Everything on the menu is good, great atmosphere with TVs all around, very popular for dinner and wait can be longer than desired at times.

Great family place which has plenty of TVs showing sports. Servers were great and attentive. Plenty of low costing options to order from. I had the shrimp appetizer that was better than it looked and had plenty to eat as the main meal. Wife was looking forward to the lasagna but it was sold out. So she had the chicken and pasta dish but wasn't too impressed with the chicken and pasta dish. After paying we thought this dinner would be a solid four or possibly five; however, our takeout order of wings for the kid wasn't prepared right. We wanted both a rub and wings tossed in sauce but the order only contain the rub. The lack of the sauce on the wings would be the only mistake this establishment would make during the evening. read more

The only spot to watch sports in the area. After trying a few other places that were understaffed or just plain dead, it was nice to find some place with plenty of TVs, plenty of people to make the atmosphere, and plenty of staff to keep the food and drinks coming. First time is the last time. Got here at 3pm - Monday. BOTH hostesses were telling people....let me get this figured out (to seat people). seriously, isn't that YOUR job? I am looking at pagers, offering my name and you didn't even mention we could just sit at the bar than linger in the lobby, while you 'figured it out'. Four other customers walked into the bar at the same we did. Couple one got thier food first, couple two got thier food next, some random guy who came after us got his order, the next random guy after that got his to go order. I had to ask where our order was. Our food was borderline cold, meaning it sat in the back for who knows how long. The chicken was salty, the hoagie roll.....so so...nothing special....the fries limp. Only plus was the bubbas sauce (bbq, sour cream and mayo). Only got served one drink, never offered a refill or another beer or anything .... So don't believe the hype folks.....want a philly steak.....go to the experts at Taste of Philly......they KNOW how to make the sandwich AND fries. read more

Bubbas has become my family's go to restaurant in the springs. The menu touches every base and it's all fantastic. My personal favorite is the smoked Turkey sandwich. It's hard to order anything else after trying it! The staff is always pleasant and regardless how busy they get, the wait never seems to be more than 20-30 minutes. If I could give this place a thousand stars I would! This is my #1 go to restaurant in the entire state! Everything on the menu is absolutely terrific. I'm a huge boxing fan and two of my favorite fighters were fighting on my B-Day and the manager made sure my family and I had perfect seating for the event. She made sure everything was perfect! Tuesday nights they have a pizza deal and we have enjoyed several pizza styles without complaint. We stopped in for a burger. The habenero burger was really delicious. Habenero was definitely a chunky pico de gallo style not a sauce as the menu lead me to believe. I think we will more often get items to go the lighting is terrible imo. Blue lights everywhere notoriously bad for your eyes. Yellow lighting above our both made it incredibly difficult to gauge just how pink inside my burger was. The TV situation is pretty impressive more big screens than pretty much every sports bar/ restaurant I have been in. Screens set to sports, chive tv (kind of like youtube adrenaline and fail compilation vids while we were there) , & music videos. Lighting probably the only thing I wish I could change. read more

We decided to eat here after a late night as this is one of the only places to go when it is late. We have been here before and the service and food were always pretty good. Unfortunately this time was drastically different. We sat down and waited a while before our server showed up. When she showed up she asked what we wanted, we ordered some drinks and an appetizers, and our main dishes at the same time. After a significant time we did not have our food and needed some refills on our drinks. She finally showed up with our food and the appetizers at the same time. She blamed the kitchen for putting out the appetizers and the main course at the same time, however the appetizers were stone cold and the main dishes were warm which told us that the appetizers were out sitting and she failed to bring them to us. She came back one time the rest of the night and didn't look at us but asked if we needed anything and proceeded to disappear for the rest of the night. Kaitlin is amazing! Best server my husband and I have had in a minute. Attentive, had our orders in super quick and remembered everything we had correctly! The shot gun shrimp was SO GOOD! Just the right amount of spice and sweetness. The wings were cooked perfectly, perfect temp and flavor. The burger I ordered (sunshine burger) was cooked perfectly with bacon, caramelized onions, cheese and a fried egg -- the only thing I wish was that the egg was runny! Yum! Finally tried Bubba's today and so glad we did! Last meal with my Bubba, before he returned to Twentynine Palms, back home visiting on his post deployment leave. From the fried pickles, sangria margarita, my daughter's double "Bubba burger" (which she couldn't finish) to the buffalo chicken sandwiches and fries, everything was delicious!!! Also enjoyed being able to finish up our visit with a game of corn hole outside, in which I kicked my Bubba's butt. We'll definitely be back! read more

My Husband and I went in tonight Sunday June 11 for the happy hour/late night menu, see picture below. My husband ordered a corona, that was brought to him then we placed our order. I was pointing at the specific separate menu why talking to the waitress that was attached to the menu caddy and we only ordered items off of this menu. When the bill came the items were at full price. We questioned and we were told that the order was made at 9:23 and the menu started at 9:30. I explained we obviously would've waited 7 minutes and my husband would have had his beer, and again these were only items off this menu, aside from the beer. After speaking with the manager, she was not willing to honor the price. We come into Bubbas quite often. This was really disappointing, considering we specifically came in for this menu. We came in to enjoy the ambience as we always have and to relax with a few drinks and apps after a long day. We left pissed off and put in a bad mood. The server Rachel, was a really good server and probably one of the best servers we've had there, but after this we did not leave a tip. The manager had the chance to make it right and only offered a free app for our next visit- No thanks we won't be back, and clearly your customers are just another number and dime in your pocket. My husband and I have both worked in the food service industry for several years and personally know this manager could've made it right, but chose not too. This sports bar is worth a visit. It's big and has lots of TVs. We went during Bronco's Monday night football and the place was packed, of course. Once we got a table the service was crazy fast for being so busy. I was surprised how fast our apps came out. The shotgun shrimps is a must try. I wasn't so crazy about the chicken nachos though. There is some white cheese sauce they put on that makes the chips soggy. The downside that others have mentioned is that's it's loud. That's probably due to the concrete floor and wood walls and ceilings. There's nothing to absorb the noise. read more

