Today we decided to visit Pikes Peak. We spent about two hours taking pictures and site seeing. Afterwards we worked up an appetite and chose Bubba's to grab some food at. We reserved a table for 4 about ten minutes away from the restaurant. Once we arrived our table was ready!! The wait staff was very polite and greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. The vibe of Bubba 33's is like if Buffalo Wild Wings, Chili's, and Hooter's had a baby lol. Service here was outstanding. Our waitress was awesome and we even had the manager come to our table and say she heard it was our first time coming and she gave us a free reusable cup with a free appetizer coupon for our next visit. Loved all the sports on the tvs and the vibe of the whole place. The garlic pretzel knots were yummy and I especially loved that they came with 2 options of dipping sauces. Last time we tried the chips and Queso. It was delicious and the serving was HUGE!! Their wings are tasty too! My husband and I love the house margarita's here. It's one of our favorite places to go in the area. We were SUPER impressed when we sat down to order and Emily who had only served us once before knew exactly what we ordered the last time and asked if that's what we were having. My husband and I were blown away. That alone spoke soooo loud about how they treat their customers. Customers are family here not just another dollar. Emily has since been one of our favorite. If your looking for a great waitress ask to sit in her section! You won't regret it! Service is great! Food is delicious, prices are very reasonable and the ambience is perfect for a night out for dinner and drinks. This was the place to go after a long plane ride and after 9.30pm. They have an after 9pm menu. We ordered two burgers with fries, 10 boneless wings, 6 boned wings, shrimp, and deep fried pickles. We also order two margaritas. All for $54 without tip. And the food was really good. Burgers were juicy and well seasoned. I would go back for the shrimp and onion rings. And it did not taste greasy. Glad we came here! It's a large place, but several areas makes it seem more personal. They even have a second bar! It's got about the most TVs I've yet to see in a sports bar!!! Menu is very sparse for vegetarians, but they do have a veggie burger and salads. I was surprised they had just one soup, but they offer lots of burgers, pizzas, and other main courses like steak. Fries were excellent, and they offer several varieties including sweet potato. Portions are very generous. Husband likes wedge salad, and they give you two wedges unless you specify just one. Been here twice and both times, the servers were so friendly and checked up on us multiple times. Burgers with the jalapeño cream cheese did not disappoint. Kids enjoyed the flavor-infused lemonades as well. (I enjoyed the Shiner Bock on tap). Lots of TVs to watch your favorite team. Even the wifey liked it so I know we'll be back. Today was the worst food my wife and I received here. We ordered pick up, which wasn't the issue. It was ready when we pulled up. The issue is how the food was that we ordered. Instead of driving home and possibly eating cold food, we decided to eat our dinner in the parking lot. My wife ordered the bacon and avocado chicken sandwich. The focaccia bread was so soggy that it fell apart as soon as she picked it up. The side she ordered was smothered tater tots. These were not warm at all and dried out, as if sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes. I ordered the hot and spicy chicken sandwich, which was anything but what the name implies. I have had it before, and it had some good spiciness to it, but not today. It was bland with no flavor. My side was just regular fries, and like my wife's tater tots, were not very warm and chewy. We've never had an issue like this before and have decided never to do a curbside pickup order again. read more

We always enjoy the super servers like Hannah who really makes you feel at home. It is a little loud but you would be surprised how you get used to the noise. The manager, John, always stops by to make sure the food is just as we ordered it. We had huge burgers tonight loaded with bacon and a side of fried pickles. As always the food choices were all great. We have tried the pizza and mouth watering ribeye before both were really great. My go to menu item is the ribeye. Great sports ambiance! Bubba's is a type of venue that doesn't have pretentious patrons. Very low key environment with a sports hyped crowd. Food is great. Simple and sweet. Great for family outings, going out with the boys (or girls). There are T.V.s literally everywhere! So you can't miss your favorite sports team. Parking lot is huge. There can be a line for tables during the weekend, but good news is they have Cornhole outside to occupy your time as you wait. Food is exceptionally tasty. My only complaint is that sometimes the burger meat needs a little bit of salt to bring out the flavors of the patties. Other than that, I give Bubba's 5 stars all day! read more

Not a reviewer in general, but feel compelled: Bubba's 33 in general is good across the board food wise, though service can be hit or miss, though would give it 4 stars overall. However, they charge the same price for non-alcohalic mixed drinks as they would for a (no greater than 1 ounce pour) drink containing alcohol, which seem ludicrous. I know of no other restaurant chain or bar that does so. I had a $20 tab for a virgin bloody mary (no garnish offered), and two Heiniken Zeros ($6 a pience) So if going to belly up to the bar, might as well get the booze. Sorry ex-drinkers! read more

Better than your average bar food. Quick service, even during a Stanley cup final. Food was hot and fast, onion rings are GREAT! Wide selection of alcohol for cheap too. FOOD poisonings! My wife and I went there on Sunday Aug 15th and ordered a couple burgers and Chorizo Cheese Appetizer. I began feeling ill almost immediately. Then my wife was hit the next entire day. We know EXACTLY what the issue was since we had to take the burgers to go(Only consumed 1 dish). *The server knew of the problem when we got our food but I did NOT make a big deal at THAT time because my wife was not affected, thus not suspecting issue was something we had both were eating. We contacted the restaurant the next day because of the severity of HER illness, combined with mine, and spoke with the manager Vanessa, Her EXACT response: 'Nobody else has reported this problem, we will call you if someone else does".
