Last night, my husband and I enjoyed Bubbakoo's Burritos via a deal on uber eats. Chicken bowls were BOGO, so we purchased 2, leaving us with 4 total bowls for $26. We had a credit for $25, which meant our 4 meals were $1. Wow. The bowls were tasty and very filling. Our only wish is that they had a larger portion of chicken inside them. The portion size is small compared to other items in the bowl. Burritos were also BOGO on uber eats, so we might try that next time. Give it a try! read more

Ordered from uber eats several months ago and it was awesome, I've been thinking about it since! Ordered today , the exact same burrito the same way, and it was subpar. Seemed like they left out 2/5 of the toppings or put so little that it was virtually not noticeable. First time I ordered I didn't try the queso, and this time we decided to. It was inedible. Tasted like artificial sweeteners for some reason and was such a weird texture. Like it's watery and thickened with cornstarch or something. Definitely not cheese. Bummer. read more

It was okay. I paid $4 for a taco and like 7 tortilla chips- no joke! This place has pineapple salsa and pickled jalapeños. Everything else is similar to chipotle. In comparing the two, chipotle gives a much bigger portion that I can eat over 2 meals. For a similar price point $14 I was able to eat it all in one sitting. Ordered delivery from Uber eats to work today. Had the Nashville crispy chicken burrito. I was underwhelmed. It seemed small. The rice was all on one end and the chicken on the other. Weird how it got wrapped up that way. Got it as it comes. But it really needs something more. Pickles were good. Rice was fine. Chicken was crispy and spicy. But it just didn't come together well. I think it needs some sort of queso or sour cream or ranch to pull it all together. It was only $14 but I thought it was a small portion. I ate the whole thing and was not stuffed. I would not recommend this burrito. I do love that they have delivery via Uber eats and I thought their packaging of our delivery was great. I ordered two Nashville, one bowl and a custom burrito for the group. Everything was labeled clearly inside the bag. They have an extensive menu so I won't give up on this place. read more

We sat outside since it was super hot inside. There fans were down at the grill. I can say the place was super flavorful and yummy. Thought the ghost pepper had a kick but not super spicy Which I love super spicy! The drink said not bubbly but it was super bubbly so was not a fan. But they had alcohol which was nice. The Tennessee hot fries were really good not much spice more smoky flavoring. I would definitely go back because I want to try more things!! read more

We had a great dinner here last night. I love the ambiance inside. Very spacious and clean- rockin' the 90's tunes and Skateboarder/surfer vibes. Employees were all super friendly and greeted us upon entering. We ordered a few things and really enjoyed it all. The taco trio (ground beef, shrimp, carnitas), ground beef build your own burrito, a salad I built on my own as well- grilled chicken, rice, beans, sweet chili sauce and a chicken bacon ranch sandwich. First time ordering and sadly disappointed. I ordered through Uber eats and when I opened my hibachi steak bowl is was barely ANY steak. I put it in a plate just to take a picture of how it was received. Flavor is there but they load you with rice and veggies and protein is barely there. $15 bucks? I called and spoke to Chris who stated there was no supervisor on shift. Asked me how can he help only for him to tell me I was lying about the amount of protein in my bowl after I suggested I could share a picture. First of all, I just want to say that the customer service here is 10/10. It was my first visit and the menu is very big and a little overwhelming. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the guy taking my order was ready to guide me through the process. I wish I had gotten his name because was so friendly and knowledgeable. He suggested the signature Hot Nashville Chicken burrito and a Chiwawa upgrade when I said I was interested in a bowl. The girls working the register were also ready to suggest sauces and topping. It's a Chipotle style deal so you pick your base (bowl, burrito, quesadilla, etc.) and your protein. They have way more protein options than chipotle and I was impressed with the 3 kinds of chicken and even steak and shrimp. The portions were generous for the price. I like that they toss them in your choice of sauce. Adds another level of customization. Unfortunately, the food itself just didn't hit. I tried the hot Nashville burrito the "house" way with fried chicken. It was so spicy that it was inedible. My wife and I each took one bite and threw the rest away. The employee had said it wasn't "that" spicy but I guess everyone's tolerance is different because it was unbearable. It may have been good with a different sauce but the Nashville sauce was peppery, vinegary and just not it. Disclaimer: my spicy tolerance isn't great so if you're a spicy veteran, don't let this review keep you from giving it a try. I also tried a build your own bowl with a Chiwawa base. This is a fried all of rice that's been cooked with mozzarella cheese. It was a little heavy but the flavor was good. The crunchiness of the rice was a bit off putting and I'd probably go with the regular rice next time. For my protein I had the grilled chicken with General Tso sauce. This was sweet and excellent. I put pretty much every topping on it and my favorite was the corn salsa. Smoky and flavorful. The bowl was definitely good but nothing outstanding. Overall it's a bit of a glorified Chipotle with more of a Qdoba vibe (if that makes sense). Sometimes less is more and even though the menu was bigger, the quality just didn't do it for me. For the price point I would rather go elsewhere. However, since the bowl was decent and I think I played myself by getting the (way too) hot Nashville burrito, I would be willing to give it another go and try something else. Again, based on customer service alone this place is a 5 but unfortunately it couldn't make up for the mediocre food. 2.5 rounded up. read more

