The food here is terrible! I have a family of four and a combo each ran us around $70. The service was ok but I can see if they got busy the staff might be cranky. We are visiting from Seattle and I am Mexican. This is not Mexican food. Not even close! The steak and chicken looked processed so I figured the ground beef would be safe but I was wrong. It was so salty and had rubbery texture. It was like dogfood. I ended up throwing out most of my rice bowl. My family didn't enjoy their dishes any more than I did and they got the steak and chicken. It's trying to be chipotle but failing. Plus, the team was having a meeting at the table next to us about how their staff drinks too many drinks during their shifts and don't get enough work done. The service was awful on Friday December 19th at around 8:30. My girlfriend went in to get us dinner because our power went out and asked for a chicken burrito bowl and a beef burrito. the young female worker in charge if the rice, beans and meat instead gave her a beef burrito bowl (which was remade to the correct order) and a burrito labeled for Adobo chicken. but once i started eating i quickly discovered there was no meat of any kind in my burrito. i am extremely dissatisfied with the service as usually i love the food there. the standards of that female employee mentioned earlier need to be addressed read more

I ordered a chicken adobo burrito for pick up, and they forgot to put the chicken in! Not sure how that's possible as the protein is the first thing you put in. $15 down the drain. TL;DR: staff went above and beyond, and were super friendly and accommodating of my grandfather's allergy (celiac) and the food was very good :) I came here with my grandparents after they went mattress shopping (lol) and we had a wonderful experience! None of us had ever been to a Moe's, so the staff was very helpful throughout our ordering process. We informed the first girl that my grandfather has celiac and cannot have gluten and she immediately alerted the rest of the staff about it and they all changed their gloves. This was a totally unexpected and wonderful surprise!! I was super hesitant about us going here considering the proximity of all ingredients, but the way that the whole staff handled it made me much more comfortable allowing him to eat here! Additionally, he has trouble tasting some things, and he enjoyed the food which was a wonderful bonus. Of course, my grandmother and I both also enjoyed the food (she is hard to impress lol). We chose to dine in, and throughout our meal, I did notice staff cleaning tables and sweeping the floor. The place was pretty clean and everything felt updated. So , yes I gave them another try, since I was in the area. No difference, ordered the same items from a week ago, and still given the same quantity. Not worth the money at at, they need to learn to give you more product for the buck. At this visit, the young lady who rang my order, seemed to be new, I explained to her that the customer before me dropped a container of sour cream right in front of the register, she seem frazzled and called the manager, a manager came to register and I explained about the sour cream, he said where, I showed him, he shrugged his shoulders looked at the floor , and said to me ( It's not to bad) as I paid for my order with my legs around the spill, I went to counter to get condiments, I looked back and manager never cleaned up the spill, he was just standing behind the vegetable bar. I've never had Moe's so on the way back from the Poconos, my friend saw the sign & heard & immediately stopped & told me I HAD to try the "stack". I was like ??? ok ??? My friend was very passionate about me trying the stack so we ended up parking and going inside (there's a lot so it was super easy to just stop & go in) The line wasn't too long, we ordered - the guy behind the counter said it'd be a couple of minutes if we wanted dark chicken but we just opted with white since we were both hangry. I got all the fixin's - guac, queso, etc. I saw some comments that the place being "dirty & the staff wasn't wearing gloves" but that wasn't the case! It was pretty clean, we even decided to stay & enjoy our food. I am now a fan of the "stack" - think Crunchwrap supreme but portion size x3. I also liked that they give out free chips - the staff was super welcoming & made my first experience a good one :) now I'll have to travel to LI for my Moe's cravings heeehe read more

We were at a wedding in the area and stayed at the hotel near this Moe's. We were a little hungry when we got back to the hotel so we stopped in to grab some food before going back to our room. We each ordered a junior burrito which was a great selection. I never knew they offered that before! They were out of queso but we understood as it was the end of the night. read more

They overcharge you for extra meat, even when you don't get extra meat. And if you order extra meat, you don't get extra meat. Then if you question the person ringing you up they state their owner told them to do it that way. So this is shady as hell and corporate needs to get involved. read more

The second we walked in there was a group of teenagers who were so high making me n my girlfriend uncomfortable. we waited to order while this really rude worker talked to the high teenagers about god knows what. You think the line is long? It's 3x longer than it looks because between every person are 3-4 online orders being made. I really hope all those people called before I walked in the door. It feels like getting butted in line over and over. Add to that they're understaffed. Maybe b/c they pay $7.25 while the owners probably rake in millions. I liked how it came with chips BUTTTTT since when has moe's not been making their chips fresh???? they were it big plastic totes and were very stale. It's been several years since my last stop at a Moe's. I used to go all the time, but the lack of flavor in any of their meats pushed me away. Well after several years we decided to try it again and for some reason they haven't figured it out. . Even with the success of places like Qdoba, Chipotle and other chains like Salsarita's, Moes still kicks out the same bland meats and poor tortilla chips. However, because there's value people still come through the doors. If you're okay with eating bland food that you have to douse in salsa this is the spot for you. Moe's is your typical massive chain where it doesn't taste like anything is fresh and it does taste like most food comes in frozen or from a large food distributor. It's not your authentic Mexican experience. The guacamole tastes nothing like fresh guacamole. In fact, it's actually worse than stuff you would get at a grocery store. On the other hand because you can order a lot of food and not pay too much for it this place stays busy and no one can complain about the service here. The people that work here did a good job moving the line quickly and keeping a positive attitude. This salsa is actually fair and unlike many fast food chains when it says extremely hot it is spicy. Out of all the meats their carnitas is probably the best, but I would avoid the chicken as there's no flavor to it at all. And their ground beef is just about on par with Taco Bell so if you like that you're going to love this place. There's one thing that always holds true it Moe's if you enjoy a hamburger at McDonalds or a sandwich at Subway then you're going to be a fan of Moes too. read more

