Resharing my Yelp Elite Week at Bubbakoo's Burritos: Popped in Bubbakoo's Burritos for lunch for the Yelp Elite Week experience, and I was, as always, pleasantly surprised. I visited the Orlando location, since it was the one closest to my side of town. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the servers (a young man and a young woman). Both were super kind and had these really great smiles on their face. So, that was quite inviting. It was a rainy day, so I was the only one there when I arrived. The interior is decent. Standard chain restaurant design - nothing to brag about there. I did really enjoy the fun pop of green throughout the restaurant. The servers both tag-teamed walking me through the menu, and I opted to make a burrito bowl. I went with their chicken option, paired it with white rice, cooked/grilled veggies, pico, cilantro, onions, corn, and cheese. I kept it pretty simple. I got the sauce for the burrito bowl on the side alongside the chips and salsa. As far as flavor profiles go, the food was good. The chicken tasted great (to me). With everything all blended, it was pretty tasty. I'd go back again if I am ever in the area and have a craving for a burrito bowl. I do like that they have various burrito & bowl options. Pricing seems okay. There's a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was a rainy day, there was no one sitting outdoors. Chipotle style eatery but the meats are freshly cooked in griddle before placing into the burrito or whichever you choose (taco,bowl etc) Yelp Elite Meal (free) includes your choice of protein/entree - I chose burrito with steak & shrimp with cilantro rice, corn salsa, cheese, pinto beans, sour cream, guacamole, and onions. It came with bag of chips and choice of dipand I opted for the guacamole. Also came with drink. The style offering is pretty much like Chipotle but the only difference is they freshly griddle cook the meats of choice. They start the burrito with warming it up then adding the toppings while the meat / shrimp is being cooked. The burrito is not as big as chipotle but it was enough. I requested to cut the burrito in 1/2 and wrapped separately. The taste was not as good as Chipotle imo, The rice was not fluffy tender and the meat / shrimp was under seasoned. Beans were kind of hard. It was still a decent meal nonetheless. Experiencing these Yelp events to capture a restaurant and the foods they serve helps customers see if the food is decent enough to keep trying them out afterwards. This place was amazing. The staff was absolutely nice and welcoming. The environment was welcoming. The cuckoo was also the server gave me great suggestions for this was my first time coming to this restaurant. It reminded me of another popular restaurant, but this had a great twist to it, adding Beria tacos and empanadas and more. I tried the Beriadilla which was suggested to me, and it was absolutely delicious. I had to purchase my son at a burrito which he couldn't get over how delicious it was. I will say that the rice was a little dry that day but still very flavorful and fresh. The protein was prepared fresh and that was awesome! However, it wasn't enough. Then again it could just be me. I may just have ordered the wrong item. The crunchstack and the quesadilla was great! Not too much and not too little but could use a little more but that is just me. I still thoroughly enjoyed all that I ordered. My fav definitely was the quesadilla. The Birria Crunchstack would be my favorite but was not a huge fan of the sauce but still very tasty. You know what, the cunrchstack is actually my favorite. I would definitely order it again but maybe not as Birria if that is possible. Nonetheless, pretty decent Mexican place. I have been to the bubbakoo in Celebration before, but I didn't remember it as a good experience so this place was not on my radar until I saw the $10 meal deal. The staff was super friendly. I know some people like to complain that things can take a while to get at Bubbakoo's, but my experience tells me the wait is worth it! I ordered the California Steak burrito and they dropped fresh fries, cooked fresh steak, and made everything perfect from scratch. The employees were super helpful and polite, I can be a bit indecisive and the gal who helped me was so patient and gave some great suggestions. The chips were crisp and seasoned perfect. It is such a cool little shop with a bar counter to enjoy a cold beer while you wait, and the entire store was nearly spotless. Great experience all around! read more

The Venue very spacious. Love the vibe! They have a little bar area with TVs. And everything was very clean. Everyone was very attentive. Both food handlers were so nice! And the cashier was verh friendly. We had 3 meals. The first being a burrito with grilled chicken, rice, beans, bbq sauce, pico, lettuce, cilantro, onions, guac, and cheese. The 2nd was a taco trio with hibachi shrimp, sweet chili sauce, and a few basic toppings. And the 3rd was a chicken tender kids meal for my daughter, which I was very happy we had a fries option instead of the chips! Starting with the chips and salsa- delicioussssssssss! My daughter wanted to bottle up the salsa and take it home. The burrito was humongous. It was packed. Very well wrapped, and each bite had all the ingredients. Chicken was well seasoned. Guac was good. And the bbq sauce was nice and sweet. And last were the shrimp tacos. I really wanted shrimp and they were sooo good. All meals were great and they have good pricing/deals. I stopped in here for lunch today as I had discovered there was one here not long ago. I was coming from Disney Springs and heading to do some shopping up on Sand Lake Road so this was the perfect area to stop in. There are quite a few places in this complex to dying and so far I've had good food from all that I've been to. This area has really been built up in recent years. So he stopped in here during lunch and I was able to walk right up to the counter. I did have to wait a couple minutes before someone offered to take my order and then they had to step away quickly because the alarm was going off for the deep fryer and the taco shells were done. The other gentlemen working stepped over and took my order. I picked the General Tso's tacos which is kind of a fusion of Hispanic and Asian food. Then the website they come with a choice of crunchy