First visit here and we enjoyed the food and location is convenient in Lake Mary. Great plaza with a variety of food options and you can walk around and grab dessert down the way if you please. Very clean which is a big deal of course for a food establishment. Those in our general seating area that I could hear were very much enjoying their food and were complimenting it which speaks volumes! So you can imagine when the manager came around asking how their food was it was all positive things and happy they were to give their thoughts. It's rare you see managers do that and making sure the tables are being cleaned as soon as patrons leave. Love seeing that ! Dining area is great , they have outlets at the booths and counter seating which is huge & courteous considering we know our phones and kids tablets are always on low battery lol On to the food, all food is fresh and made to order. You literally hear them dropping your food as you're ordering. We ordered the Steak & Shrimp bowl and plain curly fries. I say plain because you can order your fries in a variety of ways with their different sauces. The sauces we ordered were sweet chili and Sriracha Ranch. All the toppings are soooo fresh and they have pickled jalapeños which were amazing ! We love spicy ! To me it gives me Tex-Mex vibes that's a fusion of Chipotle and Tijuana Flats but BETTER! I appreciate establishments like this and here to stay. Already can't wait to come back because I already know I am getting nachos and a quesadilla next visit. Food was fantastic, I ordered the Boom Shaka Laka burrito and it came with Your choice of Chicken, White Rice, Red Pepper Garlic Aioli, Roasted Red Pepper Strips, Pico de gallo. I really enjoyed this burrito it was very delish. My husband got the tacos and they were perfectly done and the curly loaded fries were on point. I really enjoyed the different flavors and combinations in their burritos. Staff were super friendly and food came out fast. The ambience was a very fun and relaxed atmosphere. This is the best place to eat in Lake Mary! It's so delicious and has a cute atmosphere. It's super fast service too, if you're in a hurry. You can pick things off the menu or create your own food! My whole family gets completely different things off the menu and it's all good. They have the best quality ingredients and they give you a lot. New place to compete with Chipotle, Moe's and Qdoba. The menu included tacos, burritos, salad, nachos, quesadillas and then things the others do not have like wings, tater tots, fries and Chiw awa (rice and cheese ball that you could top). The location in Lake Mary (the address below) has only been open for a little over a week. Staff was welcoming, informative about choices and friendly. You order at the counter and fill your choice with the toppings you would like similar to the other places. We felt like some of the things in the burrito were warmer than others. The music was independent rock along with some classic rock. The fountain machine was not working and it does not appear that there is a plan for unsweet tea. I'm sure the fountain machine being out is just temporary but I would love for them to have tea (not bottled). Now for the food- Tater tots were crispy with very tasty cheese and bacon. Good! Nashville chicken burrito- excellent flavor! The protein was lukewarm. Quantity was very good. Scorpion pepper burrito- lives up to its name. It was . My husband can eat spicy and he said on a scale from 1 to 10, it was a 12. Good flavor! Steak and shrimp burrito- Good flavor! This burrito had lukewarm proteins, steak was a little chewy. The rice was not even lukewarm. It was a good quantity of filling. The burrito quesadilla- had very good flavor! It's basically a burrito that is put on the grill like a quesadilla. The carnitas were tender and flavorful. The fajita vegetables were fresh and still with some crisp. I think it is definitely worth a try, especially if you like the restaurants I mentioned above. A buddy of mine recommended this establishment and said that it was better than Chipotle. I visited this restaurant walking in with great confidence that I will have an enjoyable lunch. The time was 16:30 and the place was empty. I like the color scheme of the menu and store. I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp burrito add queso. My girlfriend ordered the Nashville hot chicken bowl. We also got the fried Oreos for dessert. Our food was prepared fairly quickly. As I was eating my burrito I noticed the shrimp was scarce and the steak was dry. The burrito I had wasn't very flavorful. Solid food and a lot of chips! I stopped here to try the tacos and my husband had a burrito and my daughter tried a cheese quesadilla. Looks like everything is made fresh and to order. We all got chips and it was a literal bags of chips they had you. Tried two of their salsas and both were fine, the hot wasn't that hot but still tasted good. We've been visiting Bubbakoo's since it opened in Lake Mary. It is amazingly consistent. The staff is always pleasant, the food is fresh, and portions are always generous. If there's a downside it's that there is so much selection and different flavors that it's hard to decide on just one thing! Most will liken it to Chipotle and other burrito bowl type places, but it takes the concept to another level with a much wider selection of flavors and menu items. More than that, the portions are consistent and generous and the place is very clean. It's rare that any of the pans are empty or old looking. Additionally, they usually have a decent selection of craft beer in cans and even have local beer on tap. We are very glad to have this place so close to home. It is our go-to when we don't want to cook and want to order from someplace where everyone in our family can find something they love, including my vegetarian kid. read more

