The food here was pretty good. The location that I went to was pretty far out but had very good reviews so I decided to go to that specific location. The food is kind of set up in front of you similar to Subway® how they have all of the little things you can get added onto your meal. It smelled really good inside of the restaurant and they do have seating areas where you can dine in. The restaurant looks really cool with the decorations and stuff they have on the walls. The people were extremely friendly who work there. They were extremely busy and I believe the store Manager was also helping make the orders because of how busy they were. The food tasted very fresh and was still pretty hot when we got home which was about 30 or so minutes away. The food is a little bit expensive for the portion that you receive, but it's not horrible. I feel like this is a similar cross between like Tijuana Flats and Chipotle but I definitely like this place a lot better. read more

I've never been here before, so everything was new to me. This concept is definitely fun and different. It's basically Tex Mex fusion but with a huge variety of options, including things you wouldn't normally expect to see at a burrito place, like General Tso's and Nashville Hot. There's a lot of freedom to customize, so if you like having tons of choices, they definitely deliver there. The restaurant itself was very clean, I opted for takeout and it was well presented, and the employees were genuinely friendly and helpful. No complaints at all about the service or overall experience. Where it lost me a little was the actual food quality. A lot of the ingredients had that preprepped or processed quick service taste rather than standing out as fresh or made in house. The best comparison I can think of is theme park quick service food, but better options. Nothing was bad, but for an entrée, side and drink I was around $25 for one person, and at that price I start comparing it to what I can get from a dine in restaurant or a place using better ingredients. The chips were very boring and the guac was like wholly guacamole at the the store. Would I eat here again? Yes. Would it automatically be my first choice over other options nearby? Probably not. Overall I really liked the concept, the staff was friendly and helpful, store cleanliness was comfort and presentation was clean. The food was enjoyable. Came to Bubbakoo's as part of a promotion they were offering. Ordered more than what was offered, so I could sample more things. The location is great. They have a huge, corner spot in a beautiful strip mall somewhere in the Lake Mary Twilight Zone area that's barely Lake Mary. Service was excellent. The young employees inside were very spy and cheerful early in the morning on a Sunday. They explained their whole menu pretty well, and it looked like they cooked my shrimp from raw, right there on the flattop. Very impressive. The food itself was amazing. The purchase I made were the Boardwalk Cookies (Crispy, golden, and decadently sweet. Classic Oreos dipped in batter, fried to perfection, and served warm--ooey, gooey, and totally irresistible. (5) per serving). Exactly as described. Warm, crispy batter on the outside, sweet and slightly ooey on the inside, just a much better version than what you'd find at some fair. Big fan. We came here tonight and got burrito bowls wow they are so good! I got the steak and shrimp with all the toppings. Garlic Parm sauce and Nashville sauce which was bit spicy. Pepsi products for the drinks I got me a Mountain dew. Bag of chips and salsa. Chips for good but served cold I wish they were warm. Beautiful store with lots of colors. I love the big pictures of the surfing and the skateboarding of the Jersey Shores. Great Food and very friendly and helpful service. I stopped by for a late lunch after the gym today to check them out. Staff were efficient and friendly. The restaurant has plenty of seating for lunch or dinner rushes inside and out; however, it looks like most of their business comes from takeout. While I was dining in there was at least 5 takeout pickups. They have several ring toss games by the condiments area you can bring to the table for fun. They also have a cornhole game setup outside as well. The restaurant is clean and the furniture is actually pretty comfortable. Two complaints I have are (1) the AC seemed to be off or down because it was like 80 degrees in the store. (2) Both the ladies and men's restrooms were out of service, so I couldn't use the restroom or wash my hands before or after my meal. Just an FYI - this is a Building Code Violation that needs to be resolved ASAP. Management might want to jump on this quick because Bubbakoo's is putting on a week-long Yelp Elite event starting tomorrow, 8/17/26; I know that I won't be the only one bringing this up. Although it's a bit expensive for some of their burritos ($16+) they do have some great deals. You can get a Value Meal for $10 which is awesome for lunch. They offer 4oz and 8oz chips and dip (3 types) that are reasonably priced. Their Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito is $12, which is a pretty good deal as well. For lunch I ordered the Birria Crunch Stack $14 which comes with a side of dipping broth. Lydia K. made my order and delivered it to me at the table. It was fresh, hot, and delicious. It had nice a nice crispy outside and a hard crispy shell in the center with a good amount of meat, cheese, and red onions. It was the perfect amount of food for a quick lunch. I was very happy with the meal, the service, friendliness of the staff, and dining environment. If they could get the AC and restrooms fixed this could have easily been a 5-star review. We were very excited to come here. However, overall we were disappointed. I will say the staff was very friendly. THis is basically Chipotle and Moe's competition. Same format, very similar foods. What makes them different is the options you can chose from. You can have bbq, or asian flavors, or tex mex....AND they do NOT skimp on the proteins like certain other chains. I got the Protein chicken bowl with cilantro white rice, black beans, corn salsa, tomatoes, and lettuce. It was so bland. No flavor. Even with the hot sauce it was just not much going on. The guac and chips were fine, again, nothing special. My guest got the steak and shrimp burrito bowl. It had a little more flavor but same complaint. The food just isn't anything special. I'm disappointed because even the branch manager (or possibly owner) stopped by and checked on us. Like I said the