. We were soooo full but just had to get these. That chocolate dip was great! Drinks Tequila Flight. 7/10 Three mini drinks for $20. Only one that had a slight kick was the traditional. But all were watery on first sip. I think one was supposed to be mango but had no mango flavor what so ever.

I wish I could give this like, a 3.75. The pros: the ambiance (love that they kept the orange bar from the George & Martha's days), the service (very friendly and attentive), the margaritas (I'm really not a tequila person but I had heard they were good here so I had to get one -- I'm glad I did! so yummy), the apps (the guacamole and tuna ceviche were great -- guac is on the limey-er side, FYI), and my entree (blue corn crunch wrap) was bigger than the menu picture online looked. The cons: unfortunately, the tortilla on my entree was so burnt that it was really all I could taste (a friend I was with got the same thing and had the same issue, so it wasn't just a fluke) -- it was really overpowering. Discarding the tortilla, the insides were good, not great. I was also surprised to see that even though we all ordered entrees, which were supposed to come with "a selection of sides to share" for the table, we got one very small dish of rice and beans and another very small dish of corn and something else. There were five of us at the table, so this was nowhere near enough to share. Why does a table of five get the same amount of/portions of sides as a table of one or two? TLDR; I'll go back, but probably just for a drinks & apps situation. Those things were good enough (in addition to the service) that I would return for them.

La Maya did not disappoint! The ambience is dimly lit, and perfect for a romantic dinner. On the cocktails side, I tried "Señor Sal" - a dirty martini / Vesper riff featuring their proprietary gin and vodka, dry vermouth, pickled jalapeño, olive brine, and lemon infused olive oil. It was a visually attractive, delicious, and sturdy cocktail. Just what the doctor ordered! Later I tried the house margarita. It was balanced and refreshing. There are options to add flavorings to the house margarita spec for +$2 (e.g., Matcha Coconut, Spicy, Guava Mint, Caramelized Pineapple). My dinner companion tried the caramelized pineapple and loved it. On the culinary side, the guacamole was fresh and flavorful. For an entree, I selected the Carne Nortena - a tequila-marinated ribeye with sauteed scallions, shisito peppers. The steak was cooked perfectly to temperature (medium-rare) and amazingly juicy. The roasted sweet potato wedges (Camote) were also outstanding. Don't forget dessert - the coconut flan was to die for! Service - I believe our server's name was Alex, was on-point. He was knowledgeable about both the food and beverages, and did not rush us. Thank you La Maya for a great evening. I will definitely return.

The Ambience: The physical space and decor were very nice and well-designed. The Bad: The Gatekeeping vs. The Reality: The restaurant tries hard to pose as a high-caliber, fine-dining establishment--even going so far as to request that guests remove their hats and sunglasses before entering. However, this "elite" illusion was immediately shattered when we were welcomed by a hostess aggressively chewing gum like a cow. If you're going to enforce a strict, upscale dress code, the front-of-house staff should match that level of professionalism. The Vibe Dissonance: While the decor was lovely, the music and the DJ completely clashed with the overall look and feel of the venue. Nothing stood out or justified the high-end posturing. The Verdict: It was an interesting experience to try once, but between the mixed signals and average menu, we wouldn't go back.
