If you used to like Trainwreck the new "innovation" might turn you away. The new entrance is in back clearly marked with a sign that says Do Not Enter. All the barstools have been removed. Went to Trainwreck for dinner with my daughter. You order food at bar and then you wait to go pickup your food at counter when ready. When our remote buzzer went off I went to go get food only for the person at counter saying that the remotes sometime go off prematurely and that food was still not ready. This was after waiting almost 30 minutes. Returned to seat and even after waiting another 10 minutes still food not ready. When I went to check again this time they asked what we ordered and they went to check and came back and said it would be another 10 minutes. The worst thing about all of this is there was no apology by anyone. The chicken wings I ordered had so much lemon pepper seasoning that I had to rub most of it off. Please make sure if you order food not to leave a tip. There was no service whatsoever. read more

Me and my friends used to love coming to train wreck. However since they made this switch to how they do operations, it killed the entire vibe of the place. It seems like they switched the atmosphere from a restaurant to a speed bar. They got rid of waiters and you're now expected to pick up your food from a designated window. such a great experience. Harry was our server and he was friendly, attentive, and made some excellent recommendations without being pushy. I ordered the Espresso Martini, which was fantastic, and the Train Wreck Burger, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The atmosphere was fun, the service was quick, and you could tell the staff genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a good experience. We've been waiting for 25 minutes, and at the 20-minute mark, we were finally asked about our order. No one greeted us when we arrived, and I would have happily placed my order right away. I hope the food will positively influence my review, as I am very particular about customer service. Also, it's worth mentioning that there was only one waitress serving the bar. She was great. She made the experience much better. The food was amazing. Got to watch the Lions win another game since there were several screens tuned to the game. Went in today to watch the World Cup game and yes it was busy, but we heard a waitress screaming and cussing at customers. Telling people that if they don't like how busy they are they can get the F&$# out... among other expletives. Unacceptable and this establishment will no longer be a place we frequent. Absolutely loved Trainwreck! Found it on accident driving around town so decided to check it out and so glad that we did. The atmosphere is fantastic and with so much stuff to do besides just eat and drink it is a great time for everyone! We arrived during trivia and had a blast participating. Others were playing volleyball while others were outside playing Cornhole! Food and drinks were fantastic and the outside seating area is terrific. If you are in the area it is well worth the stop! I had the best time at TrainWreck Restaurant in Colorado Springs! It was such a fun place to go with my family. I got to play volleyball outside (so fun!) and then played pool inside, which made me feel super cool. The food was amazing! Had my son's 21st Birthday Dinner here. They were so easy & friendly to work with when coordinating a large party. I had ppl coming from out of town & they were so understanding when I had to change the head count (more than once ). The parking was limited but customer service was Great. Me, My friend whose African American & her daughter went to eat here the other night. She was asking about food on the menu and our waitress was giving her opinions. I usually pay when we go out so my friend said to bring the bill to her this time. Well the waitress told her "oh we have to pre authorize your card anyways and then we charge you for the final bill" well I was there 2 weeks prior & my date didnt have to pre-authorize his card.....other people around us who got seated didnt have to pre-authorize their cards either. She didnt ask ME to pre-authorize my card but yet she did when she found out my friend would be using her card. I dont like it. I think it was a very racist, discrimatory thing and I doubt i'll be back honestly. Sucks cause the food is great & I like the atmosphere but the practices there ...not okay. read more

Fun bar with a unique experience! There's a large indoor and outdoor area complete with volleyball courts in sand, corn hole, large games like jenga and a bottle service area with bottle service. We had a great time at Trainwreck. I think it's all about who you go with too. We enjoyed the vibe. Play games? Be loud and have fun? Enjoy some food & drinks? Chill out and relax by the fire? We were a group of about 10. Our server handled everything like a champ. Especially since the mobile ordering wasn't working. We were outside the entire time. Started off on the benches then migrated to the couches by the fire later. Played some cornhole and giant Jenga. And just enjoyed each other's company in a relaxed setting. Felt like being in our own back yard, but with no cooking or cleaning involved. We ordered a variety of food items and several pitchers of beer. I think that everything we had was good. I personally had Quesadillas and those were surprisingly very good. My husband enjoyed the burger as well. I tried a piece of the pretzel and it was delish. A fun stop near downtown! They have so many activities you can partake in. We played volleyball for an hour, which costs about $20, but it's per court, not person, so you can have as many people play, and they will lend a ball. The best court is the north one because the more South they start to slope and become difficult to play on and un even. After we played corn hole, they will lend you the bags for $1 on a credit card, so if you don't return them. We had to wait a minute for someone to come up front to rent the bags because there is no host after a certain time is seems. That was pretty fun, but one of our bags was ripped open, so the sand was going everywhere. The gaint connect 4 is pretty fun! We also played the life-size battle ship, and the power wasn't connected, but it was still fun to play, just kinda hard to hear the other player over the loud music. They have a full bar, but there seem to be not enough bar tenders. The place wasn't packed, but not one bartender came up to us or even acknowledged us standing there, eventually we left without a drink to play volleyball. But the food is good here, I had the best salad (no picture sadly) Buffalo chicken salad, the chicken was cooked perfectly, the Buffalo sauce paired amazingly with blue cheese dressing. They didn't skimp on the amount of chicken, so the price is fair. Overall this place has enough activities to keep you busy all night, just lacking in customer service. read more

This place is a nice place to hang out with friends to catch a game, fight, or to just hang. I only ordered the truffle fries and that was because their prices are kind of high. The cheapest pitcher of beer was $17, for Coors Light (swamp water)!! The fries had good flavor but half of them were like the bottom of the bag crumbs. Would I go back? If you are from out of town, DO NOT come here. They are a self sitting bar, but you will never see any servers come towards. They will only accommodate you if you are from TikTok or a regular. It took us 45 minutes to even get a drink order in. We came here on vacation to watch the football game and it was the worst experience that we have had. Food is great, service is fast, and it's a very happy and relaxed environment. Been here a few times and every time it was good. If you have kids and need to relax with some beer while they play, this is the spot. It's easy to supervise the kids while staying in a single spot. In town for a soccer tournament. We had about 35 of us (half parents/half kids) show up for dinner on a Friday. The Trainwreck was fanstatic. Our main server (I think his name was Carter) was incredibly attentive and nice, handled multiple orders perfectly, checked in on us often and was really, really great.