service was excellent. But just very underseasoned food. Seemed like they left out 2/5 of the toppings or put so little that it was virtually not noticeable. First time I ordered I didn't try the queso, and this time we decided to. It was inedible. Weird how it got wrapped up that way. Got it as it comes. But it really needs something more. Pickles were good. Rice was fine. Chicken was crispy and spicy. But it just didn't come together well. I think it needs some sort of queso or sour cream or ranch to pull it all together. It was only $14 but I thought it was a small portion. I ate the whole thing and was not stuffed. I would not recommend this burrito. I do love that they have delivery via Uber eats and I thought their packaging of our delivery was great. First time ordering and sadly disappointed. I ordered through Uber eats and when I opened my hibachi steak bowl is was barely ANY steak. I put it in a plate just to take a picture of how it was received. Flavor is there but they load you with rice and veggies and protein is barely there. $15 bucks? First visit here and we enjoyed the food and location is convenient in Lake Mary. Great plaza with a variety of food options and you can walk around and grab dessert down the way if you please. Very clean which is a big deal of course for a food establishment. Those in our general seating area that I could hear were very much enjoying their food and were complimenting it which speaks volumes! So you can imagine when the manager came around asking how their food was it was all positive things and happy they were to give their thoughts. It's rare you see managers do that and making sure the tables are being cleaned as soon as patrons leave. Love seeing that ! Dining area is great , they have outlets at the booths and counter seating which is huge & courteous considering we know our phones and kids tablets are always on low battery lol On to the food, all food is fresh and made to order. You literally hear them dropping your food as you're ordering. We ordered the Steak & Shrimp bowl and plain curly fries. I say plain because you can order your fries in a variety of ways with their different sauces. The sauces we ordered were sweet chili and Sriracha Ranch. All the toppings are soooo fresh and they have pickled jalapeños which were amazing ! We love spicy ! To me it gives me Tex-Mex vibes that's a fusion of Chipotle and Tijuana Flats but BETTER! First of all, I just want to say that the customer service here is 10/10. It was my first visit and the menu is very big and a little overwhelming. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the guy taking my order was ready to guide me through the process. I wish I had gotten his name because was so friendly and knowledgeable. He suggested the signature Hot Nashville Chicken burrito and a Chiwawa upgrade when I said I was interested in a bowl. The girls working the register were also ready to suggest sauces and topping. It's a Chipotle style deal so you pick your base (bowl, burrito, quesadilla, etc.) and your protein. They have way more protein options than chipotle and I was impressed with the 3 kinds of chicken and even steak and shrimp. The portions were generous for the price. I like that they toss them in your choice of sauce. Adds another level of customization. Unfortunately, the food itself just didn't hit. I tried the hot Nashville burrito the "house" way with fried chicken. It was so spicy that it was inedible. My wife and I each took one bite and threw the rest away. The employee had said it wasn't "that" spicy but I guess everyone's tolerance is different because it was unbearable. It may have been good with a different sauce but the Nashville sauce was peppery, vinegary and just not it. Disclaimer: my spicy tolerance isn't great so if you're a spicy veteran, don't let this review keep you from giving it a try. I also tried a build your own bowl with a Chiwawa base. This is a fried all of rice that's been cooked with mozzarella cheese. It was a little heavy but the flavor was good. The crunchiness of the rice was a bit off putting and I'd probably go with the regular rice next time. For my protein I had the grilled chicken with General Tso sauce. This was sweet and excellent. I put pretty much every topping on it and my favorite was the corn salsa. Smoky and flavorful. The bowl was definitely good but nothing outstanding. Overall it's a bit of a glorified Chipotle with more of a Qdoba vibe (if that makes sense). Sometimes less is more and even though the menu was bigger, the quality just didn't do it for me. For the price point I would rather go elsewhere. However, since the bowl was decent and I think I played myself by getting the (way too) hot Nashville burrito, I would be willing to give it another go and try something else. Again, based on customer service alone this place is a 5 but unfortunately it couldn't make up for the mediocre food. 2.5 rounded up. read more

New place to compete with Chipotle, Moe's and Qdoba. The menu included tacos, burritos, salad, nachos, quesadillas and then things the others do not have like wings, tater tots, fries and Chiw awa (rice and cheese ball that you could top). The location in Lake Mary (the address below) has only been open for a little over a week. Staff was welcoming, informative about choices and friendly. You order at the counter and fill your choice with the toppings you would like similar to the other places. We felt like some of the things in the burrito were warmer than others. The music was independent rock along with some classic rock. The fountain machine was not working and it does not appear that there is a plan for unsweet tea. I'm sure the fountain machine being out is just temporary but I would love for them to have tea (not bottled). Now for the food- Tater tots were crispy with very tasty cheese and bacon. Good! Nashville chicken burrito- excellent flavor! The protein was lukewarm. Quantity was very good. Scorpion pepper burrito- lives up to its name. It was . My husband can eat spicy and he said on a scale from 1 to 10, it was a 12. Good flavor! Steak and shrimp burrito- Good flavor! This burrito had lukewarm proteins, steak was a little chewy. The rice was not even lukewarm. It was a good quantity of filling. The burrito quesadilla- had very good flavor! It's basically a burrito that is put on the grill like a quesadilla. The carnitas were tender and flavorful. The fajita vegetables were fresh and still with some crisp. I think it is definitely worth a try, especially if you like the restaurants I mentioned above.
