I've frequented this location many times. I appreciate that they are sometimes accommodating to allergies. I have a severe dairy allergy, however there's been two times that a young woman who works there have told me that a certain item was dairy free and by looking at the menu I could confirm it was not. I asked a separate employee to confirm and they reiterated it was not dairy free. So I wouldn't get anything on the menu that wasn't obviously dairy free (like plain meet, plain white ride, etc). Shrimp and steak taste good each time. My only complaint with the rice is when you uber eats an order from here, twice I've received rice that had gooey cilantro in it. It's better to order in person. Having the rice seasoned with cilantro is great, if it's fresh. But if it's rotten and wilted, it makes for a very sour tasting rice which tastes bad and leaves one feeling ill. While I think the chain is great, this specific location may not be my favorite. There's a few others nearby I'd recommend! If you're trying to hit macros or eat carnivore-only and just need steak/shrimp, I recommend ordering a rice bowl without rice and just getting the meats. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the food. I ordered the tostada salad with shredded chicken and my hubby got the burritodilla with ground beef. That was a miraculous masterpiece!! It's like a hybrid food item haha. It's a DELICIOUS custom burrito inside, but a nice crispy exterior that is shaped like a quesadilla, made to order; aka FRESH! My salad was LOADED with toppings and the shredded chicken was jam packed with flavor. Super crispy shell as a bowl, and held all the juicy goodness inside. Very delightful to eat flavor wise and texture wise. There are so many options for toppings; house salsa, pico de gallo, two different types of beans, sauces based on spice level, veggies etc. The ambiance is comfortable and familiar, as I grew up on a skateboard/surfboard. Wasn't crazy about the idea of coming here, generally speaking I'm not a fan of burritos filled with a bunch of rice and beans. Well this place had a nice twist. My wife got a bowl with lettuce and shrimp, very good. I had buffalo chicken quesadillas, it was really good. The cauliflower bits had a breading that was a little hard. Bubbakoo's Burritos in O-Town West fills an interesting gap in the fast casual Mexican scene. It's different enough from the Chipotle's and Tijuana Flats of the world to intrigue you and get you to try it - but I'm not sure it's got that special something that will get me to come back again and again. I like the better quality hibachi steak that's an option and the flavors are all really decent. I will say everything feels very heavy when you eat it - not sure it's the healthier choice although I may need to try some different menu items. The dining area isn't great - it's kinda cold and uninviting. It wasn't particularly comfortable and the service was also a bit cold and bothered we were there as well. This was my first time trying Bubbakoo's Burritos and I can't wait to go back! This new location has great seating both inside and on the patio out front. They also have bar-like seating with TV's. I love the decor- very Jersey beach town vibes. They are dietary-restriction friendly with keto, vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. Everyone was very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing! I did the create your own bowl vegan style- rice, beans, and every single topping they had to offer, plus a side of chips and salsa and a fountain drink. They serve Pepsi products at the soda fountain and have a large selection of pre-bottled drinks like tea, Gatorade, energy drinks, and more. The staff came around to check on you as you're eating- making it feel like a full service restaurant. I ended up trying the Love Chips (vegan ingredients- but they cross contaminate with meats in the fryer) that were absolutely delicious. They made sure I was aware of this before serving, too! Our Family found Babakoo's Burritos in 2024 while on vacation in Orlando. We went back to Orlando with extended family and we all wanted to go back to Bubbakoo's daily! We ate there three times and that was our last stop and we drove back to Myrtle Beach, SC as well. . The staff were all inviting and fun to talk to. Blake was there all three of our visits, and Joe was there for two- it was nice talking to them. STAFF WAS AMAZING. Great food- fresh, flavorful and worth every penny! Rows upon rows of these little discs, wrapped around all manner of fillings. I believe they called them "tortillas." Now, I must confess, I found myself a bit perplexed by these "tortillas." I mean, what exactly are they? Are they bread? Are they pancakes? Are they some sort of hybrid creature? I simply couldn't wrap my mind around it. But I must say, despite my confusion, I was quite impressed by the overall experience at Bubbakoo's Burritos. