The food here is pricey but it's decent quality. Five tacos, two churros, and a queso side were $36. I guess I'm too used to California priced tacos. When I see a taco priced at $4, I hurt a little bit inside. Standouts in the menu were the shrimp taco. The brisket had too many chunks of fat for me. The churros had a nice flavor but $4 per churro is a bit steep. Service was smooth and efficient. All the workers were friendly and polite. The inside of the restaurant was colorful and clean. On a nice day they probably open up the area and give it a nice indoor outdoor feel. I would recommend giving this place a try.

I really don't remember the types of tacos we ordered but to be honest it doesn't matter, they were not that good. For $3 a taco and $8 for nachos we should have had something special on our tray. Our tacos were about room temperature and what vegetables on the tacos we had were dry and barely eatable. One thing I kept noticing while I ate was one of the cashiers would turn around and put her right hand under running water and then dry them....no soap was used and only the right hand...things that make you go hmmmm? I spent $32 for our order would have been better spent at Taco Bell. I will not return.

The one by Dayton Mall closed and I was gunned because I usually go for a taco that's cheap and way better than TB. I popped in here while out to see if the same as other location. Much busier so can see why they continue to be open. There other location was like a ghost town and service was iffy. Here I was greeted right away and saw five tables filled and a family in line. Grill was busy with orders and staff was quick to announce orders by name. The other location held food but you had to wait to receive.Same service for salsa in fridge by beverage station. Super low tonight as I got last rojo. I could have asked for more but I was good. Here's the thing $4 for their taco versus is TB wins in my book. My taco had too much sauce but was ok otherwise. 180 calories is ok for me and at least it wasn't reconstituted beans which is all I ever eat at TB and hate myself for later.

    To Go Margaritas

THE MARGARITAS BRO!!! slowly fries you after one drink. Two drinks your done. The tacos are good but the liquor is winning

This is our favorite place to eat Ohio wide. We have traveled the world many times over and the service and quality of food cannot be matched.

Tacos were okay, a bit too Americanized for my taste. I enjoyed my special margarita, it tasted like ice cream!

El Bueno Taco - Fairfield Commons Mall A 90s Mall Food Court…read moreThrowback... but make it delicious Walking into the Fairfield Commons food court felt like stepping straight back into a 90s mall montage--bright colors, neon vibes, and that classic food‑court energy we all secretly miss. And right there, tucked across from Bath & Body Works, is a small, non‑chain gem that absolutely deserves your attention: El Bueno Taco. Before you roll your eyes at "mall food," hear me out. This place is the real deal. The Food We ordered three Al Pastor tacos and a chorizo & steak sopes, and let me tell you--this is where El Bueno Taco shows off. Al Pastor Tacos Perfectly seasoned, slightly smoky pork with that signature hint of sweetness from the pineapple. The meat is tender, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. It's the kind of taco that makes you pause mid‑chew and go, "Oh... okay, they're not playing." Chorizo & Steak Sopes The sopes come out thick, warm, and beautifully crisp on the edges. The steak is tender and well‑seasoned, the chorizo brings that bold, savory kick, and the whole thing is layered with fresh toppings that make it feel hearty without being heavy. It's comfort food with personality. The Vibe Typical mall parking--well‑lit, plenty of space, easy in and out. The food court is on the second floor, and El Bueno Taco is easy to spot thanks to the fun, colorful décor that gives the whole area a cheerful, welcoming feel. Final Thoughts If you're craving tacos that taste like they came from a street‑side taquería rather than a mall, this is your spot. Small business, big flavor, and a nostalgic setting that somehow makes the whole experience even better. El Bueno Taco is officially on my "unexpected mall wins" list.

I love the combos that come with chips and cheese. I like getting the traditional tacos, one pork, chicken and steak! The chicken and steak are out of the world good!

I've had plantains in the past, but these were certainly the best I've tried. For entrees, we went with arroz con pollo and bandeja paisa which was basically an assortment platter. I was a little disappointed in the arroz con pollo. Rice was over cooked and the flavor was overall muted. For dessert, we tried obleas -- thin waffles filled with jam, caramel and cheese. The waffles weren't true waffles, but more just cracker type. Again, rather disappointing but maybe I just don't have the right taste for it. The service was excellent, and we did enjoy the appetizers. Entrees and dessert were a let down. Overall, 3 stars in my book.
