I have been to Bubbakoo's twice! I was excited to try it, but I must admit I was disappointed both times. The place is very clean and the manager shows excellent customer service! The problem is the food lacks flavor! The shrimp was good with the sauce but everything else taste plain. No seasoning, no flavor, just blah! The rice is mushy and clumped together. The guacamole is extra money yet it's definitely not freshly made and it's straight from a bag! The pico is plain, and even the cheese isn't the best quality. This place isn't cheap so I think costumers deserve better quality! I think this place has a lot of potential, they need to hire a cook to give it some flavor! read more

What happened? Used to be our go to for take out. No more. Food was extremely salty. The queso dip was so watery, it ran off the salty chips. Definitely not the same. Not worth the $4 delivery charge when the food comes late, COLD, and soggy. read more

Horrible. I ordered the taco salad and it tasted ok, but I got so sick from it. Ordered quesadillas also and they were drenched in grease. I've never seen quesadillas look like this. I literally had to blot them with a napkin. We also ordered guacamole and it was already browning so couldn't even eat it. I will never go back here. read more

I was excited to try Bubbakoos, but I won't be back. The lettuce for my salad was tinged with brown, the "hot" salsa had no heat, nor did the medium. Oh, and the fajita veggies had no flavor. It was a tasteless experience. My husband's burrito was a bit better since he got chicken (my salad was vegetarian), but he still said it was just ok. We just ordered from here for the first time. They normally don't deliver to my area (no one does actually), but due to the current pandemic, Bubbakoo's in Mount Olive is currently delivering to us. I sincerely hope they continue to after "normal" life returns! The burritos are amazing! All of the dishes are large portions. The south western egg rolls are delicious - I wish there were more than four. When we placed our order the estimated time was 60-70 mins. They were here in about 35-40 mins! I kind of feel bad for this review as the entire staff was super friendly and engaged every customer as they were in line. I can't speak for every item on the menu so this review is only for what I ate. Based upon the grilled chicken burrito I would have given it a zero but the friendly people bumped this to a 2. I was there about 12:30 on a Friday and it was pretty busy. I got a grilled chicken burrito and I can guarantee you this was not fresh chicken, it must have been leftover from the day before. The chicken was cold, dry and stiff like it was at one point in the refrigerator. It was also pretty bland even with spicy sauce on it. I get trying to cut down on costs but I have never gotten leftover chicken at Chipotle. Based upon the staff I would give this place another shot to try something other than the grilled chicken burrito. I also got the chips & guacamole which was fine. The guac had a bit of a strange consistency but tasted fine. Please make sure all of your ingredients are made fresh the day being served especially the meat, chicken is unforgiving after being refrigerated. read more

Was looking forward to the opening, especially with what appeared to be a larger variety of selections than I am accustomed to at other similar venues like Dos Toros, Qdoba and the like. Could not have have been more disappointed, a roughly 30 minute wait at 1 pm on a Sunday to get a burrito is just plain silly and while we thought of leaving, and now in hindsight wish we did, we stuck it out although I am assuming this will straighten itself out with time open and the staff becoming more familiar and comfortable with service. More importantly though was the food, as good food can and will often times overcome and outshine other shortcomings, but this did nothing more than compound and reinforce it. The food was bland, rice dry and clumpy, and ingredients put into the burrito so unevenly that while you hope to get a bite of everything with most bites, I got halfway through the burrito only eating rice and beans and missing all the other ingredients I had put into it. A little more time and thought into how to put them in evenly and folding it properly, yes those two things are really important believe it or not, would go a long way here. Overall, very very disappointing for a town that so sorely lacks and needs better food options. read more

We love the burritos here. They are huge and delicious. They have a ton of options for protein and toppings so you can really customize your burrito exactly how you like it. The one negative I would say is that it is often very busy so you may have to wait on a long line to order. We started ordering online and picking up to avoid it. Great place! read more

Was never a big fan of Chipotle, Moes was just ok. The quality of the seasoned meats and the added sauces, including Ghost Chili sauce was different. The offer to taste the sauce was a good touch. Got one burrito for my wife and one for myself. Only negative is that standing from the outside it seemed awfully dark. I really didn't know if they were open. The 2 *'s are really for the enthusiastic service. Ordered a burrito because, well, its a burrito place and I happen to love burrito's. First off the guy tries to get me to order a "premium" meat (which is more money)...but I chose the ground beef which unfortunately, was very bland. The clincher here really, was that the 1st thing he hit my burrito with was a HUGE pile of rice. My burrito turned out to be about 90% rice even tho I added beans, cheese, etc. so that's pretty much all I tasted throughout the whole thing. Decided to try Bubbakoo's at the request of my granddaughters. I had a burrito bowl with grilled chicken, as did one of my granddaughters. We both added rice, beans and corn. I was somewhat surprised when I asked for the grilled peppers and onions and was told they cost extra. The same applied to guacamole. In my opinion, they should be included with the price of the bowl, but we chose them anyway not knowing how much extra we were paying. The food was good, but a little flat. read more

Ordered from here last night for the first time, we didn't know they did delivery until a friend mentioned it so that made us try. The food was good and portions were HUGE, even my husband couldn't finish his burrito. He and I both got burritos and all of the ingredients we asked for were correct. We were able to get takeout for us and 3 kids (two of which are boys so they eat a lot) for around $50 which is impressive! My one complaint and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the delivery time/food temperature. When we ordered the food the website said it was going to take about an hour which wasn't a big deal, we were ordering at dinner time and we're a little further away from the restaurant so I knew it would be a bit. The food got here almost half an hour after it was supposed to and it was COLD like it was probably in the drivers car for a while. Even with that I would definitely order again, but I would probably ask for things like lettuce and sour cream on the side so I could easily reheat the food when it got here. read more

Horrible service. Went in for the first time ever, to try it out. I was waiting for about 5-7 minutes (fine, no problem). The guy said he would be right with me. As I am waiting, some old lady comes right up to the glass and he takes her ahead of me AFTER he LITERALLY saw me there and said he would be right with me. I told him I was ahead of this lady and was short on time because I was on a lunch break. He said "oh sorry" and kept taking the other ladies order instead of stopping and taking me first and letting the other person know they would be next. BTW old lady KNEW she cut me and didn't care. The food here is very good, however i recently found out that the tips you add on the receipt do not go to the workers, but the managers take those tips. If you want your tip money to go where you planned, make sure you tip them cash! Other than that, its a great place. The line moves smoothly and overall is decent mexican food. read more