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food...oh, the food! I opted for the classic chicken burrito, and let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. The chicken was tender and juicy, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the beans were oh so savory. And all of this wrapped up in that mysterious "tortilla" thing. But what really set Bubbakoo's apart, in my opinion, was the sheer variety of fillings and toppings available. They had everything from classic beef and pork to more adventurous options like tofu and shrimp. And the toppings! Don't even get me started on the toppings. Guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, jalapenos...the list goes on and on. And let's not forget about the sides. The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, and the queso...oh, the queso. This was a great find on my vacation! It's in the newer shopping area between Disney and International drive/Seaworld. There's plenty of parking and has an eat in area or takeout. What's fun about this place are the different options for burritos/tacos. Instead of just the standard Mexican flavors, they have yummy options like a hibachi steak and shrimp burrito or Nashville hot chicken. The sweet chili sauce is delicious! The portions are equivalent to chipotle. They also have wings and tots/fries and sandwiches... something for everyone. It's also like chipotle in that you can choose what you want and add the toppings you like. We got takeout and the staff were super helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Everything we tried (burrito, tacos, wings, chiwawa) was super yummy! The chiwawa was a fried cheesy rice ball that is split then covered with queso and then you chose what's on top - we did chicken in sweet chili sauce and added toppings.....sooo good!! I just love this place! I have gone about three days in a row (dont judge me) because the tacos are on point. The different combinations of meats and toppings create an endless tasting menu. My boyfriend swears by the Nashville Hot Chicken burrito, but I have been too obsessed with the hard shell tacos to try it! It is on my list though along with several other combinations of entrees. Also, the staff is always so nice to us and the girl with glasses and nose ring is so welcoming and always makes me feel happy to be there. A plus for me is the strawless lids, they make life so much easier without creating unnecessary waste. I do think the menu is a tad overwhelming as there are SO many options and it may simplify the process but cutting back on some ingredients. But personally they manage well and the food always comes out fresh and tasty. The deals and prices are also a huge win for this place and I can usually get lunch/dinner for two people with drinks and chips to split for under $40. I did the build your own burrito with the Carnitas, serano pepper sauce, white rice, pinto beans, cheese, lettuce, and salsa. I really liked how many sauce options there were with various levels of spice. There were also preselected burrito options with combinations I don't normally see like Nashville hot crispy chicken burrito. They also have all their burrito options as bowls. I had been looking forward to this place opening since the menu looked exciting with items like Hibachi Steak & Shrimp Burrito and Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito. There was also the Burritodilla and the Chiwawa (a panko fried ball of rice that your selected items go on top of). I assumed it was a Tex-Mex fusion concept. The menu is overwhelming when my son and I were reviewing it when we arrived. When it was our turn to order, I asked about the limited time Street Tacos - how were those different than the regular tacos on the menu? The guy taking our order told me it was on the smaller soft tortillas, instead of the larger soft ones or the hard ones (I figured out they were soft corn tortillas and the larger ones are flour tortillas). Since I love corn tortillas, I got that which comes with three tacos and chips. I wanted steak for the meat but they cook that to order and I didn't want to wait. I went with the carnitas instead. I declined having a sauce added to the meat (I'll get to that later) and then got pico de gallo. My son ordered the Burritodilla thinking it was a signature dish but it turns out it is just a quesadilla with the larger burrito size tortilla. So he got the regular items he usually gets in a quesadilla - ground beef, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. For drinks, I asked if they have brewed iced tea and they don't, only bottled teas, so I just got a water. Our meals were fine, but really nothing different, in my mind, from any of the other Mexican quick serve restaurants where you choose your meat and toppings. The only thing different is they have several wings sauces like Nashville hot, sweet chili, buffalo, etc, that they will mix in with your meat choice, and that's what makes all of their signature menu items. We didn't think there was anything really special or fantastic that would make us come back here because we aren't a fan of the sauces. They have less add items on than Moe's They were twice as expensive as any burrito place I have been to. I purchased the quesadillas it was greasy and the Chicken was grilled, and totally dried out.
