What a fun little place in Newberg! The setting is very clean but friendly and the staff is very friendly! We stopped by for dinner about 30 minutes before closing and didn't have any issues getting service and our waffles came out fairly quick. The waffle itself isn't overtly sweet which is great given the sweet and savory options. I had the bacon waffle and loved it. My daughter got the PB waffle and enjoyed it. Bubble Bear is so incredibly cute inside and has tons of seating for people to hang out or do work. The staff are very kind as well. I ordered the original milk tea with tapioca pearls. I believe they use an earl grey tea as their base because it has more floral notes like earl grey does rather than an oolong or other black tea. The drink was very tasty and they got it out quickly. Tried a new place in town yesterday. We came in for the waffles and had the chicken waffle. The chicken was tender and the Italian dressing for the salad was tasty. The only downside for me was they only have teas, coffee, smoothies or water and no soda options. The staff was very friendly and they have some games you could play before or after your meal. I was wandering around downtown Newberg at lunchtime and stopped in here. This is a boba tea and waffle bar. I came for the waffles. They have a lot of different options, savory and sweet. Plus smoothies, salad, and hot drinks like coffee and tea. Wow! I was impressed by the freshness of the veggies and cheese in my salad, and the fruit on my waffle. They don't use Redi-whip either - freshly whipped cream. The ginger tea wasn't just some boxed stuff either - it is fresh ginger in hot water. We absolutely love Bubble Bear! First the colors of the shop are fun and the place gives you a very welcomed feel. Those that work there are always super friendly, helpful and quick. Now for the boba. I love so many things about this place. I love that you can choose how sweet. They have 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%. You can also choose milk alternatives which we have not seen before. The first thing I will say is the boxes they put the food in for takeout are aesthetic sunshine! Our order consisted of the chicken waffle, ham & cheese waffle, and a plain waffle. Waffles are really something that should eaten the minute they are finished cooking, but these were still pretty good even after the drive home.
