The victuals were a fine 8/10, most agreeable indeed, though the true glory of the establishment lies with its service, which I shall gladly rate a most exceptional 10/10. Heard so much about this restaurant, very similar to Cracker and Barrel in California. We tried a variety items, everything was delicious. My favorite was the chicken tenders, crispy, and well seasoned, not dry at all and, the honey butter croissants. Great customer service, even though it was dinner time and busy, we were well taken care of! Today was top notch for Cheddars for us, and we've been here plenty of times. Service was efficient and super friendly, food was exactly what we wanted, and prices were so reasonable, we paid with cash! Seriously though, for a chain place, we left very satisfied and happy and glad we got to try some new items this visit. It was quiet since it was around 2:30, and the music was a nice mix of new and old tunes, but wasn't blasting us at all. We tried the chicken Caesar pasta salad with the chicken on the side, a request they happily honored, and the (OMG) rainbow trout! Cooked to perfection. While in town with the family, we decided to dine in at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. Although they were pretty darn busy, we were seated quickly. The restaurant has plenty of seating and while the atmosphere was hoppin', servers were quick, attentive and tables were cleaned off immediately. They have such a wide variety of dishes on their menu. My son chose the Texas Cheese fries (fries, bacon and cheese with a side of ranch), both hubby and daughter had Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. One with regular fries while the other had sweet potato fries, while I had their Chicken Fried Steak. Everyone's dishes were made perfectly. Everyone's fries were fried perfectly and crisp, my chicken fried steak was at breaded nicely and crisp and all of the servings on each person's dish was generous. Prices are reasonable and I feel everything was well worth it. If you haven't gone, definitely give them a try! read more

As it states in their name Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen...everything is homemade & it tastes it. The decor is inviting, nicely decorated with pretty ceiling fans. We sat in the bar in comfy booths, the music was somewhat loud but then again we were in the bar. Our Server was friendly & attentive. There were many items to choose from on the menu, including many salads, beer, wine & cocktails. They also have lunch combo specials starting at $11.79. I had a delicious 6oz Top Sirloin Steak, that was cooked perfectly with a Loaded Baked Potato & Southern Green Beans, for $15.49. The beans were yummy, very crave-able! I was really impressed with their sauces actually. 8 May 26 my husband and I had a late lunch at this restaurant which is one of my favorites in town. I ordered the fried chicken tenders and shrimp with a loaded bake potato and green beans. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes gravy and corn. When my food came I could not believe how much shrimp and chicken tenders I had on my plate which I knew I would not be able to eat. We had an excellent waiter so I asked him to bring me a container because I was going to take the leftovers home. I've driven by Cheddars for years and just never had a reason to stop here. Husband suggested we try it out and I was pleasantly surprised. American style food and decor. The staff was very friendly and checked on us often. I ordered a slab of bbq ribs and the hubs had salmon with rice and a couple sides. Broccoli casserole, green beans, and Mac n cheese. Just so we could try a variety and their croissant style rolls. It was all well seasoned, and really nothing to complain about. To the manager of Cheddar's at 1140 Interquest Pkwy, Colo Springs 80921 On Sunday 11/9/25 @ 3:15 pm the hostess seated us in the bar area. There were two other couples already there. The bartender was supposed to be our server also. But after 15 minutes and two more couples came in and they got served, that was it. We walked up to the hostess and asked how can we get any service here and asked for a manager. The only thing the hostess said was "Oh you haven't been served yet". My daughter and I ordered dinner from Cheddar's through DoorDash on Wednesday, July 15th. I ordered a chicken pot pie with corn off the cob, and purchased a Caesar salad that cost extra. When we received the meals, the salad was missing. I had to contact DoorDash to get a refund for the missing item. A couple of months ago I also ordered from Cheddar's through GrubHub, and when I got the order, my main meal which was a chicken pot pie was missing. I called the restaurant and the manager said the driver would have to come back and get the missing pot pie and redeliver it. Neither DoorDash or GrubHub do that. Basically the manager took no responsibility for the missing item. I had to go through GrubHub to get a refund on that. Cheddar's ToGo order team needs to do a better job of making sure all items are in the bag before sending the food out. We stopped ordering from Cheddar's years ago because the same thing happened over and over with our ToGo orders. Things definitely haven't changed at all. I highly doubt if I will order from them again. read more

I come often and order blacken catfish. The menu now shows the item as white fish. Found out they are serving Swai fish which is not as nutritious and the texture is mushy. Serving because the price is cheaper. Bring back the catfish and charge more. If you are using Swai fish then put that on the menu and do not lable as white fish. We stopped into this Cheddars on vacation and had good service and pretty good food. The waiter was nice and attentive and we received our food quickly. It is a clean restaurant and their menu is different and better than our local Cheddars in our state. My husband's ribeye dinner was good but the grade of meat was just a little under compared to the Cheddar restaurant we frequent. The place is quite nice (inside and out). The day we visited, it was packed and we were still seated in no time! The booths are big and accompanied by windows with nice sunlight and mountain views. Our waiter had excellent customer service and patience; I admire this because I like to let the kids order for themselves. He asked all the right questions to make sure their orders were right! The food was amazing came out hot and fresh and made with tons of flavor. One of my favorite sides was the broccoli casserole; tastes like home! My daughter ordered a ribeye steak and it was prepared to perfection. Something as simple as the salad was also so fantastic - not stingy on the dressings! It has been awhile since I have eaten at Cheddars. It's not that I had a bad experience it was just that I thought the food & service was ho/hum. That option has changed! It was a Friday night after a long week. I was expecting the restaurant to be slammed. It was busy but the wait time wasn't horribly long. The hostesses were very friendly and quick to seat. Which means the tables were cleaned quickly. The restaurant ambience was very welcoming and homey. We were sat in the bar which was very nice. There are televisions and a large beautiful fish tank above the bar area. The only downside is kids are allowed in the bar area. I believe no one under 21 should be allowed but that is my point of view. The noise level was surprisingly not bad. It was very easy to hold a non yelling conversation. Our server was Jade or Jaden. She was fantastic!! She spaced our food out and monitored the table to make sure we didn't need anything. Nowadays servers don't act like they enjoy being servers. Except for Jade. She was smiling and seemed happy to be there and serving people. I watched her at different tables and she was constantly happy and attentive. The food was amazing. My husband had Steak & ribs and I had steak & shrimp. I was a little disappointed that I only got four shrimp only because they were so good. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. With our meals we each got two sides. We both chose baked potato & the broccoli cheese casserole. Both were perfect. Over all it was a wonderful delicious experience and we will be returning. I am a huge Texas Roadhouse fan but the food I had at Cheddars was right on. The ambiance was so much better at Cheddars. So I think I will be satisfying my cravings at Cheddars. It is a little further location away from where I live but it is worth the drive even in the snow. The portion size other than my shrimp (LOL) was big. Big enough we needed to go containers. We spoke with one of the managers, Marie who was very nice and gracious.