chicken or extra crunchy chicken and then it's tossed in the sauce which is fairly mild and they add some of their lime rice along with cilantro, jalapeños and lettuce. It also comes with some chips. I asked for extra jalapeños. I realized later I should've asked for extra sauce. My food was prepared quickly and set up for me to dine in because I told them I was eating there. I did get a drink to go with my meal and I found myself a seat to enjoy my tacos. The jalapeños are very unevenly sliced, and there were some very large pieces in these. I probably got more than I intended, but I did like them. My problem was that the chicken itself just needed more sauce. I tried to piece on its own and was able to confirm this. The chips were good and helped balance the burn from the jalapeños. My meal was filling and enjoyable. When I was done, I went to refill my drink and grab a lid and a straw to take with me. I went over and filled it up and grabbed a straw, and I couldn't find any lids. I turned around and saw some lives on the counter, but when I walked over and looked, I realized they were only for larger cups. One of the employees walked over to see if they could help me and when I asked about a lid they said "oh sorry we don't have any lids for that size cup". I kind of felt that it would've been nice if they had offered me a cup that I could put a lid on, but I just took my soda with me and drank a bit so it wouldn't spill in the car on my drive. The surprise was that I got a text from Bubbakoos asking me to answer a few questions survey about my visit when I was in the car. So I filled out the survey and explained about my meal and that I enjoyed it, but they had no lids and I should've gotten more sauce for my tacos. Part of that is really on me. They were very busy once I was seated and I did not want to bother them. Someone from management sent me a message later thanking me for my review and apologizing for the issue I had and gave me a gift card towards my next meal. Visited Bubbakoo's for the first time today. I was not disappointed and my experience was excellent in all important respects. Arrived about 4:45pm and was third in line. The space is clean and offers about 8 booths, only one of which was occupied. As with most of its competitors, Bubbakoo's offers counter service, but with a far more extensive menu than I have come to expect from such restaurants. My companion and I placed our orders and had our meals in hand within five minutes of arriving. I ordered a vegetarian bowl with brown rice, black beans, fajita vegetables and various salsas. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Also ordered chips and guac. Guac was smooth, perhaps a little bit smoother than I like, but still flavorful and very much enjoyed. My companion ordered shrimp tacos. Shrimp was made to order -- a very nice touch. Close to our resort, and different enough from Moe's or Chipotle that we didn't feel like we were just having the same thing. They had a board full of special concoctions to choose from or a big "build your own" menu. Tons of proteins and toppings to choose from as well as a wide variety of sauces ranging from just tasty to setting your mouth on fire. I had a spicy buffalo cauliflower bites burrito, the husband and one son had a shrimp burrito situation and my youngest customized tacos. We shared chips, salsa and queso - all pretty good. Ate at the Glasshouse Lane location and it was AMAZING!! First time here and we got the steak n shrimp bowl and the Philly burrito plus fried cauliflower. First time going to this establishment and based on the reviews, I was excited to try it out. We went around 10:40 am on a weekend and there were only one couple ahead of us in line. The place itself is clean and they have a little bar area where you can sit and watch sports on the tv. The gentleman at the counter greeted us and told the other female employee to help take our order as he had to make the order for the couple ahead of us. I decided to get the vegetarian burrito with white rice, pinto beans. I also wanted the fajita topping but she mentioned it was getting ready and I'd have to wait a couple more minutes. I chose to bypass that option since I was running short on time and just choose other fixings. She rang up our order which also included Nashville chicken burrito along with chicken wings. I also mentioned I wanted to use my reward of free chips and queso. (If you sign up on there rewards club on their website, you will get a free coupon for the chips and queso.) Our order total was $31. The food took almost 20 minutes to prepare and once she was done, she handed me the receipt/food and we went on our way. I realized when we reached the parking lot she forgot to put my chips and queso. I then went back to let her know and she handed me a bag. I walk back again toward my car and checked the bag and just saw it was just chips. The queso was not there. I had to then go back again and wait for a couple of minutes. She acknowledged my presence and handed me the queso. There was no apology which is fine I get mistakes can happen but the fact that I wasted almost 30 minutes when it wasn't even that busy, is what gets me. When we got home, we were hoping the food was better than the customer service but unfortunately it was not. The white rice they put in our burritos just had no flavor just tasted like plain white rice. My burrito overall tasted bland but I added the white queso and that elevated the flavor abit. My husband's chicken wings were pretty small and just ok. The Nashville hot chicken burrito was spicy but again not much flavor overall and not enough chicken. Also, the receipt that the cashier gave me was not itemized so I could not check if I was charged properly. For $31 and a 30 minute wait with below average customer service and overpriced food, I would not send my worst enemy here. read more

I'm very disappointed with my experience at Bubbakoo's Burritos. This is the second time I've ordered a BOGO special and only received one item instead of two. On top of that, my order today (4/29/25) was completely wrong. I ordered 2 orders of BOGO chicken burritos. I received only 2 chicken "bowls" instead of 4 chicken burritos. After giving the Sand Lake and Kirkman multiple chances, I can no longer justify returning. I was hopeful they'd get it right, but three strikes is enough.
