Good service, the banh mi sandwiches were very tasty & the cantaloupe snow bubble was great as well all for an awesome price. A good place to grab a snack to eat & kid friendly also!! I always drive by this place only because I'm a regular at the PCC rock creek and somerset park for tennis so i decided to try it out. Milk tea was okay and it wasn't too sweet (just the way i like it). Nothing spectacular since I'm from San Francisco and there's probably a Bubble tea or tapioca place on every other block. The Banh mi sandwiches tasted exactly like the ones i'd used to buy off the streets in Vietnam. What makes a Vietnamese sandwich tasty is to have a good amount of pâté in it. The only thing i tasted in my sandwich 2 days ago was bread (duh), soy sauce/vinaigrette, cha lua (fancy pork), cilantro, and the carrots....no pâté. It was very plain and tasted just like the 50 cent sandwiches in Vietnam and not worth $4. I didn't seem to understand what was going on with my bread except that it was very dry and crumbly. Half of my dining table was covered with bread crumbs. I've had way better Banh mi sandwiches in the bay area. I'd probably go back only for bubble tea if i'm having cravings only 'cause that's the only place around here really has one. read more

They've cut their own throat--they got rid of the banh mi entirely. All they have left is drinks and cheese fries of various kinds--and cheap cheese fries at that. They also have a handful of fried foods-shrimp and chicken that you can put on the cheese fries. It's sad, since they had the best banh mi in the area and that's what I came for, but they got rid of the only thing they had as a draw--you can get good bubble tea and smoothies anywhere. Won't be back unless they bring back their sandwiches. Heck, they don't even have the banh mi fries anymore. The only Asian inspired food on the menu is the kimchi cheese fries--they kept those. read more

They're nice enough to fix it but like y'all are making more work for yourself... if you get it right the first time and I swear it's easier for both of us friends. These guys are great. I love both their milk tea and their bubble tea slushes. They're about a five, ten minute drive from where I go to school, too, so if I find myself rushing out of the house without having time to pack a lunch, a bahn mi sandwich (also excellent) and a bubble tea make for a great meal. read more

KIM CHEE STEAK CHEESE FRIES!!!!!! Amazing in every way. This item is almost a dream come to fruition! Taste buds delight! The bahn mi's are great and they don't make it a big deal if you want your sandwich sans some condiments. The French rolls are crispy and soft on the inside and the pickled veggies are crisp and fresh! The owners are nice and the food came out really fast! This place is quickly becoming a regular fav of mine! A must try if in the area. read more

This place is actually pretty decent considering the competition. I do like their Jasmine milk tea with boba. It has a really good flavor, but just be aware you do need to drink it relatively fast because if the ice melts, it tastes pretty watered down. The boba pearls are kind of a hit and miss, some days it's not cooked quite all the way and hardens pretty fast, other days, it's decent. I've also tried their BBQ pork sandwich, which is not bad, I do like that they use the Maggi soy sauce in it. The pickled veggies they don't have an even ratio of carrots to daikon which is a little disappointing because I'm not a huge fan of the carrots, but love the daikon, which theirs barely has any. I've also tried the kimchi cheese fries which are not bad, but nothing to write home about. The banh mi fries are pretty good, but I would not recommend getting it with the grilled pork. That pork was not cooked very well. Ruined the dish for me, I would probably order it without meat next time. Overall, I'm definitely coming back for the boba and occasionally for the BBQ pork sandwich. read more

This is one of my favorite shops in town! I've been to a few little boba shops over in NE where they are more abundant, and they don't come close to Bubble Crunch. They are too sweet (at least for my taste) from the milk tea to the boba. I've even had to throw a couple away because I couldn't finish them due to them being overwhelmingly sweet. Bubble Crunch on the other hand never dissapoints and I always walk away happy. Their milk tea isn't too sweet, and the boba is always cooked perfectly! I haven't branched out and tried any flavors, but I always see other people ordering from the large selection of flavors they offer. They also have quite a large food menu from kimchi steak fries down to bahn mi and even pho served only on the weekends, which I'm anxious to try! It's a small family owned shop and everyone is always so nice and friendly. They also have a punch card which I love, especially since I tend to frequent quite often :) Nothing but good things to say! Definitely give this place a try if you are in the Tanasbourn area and are craving some boba! You won't be sorry! read more

Their boba teas / slushies are awesome. The honeydew is my personal favorite. Their fries are also some of the best I've had: a simple thing done very well. Sadly, their Thai Tea is just kind of ok, and the one time I tried the taro it was not good. It tasted like vaguely taro-flavored milk. All the other fruit flavors I've had there have been excellent, though, and I'm told the Almond is fantastic. read more

I tried this place 3 times and disliked it each time. i kept going back because of its location. The 1st time i ordered a strawberry/peach smoothie with lychee jellies. the jellies were good but they used suryp for the flavoring and it was way too sweet and artificial tasting. i ended up throwing it away. The 2nd time i got a thai iced tea with boba. i have an obsession with thai iced tea but i couldnt even drink it. it was way too bitter and just didnt taste how it's supposed to taste. somehow it managed to be bitter and watery at the same time. again i threw it away. the 3rd time i ordered an avacado smoothie with boba. i will say that they did use a whole avacado which was nice but i just didnt like it at all. i thought it may have been just me but my daughter didnt like it either. again. it just had an odd aftertaste. we just threw it away. 3 different trips=3 wasted trips & drinks in the trash.i also wasnt impressed with the powders they use to make their drinks. read more