One of my favorite spots in the Springs to grab a drink and a bite to eat! The sandwiches are HUGE, yet delicious. Their wings and pizza are awesome as well. I'm a basic pepperoni pizza gal, but one of my favorite wing sauces is their Shotgun sauce that they also use on their shotgun shrimp. Also, you can't go wrong with their strawberry mule. If you like Mules, you have to try this drink... it is literally amazing! They've got some pretty tasty frozen margaritas too! Bubbas is a fun place to eat, with a lot of different options. Ok I had high hopes but they were unfortunately not met. I started off ordering onion rings and wings. The onion rings fell apart as they were lifted off the serving plate. They were served with a dipping sauce. To be honest the worst onion rings we have encountered in our seven months living in Colorado. Now as to the wings just like the onion rings not so good. They were ordered with the hot sauce. These wings will easily be forgotten. Nothing memorable at all about the wings. Based upon the appetizers we made the decision to pass on any other food. I agree with the greasy fries. I liked the toasty, crispy bun on my bacon burger. I didn't taste much of a difference with bacon in the patty. I didn't like the Bubba sauce, but my hubby did. We ordered the layered fries, but figured later that we probably could have had the fries that came with the burger layered instead. I didn't like the skinny fries ... they tasted and felt a little funny. Kudos on a nice lump of Bleu cheese in the dressing. As for atmosphere, the music was really loud outside. It actually was quieter once we got inside the building. The family next to us was watching the many televisions and the dad kept swearing and yelling. Placed my first order to-go and after that one order I was hooked! I visited on Monday, Burger night where any burger is $7.99! I got the South of the Border Burger which has queso and chorizo on top of the burger! I also got sweet potato fries and their special "Bubba's Sauce" That burger was huge and absolutely blew my mind. The queso and chorizo were the perfect addition, and this is one of my favorite burgers of all time. The sweet potato fries were a little soggy from sitting so long on the drive home but even still they were amazing. And I 12/10 recommend the Bubbas sauce as that sauce is what dreams are made of. My dad and I came back a few days later and I tried their boneless wings and of course got more sweet potato fries, this time they were crispier and even more amazing. My dad got a chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries for his side and that sandwich is huge. The piece of chicken is big enough for two sandwiches. His fries had seasoning on them which I'm assuming is their fire fry seasoning. Amazing food and the staff seem super friendly. 12/10 recommend read more

I've been here several times with my family, and both times we had great meals. My kids loved the pizza, which is made from a beer-based dough, and the burgers come with the option for 33% bacon, which is pretty good. However, the last few times we've had subpar service (the waitstaff were practically nonexistent, almost no drink refills, even had to ask the shift managers for silverware) and they seem to be skimping on the portions. Bubbas used to be a great example of an American restaurant chain, but it now feels like they're trying to maximize profits at the expense of customer satisfaction. We likely won't be back, as there are so many better options for food in the Springs. read more

The best part of Bubba's 33 are all the tv screens. Don't get attached to watching something because the channel will be changed to something that is already on 7 other TVs. The food was a major disappointment. I wanted a patty melt which they don't serve. I opted instead for their Aloha Chicken with tater tots and broccoli. The chicken was good. Not a lot of aloha flavor but cooked. The tater tots tasted just like Ore Ida frozen oven baked you can buy in the grocery store. My husband the Sunshine burger which is a burger with an egg over Easy on top. Guess what? The egg was a fried burnt egg. There was no Over Easy about it. When my husband mentioned it to the server her response was that she was sorry. The manager came over because she knew it was our first time. When my husband told her about the egg she laughed and said she needed to teach the guys how to cook. The burger should have been taken off our bill. If you are looking for a great burger don't waste your time at Bubba's 33... We will never go back!! So promising but nope!!! read more

Never been here before and my family and I wanted to try it. The servers were really friendly, food came out fairly quick. My hamburger tasted great, my husband said his was good as well. The reason I'm giving 2 stars .. is because they served my 13 year old daughter a rotten chicken burger. She swallowed a bite even tho she thought to herself this chicken taste weird. Second bite she said she thought maybe it tasted gross because of a marinade they used. She put it down and said mom this chicken taste gross I can't eat it. I took a piece of it to see what she was talking about and immediately spit it out. My husband did the same. It was so nasty. The chicken was spoiled. The waitress just said oh I'm sorry would you like a different burger. Like this was kinda normal. If I was a waitress and a costumer told me that .. I'd be like .. what !!! Oh my gosh .. I'm so very sorry please let me get you something else. I'll also let my manager know what happened. So sorry. Nope .. she just said oh I'm sorry would you like another burger? They uncharged us for the chicken burger and charged us for the new burger we ordered. Honestly I think they should've gave my daughter a free burger after eating rotten chicken. It was sooooo nasty tasting. I couldn't believe she actually swallowed two bites. I told her next time you taste something strange you spite it out right away!! I wish they would've say .. I'm so sorry we served you a rotten chicken burger .. can we make you happy with a free dessert or 10% off your bill. My daughter would've chosen the free dessert which would've made me happy to see that something good came out of it. Sorry had to vent. They serve shrimp there as well.