Good food, bad customer service. I ordered a Homewrecker Bowl, and a Cup of Guacamole. 06/12/20 - Ordered at 7:12, quoted at 7:27, arrive at 7:22. Called to pick up at 7:30, haven't made the food yet. Called 7:41, they said the order has been processed. Wait another 15 mins - 7:57, call to request manager to cancel order, put on hold. While on hold, guys finally comes with food. Reject food for refund. 8:02 manager picks up phone and I had to persuade manager Alicia to give me my full refund. Time spent in Moe's parking lot, 45 minutes. Leaving late, hungry, and annoyed. Thanks for wasting my time, will not be returning to that location again. read more

Safe, fresh, affordable food near Camelback. Service was on the slower side, but friendly and communicated the reason for delay. I don't know where south west Moes is claiming to be from , but they were very far from the spice trade , if taste is an indicator. There are many signs regarding their chips and dip.... the chips were either very stale or very chewy on purpose, and I really can't speak on the dip because they didn't have any. I do thank them for being open on a Sunday and being able to spare my pockets a total obliteration, but my mouths lack of food recognition made me question if I had been exposed to COVID. All in all it wasn't a horrible experience , and if I was hard pressed , I'd still choose it again over the Sonic across the way. read more

Let me start by saying... I LOVE MOE's. Love it. But I am severely disappointed in my experience today, to the point I felt compelled to write a review. We are in the midst of a pandemic. And maybe there are some that don't feel there is a need to take major precautions, but at the very least following the basic Covid-19 protocols should be manageable right? Not for the staff or manager there today at 6pm. Three men in a group of around 6 walked into the Moe's by 9th street in Stroudsburg,PA and we're not wearing a mask. Two of which DIDNT EVEN HAVE ONE. They walked in right as I pulled into the lot so I saw them as they looked at the bright orange sign that reads "ALL EMPLOYEES AND GUESTS MUST WEAR MASKS" hesitated and then walked in away. As my wife and I walked in, we were shocked that they were not refused service. These young men were not only talking to order (obviously) but we're leaning over the glass..meaning over the food in which others will be exposed to. I felt it inappropriate for me to direct my disgust with the individuals because frankly it's not my place to police guests in the establishment. It's the staff. No one did. When coming to the counter, I asked for the manager. When brought over his first response was to explain he "was so busy" and didn't see it. When I pointed out one who was waiting to pay and the two who just walked out, he turned to me and exact words said: "Oh I don't know what you want me to do" Really? REALLY? When I pushed further to the fact that none of his staff did anything about it, and that people have to eat this food the only solution was for him to catch an attitude with me and yell for his team to wash their hands. Not only did they all follow suit and decide to have an attitude because... well being sanitary is a nuisance... but I guess because... well I guess because following health orders and protecting your business is also a nuisance. I get this is a Franchise operation so I hope the owner sees this. I hope the owner holds himself to a better standard. read more

The young guys making the food were quite chatty with each other, as I had to wait for their conversation to pause for them to ask me what ingredients I wanted on my quesadilla. I wasn't in any real rush, but the customer is more important than joking around with coworkers. I sat down and started eating and noticed that when some customers came in the door, the crew would yell, "Welcome to Moe's". I wonder if it's a random thing, or should every customer get such a welcome? I certainly didn't. Anyway, my quesadilla was really good and stuffed with lots of yummy ingredients. This Moe's use to be really good but as others have pointed out the sanitary conditions of the food being made is really poor. We ordered full size burritos and got juniors. The chicken burrito had a few pieces of chicken and the. Black beans were under cooked and chalky. Very disappointing for the money that you pay for things these days. I afraid that was the last run. Other Moe's in Allentown don't make such small burritos and use gloves and spoons. read more

i called in an order for 2 bowls. i ordered chicken, seasoned rice, black beans, corn pico, cheese, and queso. when i picked up my bowls theres was a note saying "sorry! were out of seasoned rice :(" when ordering, they did not ask for my name nor phone number. when picking up the meal they did not inform me of the rice situation. they certainly asked me to fill out the screen to tip them! i work in the hospitality business and this order was not what i had in mind. if i wanted a bowl full of chicken beans and corn i would make it my gosh darn self and i certainly would NOT pay $27 for it! if there was an option to leave no stars i would! not only was my order INCORRECT, but with 5 employees visably in the store, ordering a separate burrito took 20 minutes! the line was made up of 7 people ?! I have been a customer through covid and i will never be a customer again, i would much rather drive 30 minutes out of the way to spend even more money at your competition, CHIPOTLE. read more

Had never had Moe's, went last night. Epic mistake. Got a steak bowl. The rice was heavy on the cumin, the steak, peppers and onions were tasteless. The pinto beans were good. The salsas and queso were tasty. But I was appalled (and almost left without getting anything) because the person putting the ingredients in the bowls used his hands (he did wear gloves, but did not change them between orders) where were the spoons? Then we ordered queso and paid for it. It was missing from our order had to go back and ask. Might try Moe's at another location, but only if more sanitary. I know help is difficult to find, but I feel like they could do much better. read more
