The menu has been cut in half, the service is not as good as it used to be, the prices have increased, and they are no longer willing to make exceptions or modify most of the cocktails; even when asking for something simple like a replaced spirit for an up-charge or to accommodate allergies. It's been getting a little more "club" atmosphere recently. The music is louder, the clientele a little more rowdy. Maybe some prefer that, but we miss the elevated cocktail lounge it used to be.

We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.

The event included a welcome cocktail, gin tasting, a tapas bar, live music, and a flower truck outside with a florist making up individual bouquets. Even without all those perks, it's just a really cozy place to hang out and have a delicious gin cocktail.
