While I'm not really a steak person by any means, I think I've cracked the code at Longhorn in terms of getting some decent bang for your buck. What is it? Lunch. Admittedly, the choices are very small with their only being five possibilities, but, if one of those five does it for you, it's hard to beat a good-sized burger with fries or soup or salad for $9.99. m.longhornsteakhouse.com/menu/lunch/steakhouse-lunch-plates Yesterday's lunch was about textbook perfect. We get there about thirty minutes after they opened, and we're seated close to the bar. The bartender was on her game, and she kept the pace of the drinks, refills and food coming full speed. Both burgers were solid, and the potato soup and mixed green salad sides were equally as expected. If you want to be nitpicky, no way the bread was fresh or from that day. While it tasted ok, it was on the harder side and very crumbly. Door to door in under an hour and for less than $20 before tax and tip? Yep. I'll take that any day.

While out of town, I stopped in for something to eat. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and sat at the bar. Tony was my bartender, and he was nice but not really attentive. He never offered me bread, utensils, or checked on me much. I was doing work, but those little things would have been nice. I ordered the pinot nior and it was ok. The french onion soup I had was the best dish of them all. I also ordered the grillled shrimp, and it looked great, but it was super salty. I had to try to take some of the seasoning off so I could eat it. The bill was decent, but this was just an ok experience.

Tiny steak! This is part of surf and turf. The surf was on another dish.

I was told that long horn is the better of the steakhouse chains. That means their steaks must be great! They were definitely expensive and the portions were small. The waitress was very inattentive and was just going through the motions as if she didn't want to be there. It added to the negative atmosphere we experienced. We got better food at Red Lobster.

We try to avoid chain restaurants whenever possible but there weren't many choices in Stroudsburg on a Sunday night. Although this Longhorn seemed understaffed we did enjoy our meal. Ambiance: very nice Service: very pleasant staff but you could see that they were understaffed. Lemon garlic chicken: very tender and tasty. The sauce was a bit too salty. Restock grilled shrimp: very good. Crispy Brussels sprouts: excellent

My girlfriend and I ended our day buy going her for the evening to top off our night with a few cocktails and an appetizer and my girlfriend order dinner to go for her family. And yes there delicious bread. We were greeted by a friendly and outgoing gentleman. We order our cocktails, asked for bread and our appetizer was the battered onion petal with a delicious sauce , our waitress was the bartender. She was hard to get at times. When our bread came, after taking a piece each, we both said at the same time, this bread is hard a a rock, we could knock it on the table. When the waitress return she apologized, girlfriend ordered her to go order, knowing it would take time awhile and the waitress brought us a hot fresh new bread. Overall after waiting 45 minutes for our to go order, we had a nice time.

Dinner with my coworker. Started with house salads. Very good. Then I had a sirloin and a side of shrimp and Brussel sprouts. The steak was seasoned before it got to me , but I was able to add some salt and pepper. Very good meal. Good service.

We come here often and needless to say the experience was amazing. The food is always great as always, today we came for my aunts birthday. Everyone ordered steaks and I got ribs they were delicious. Alexandra our server did a great job and was very attentive. I was also surprised when the manager George came over and asked how everything was, and was nice enough to talk to us for a few minutes. I would like to thank everyone for a great dinner. It really made my aunts birthday! we will be back again soon!

This is a nice place. I went with nine other ladies, and the waiter did great with us. He took a few pics for us at our request. He was very attentive and accommodating. The food was tasty and came out with no issues. Everyone raved about the veggies. Nice place, enjoy!

Just prior to us leaving my food finally came, This however dampened my Mothers day at your restaurant. Even after was told my meal was compt I would have enjoyed not eating alone. I feel that it will now be a rather long time before I come back to this restaurant.. The waiter had to ask me several times what did you order which tells me he did not even write it down,,

We walked in and the hostess and host were goofing around, chit chatting about life. The female felt her story was more important than greeting us, the guy on the other hand grabbed menus and just walked away. So good on him, a lesson for her I guess. We then got sat down and our waitress very honest and sweet. I believe it was her third or fourth day. She grabbed our drinks and appetizers. Of course we ordered fried pickles. Let me just say I believe they were left over reheated. Soggy, and disgusting. Very salty and if there was other seasoning I could not taste it. I ordered the ribeye and shrimp. The waitress was on the order she called it perfect but the food was not satisfying. I had the house salad which was good and a lot. My ribeye and shrimp came out with mashed potatoes. Let me start with the potatoes that were not mashed. It may had looked mashed but had huge potato chunks the size of a potato. The steak cook to choice but seasoning was overbearing, so much fat, very chewy. I did not like it at all. The shrimp was good. Seasoned well and cooked. The atmosphere was decent. You could have conversations without issues. The waitress was good for being new. The manager came over and checked in. This made me laugh because it was a check in. Grabbed the ticket on the table introduced herself and asked if any issues but you could see she really did not care. She also waited for us to put our first bite in our mouths. It felt like she was on a triple shift and going through the motions. In my opinion maybe wait till we had some of our meal so I could tell you it was not good. Like I said it's a chain you get what you get. I do not suggest this one.

My order was the Cuban sandwich and the half chicken and rice. The Cuban sandwich, honestly, wasn't the best. The sandwich was edible but rather bland. Boasting rich and comforting flavors, this concoction was an amalgam of deliciously smoked meat and veggies swimming in a pool of a savory tomato and herb broth.