So this was my first time at this restaurant, and definitely won't be my last. The first thing that I noticed when I got to the location was that it was very clean and spacious , had lots of seating. At first, I was a little overwhelmed with the menu, but Emma and Lydia were absolutely amazing in helping me choose what to eat. Our last order was also incorrect. $61 including tax & delivery. $7.49 delivery fee to deliver 500 ft down the street in a huge Apt complex. Totally disgusted. My husband ordered a steak & shrimp burrito, it was about 3" long by 1 1/2 wide for $17. I ordered a taco bowl instead I received a mushy, cold crispy chicken burrito. Decided to try Bubbakoo's tonight because my husband and I were intrigued by their interesting menu. Long story short, the options don't really make any sense, too many ideas going on (chicken sandwiches and burritos?). The food was barely seasoned and it lacked even salt. We were the only people in the restaurant at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and the 4 young workers tending to the store were less than enthusiastic to even be there. They didn't greet you when you walked in, after taking our order they were sitting on the cooking counters right behind the ordering plate and on their phones complaining about being there. I have no problem with fast casual, pre-cooked food, but it was in no way hot and fresh, only just barely heated through. Though the atmosphere has potential (we enjoyed the punk rock playlist), it seems to be trying desperately to have the feel of Tijuana Flats, but is sub par to their menu. Prices were decent, and they accepted a military discount, but sadly we would not return. Had high hopes! read more

Saw this place finally opened was interested to see what they had to offer, clearly I wasn't the only one as the line was long. The food options did have me curious, basically a chipotle concept with a flavor twist. They also have starter options and dessert. The prices seemed reasonable, the staff was unorganized though. There was one young man dictating what everyone had to do, I think he was just adding to the confusion instead of just letting them do what they needed. We were there waiting over 30 minutes I felt like I was at an amusement park waiting for my turn on the ride. Then the person ahead of me tried to start his order and the young man walked away mid sentence bc he was so worried about everyone else instead of sticking to the task. My boyfriend and I were flipping through our coupons from the mail and came across something from Little Greek but when we looked up where it was at, he found Bubbakoos on the map and looked up the website. The food looked pretty great and since we love trying new spots, we decided to try it out and holy crap I'm so glad we did!! We ordered online and although I really wanted to try the Hibachi Steak and Shrimp burrito as advertised on the main site, I couldn't find it while ordering and went with their chicken bacon ranch and sriracha quesadilla. It ended up being my favorite item. Everything was pretty on point to be honest. The guac was bangin, the white queso had incredible flavor and consistency, the chips were crisp, the salsa and pico was *chefs kiss* The Nashville hot burrito wasn't bad by any means (my boyfriend LOVED it) and the heat was def there which I loved, but maybe it's the consistency with the rice and tortilla that just didn't hit the same for me as everything else did. We will absolutely be going back for more. PS, thank you Bubbakoos for getting everything correct on our order. I believe this is the best new restaurant to come to the Lake Mary area in quite a while. It has the feel of a chipotle, with its team servicing those in line, but the similarities stop there. The menu is the difference. At Bubbakoo's the menu is unique and interesting and at first a little intimidating. My family of four decided to try a few things. My wife got the Chiwawa which I believe is a ball of rice crisped to perfection. She loaded it with ground beef and other toppings. My son had a chicken burrito bowl with General Tso's sauce on the side, my daughter got a pulled pork quesadilla with Jamaican Jerk seasoning, and I got the chicken and cheese quesadilla. I can honestly say everything was fantastic and the uniqueness of the meals added to the experience. We also ordered the General Tso's bone-in wings (requested crispy), chips and queso, and love chips. The wings were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was unique and something my daughter who is not a fan of spice enjoyed. The chips and queso were good as well but it should be noted that our queso was thin, but thick enough to coat the chips. Finally, the love chips were the perfect ending. They are soft pillows of chips with a sweet sauce topping and powdered sugar. I'm not exactly sure what the topping was but you can certainly ask. We sat in the front and watched as the line of customers was fairly steady, but the team seemed to get everyone through with some precision and customer service.
