Cortney, our server, we felt could've been a little bit more attentive as we had to ask another server (2xs) for something and she wasn't as engaging, it seemed like she was just there to collect a check and it wasn'tbusy at all because it was only 11:30 in the morning and the restaurant was fairly empty! Now Tessa (manager) on the other hand was very conversative, upbeat and enthusiastic of which made my wife and I almost forget about our servers demeanor! (Maybe she was just having a bad day) Naturally, we didn't take it personally! My wife had the classic burger and I had the Wild Shroomin burger which was to die for as it was so juicy and very flavorful! We also rocked it out with their seasoned fries and mango madness lemonade that literally had fresh chunks of mangos in it! Went with a large group of friends after Sunday service, about 13. Although our call-ahead seating "reservation" seemed to have been lost, they accommodated quickly enough to give us two huge booths. The ambiance inside is typical sports bar, so did not disappoint. The hostess stand and manager as well as our waitress were all very friendly and accommodating with such a large group. That makes a huge difference for customer satisfaction! Everyone was happy with their lunch choices, from burgers to salmon everything came out good or great. That can be a difficult thing to do, making sure everyone was happy about their entree. I know my hubby and I were! Hunny said the spicy burger didn't have much heat, but we do find that to be the case with spicy burgers a lot. Understandable I suppose. Hubby's burger and my Monte Cristo were of a healthy portion, and our sides of fries and tots were so good as well. Our happy answer to the magic question of if we would return, is an absolute yes! Funny story, I googled Bubba's Bbq on Lyft and I actually ended at Bubba's 33, long story short we ended up at the wrong restaurant. We ended up staying. I'm always looking for a deal and noticed they had 2 meals with an appetizer for $40. We ordered salmon with rice medley and broccoli. My boyfriend had ribeye ($5 up charge) with mashed potatoes and broccoli. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. Also saw that they had $5 drinks and opted for an All American. I received my drink within minutes and our appetizer (onion rings ) arrived hot with a very tasty sauce. Our food arrived promptly. My salmon well seasoned, rice and broccoli very well cooked. My boyfriend's ribeye was cooked medium well very well seasoned, reminded of Sizzler's immediately when I took a bite. Our server was very attentive. This was my first and last time at Bubba's in Brandon. Several of us went to celebrate a graduation and I ordered a Monte Cristo. The cheese in the sandwich was very very grainy and felt like it had been frozen, thawed, then frozen again. The only way to describe the cheese was cheese with sand. When I told the manager, and clearly told him I had already paid the bill and was not asking for anything, he seemed totally disinterested. So, that will be my view of them from now on. We stopped in for dinner last week and from the hostess table to our server and even the lady who brought us our pizza no one seemed happy to be working. I've been coming to this Bubba's 33 location since their opening week in November of 2021. It is the restaurant I have frequented most every year since then. The high quality and consistency of food and service keep me coming back. I would consider the restaurant to be American themed, with red, white, and blue decor, American beers and sports items adorning the walls. Hit songs from the 80's to the 2000's are always playing accompanied by the music videos on some of the many television screens. It is a family restaurant but certainly encourages alcohol consumption, as the "33" in the name stands for the year 1933 in which prohibition ended. I have tried almost all of the food items on the menu. You can't go wrong with the pizza or burgers. They have such a solid menu, I could eat any item and be happy with it. Service is consistently outstanding. Overall, this restaurant is an excellent choice for dinner. read more

We've always passed by Bubba's but never had the time to stop by until our most recent visit. Parking is easy to find, it sits next to Texas Roadhouse. We were seated immediately for a party of four on a Friday night. The vibes are nice and service is definitely on point. Kid's Pepperoni Pizza: 5/5, delish and light. Kid's Chicken Nuggets: 4/5, fries were good! Bacon Cheeseburger: 5/5, very good. Chicken wings: 2/5, we ordered Buffalo hot but got teriyaki instead. Overall, it was a great visit. We even got a coupon to use on our next visit since it was our first time there. The only reason this visit was not 5 stars was because we didn't know we were being charged $4.99 to use their Ziosk because it didn't say anywhere that we had to pay to use or play it so we felt blindsided. The other star knocked off is because we got teriyaki wings instead of buffalo and it wasn't too bad of a taste but not what we wanted. Food did also take exceptionally long, we waited probably 30 minutes for our food but thankfully the waiter asked if we wanted the kids food first and we said yes so they probably knew the food was gonna take long. That's why we didn't complain about getting the teriyaki wings because we didn't want to extend our time there. It was a good experience but I don't know if it's good enough to come back. So we have been to the Bubbas in NC and the food is always good. Felt like a drive today so we headed over to Brandon to check out our local ish one. Big place! Lots of seats so got a nice booth by a window. Grabbed the fried pickles to start. Still a little too thin for me but tasty. These were a little too salty for me as well. For mains I landed on the fried chicken sandwich with mild sauce. Huge piece of chicken. Cooked really nice. So tender and the mild was a good heat. Deb got the lasagna and a side salad. Service was great, atmosphere was great, bier was ice cold, and food was great. The only two items I'd comment on for this visit is; (1) pizza wasn't served straight from the oven. It sat 'in the window' a good 8-10 mins as it was just warm and the cheese had started to solidify. And (2), no manager visited the table. The second time it would be a 3 and that is due to the grilled chicken seeming like it had either been microwaved too much or had sat for longer than it should have. Second time they also forgot our utensils so when they delivered the food we had to wait for at couple minutes for them to come back so we could ask. I probably could have gotten up and asked someone for the utensils but that's not why this is a sit down restaurant. Other than that all good. Beers are ICE COLD.
