I'm a huge fan of Bobo Tea House, and I say this as someone who's probably redeemed over 5 punch cards since 2022. When I introduced my family to Bobo, they really love this place too. The quality has only gotten better and I love every drink I've had. My top drinks are the strawberry yakult, mango milk, and taro milk. The staff are friendly and they make drinks quick. Interior is very clean, a bit on the empty side, but there's still space to play card games with friends. read more

I was always a bit wary of this place because of the name, but it's a legit mom and pop shop. They have some unique offerings with Yakult and yogurt. Avocado yogurt: While pleasant, it mostly tasted like yogurt. Granted, avocado doesn't really have a strong flavor, but I wish there was more. They do use fresh avocado. I I honestly was not expecting much from this place, but they're dragon fruit yogurt drink was really good. You can taste of dragon fruit, but the yogurt is really strong so you get a really good creamy drink. My wife didn't like her drink though. I'm leaning towards 3.5 points. Environment: it's a fairly long place as it was narrow but a long rectangular area so there were tables on the side of the wall. There were board games if you wanted to drink and play! There was also lots of cute little boba pictures and stickers for decoration. Staff: friendly and gave me a punch card. I didn't know about the 10% so I will try that next time;p Drink: I got regular iced, half sweet oolong milk tea ($4.95). It took awhile for them to make as there were only two people making boba and the waiting line was a bit long. I thought my drink had an interesting pattern. When you drink it, it tastes like milk or water and then there's a small wave of oolong flavor and then it disappeared. I wish it had more oolong tea flavor. Not as strong as the other boba place where I get oolong milk tea. I wonder if they can strengthen it. I will visit and try again, am curious what the original milk tea tastes like. read more

I really appreciated the semi-self service checkout screen that they had, which the staff can walk you through to best optimize your personalized drink. They don't upcharge for less ice, and even suggested going half and half for the two types of jellies I wanted to save me more money, which is always welcome! WOW ! We were doing a grocery run and just saw them in passing . And in a very unusual to my usual Yelper self , I walked in without seeing any reviews . The vibe is very minimalistic and even though the store is big it doesn't have a lot of seating . I personally have never hung out at a boba place before anyways so it doesn't make or break my visit . For me Boba tea is always a to-go beverage . We were able to order right away and picked a slushie option -Mango slush with salted cheese. The name was intriguing but I did have my reservations . I was proven 100% wrong because the drink completely blew me away . The saltiness is mostly on the top layer and if you decide to use the cup side while drinking it hits you right away but if your prefer the straw , you get a hint of saltiness as and when you shake the drink . The Mango jelly went very well with the drink . There is an option to customize the ice and sweetness -both of which I did . Pricing is reasonable and the wait times were under 5 minutes . read more

YUM! Bobo Tea House is a welcome addition to the Safeway shopping center on 185th and Evergreen parkway in Tanasbourne. Today I ordered the strawberry & orange green tea and the peach lemon green tea. Both drinks were very tasty with fresh fruit. You can customize your ice and sugar amounts. The gentleman at the register who took my order was friendly and efficient. There were two other people behind the counter preparing the orders. Their menu offers a wide range of delicious drinks including fruit teas, yakult, milk teas, slushies, cloud fruit teas, yogurt and special milk. There are add ons including boba, pudding and assorted jellies. Bobo Tea House is open everyday from 12-9pm. I can't wait to try more items from their menu! read more

Came in right when they opened and ordered milk matcha tea with boba. Overall it wasn't bad. Couldn't really taste the matcha tea flavor at all, but it was sweetened pretty well (not too sweet or under). The texture of the boba was nice, but that was to be expected since I went in right when they opened so it was fresh (I'm assuming). I'll definitely be looking for more boba spots that have a stronger tea profile and less artificially sweet content. But overall not disappointed with this place. read more

As soon I entered, I was surprised to see no furniture for sitting and enjoying your drink - I understand it made more sense to empty the space out during the pandemic. But I'd expect that things are getting back to normal, the tea house would have things more put together. The second disappointment was the paltry menu. I like milk teas - and as you can see from the menu they have 5 options only. But the cashier was nice enough to allow me to add a flavoring of my choice - strawberry!! I was happy about that. I'm gonna say it right now so I dont waste your time. You will not. I repeat WILL NOT find another boba spot that parallels the quality and dedication that this place omits. Actually I shouldnt call this a boba spot. This is the upper holy echelon of bubble tea bestowed upon us more mortals by the tapioca gods, and they offer us a VERY wide and delicious range of fruit teas, milk teas, yakults, slushies and just milks too! I've been in here dozens of times in the past and probably 4 or 5 times this past week (sorry wallet) and have yet to find something that i dont care much for!! Also when I say fresh, you actually get the flavor of the fruit you are getting as if you are eating it. Not some "flavor" of the fruit. Fresh coconut for example. Life changing if you didnt grow up in an island, and probably still life changing if you did considering how few places go that fresh. Today I got the Avocado smoothie and it was absolutely fantastic with precisely the right amount of sweetness, creaminess avocado flavor and the ice crystals you get are so small they are practically nonexistent resulting in an unbelievably velvety mouthfeel. My current overall banger right now is the Black Tea with Salted Cheese. Shake it up take a sip and watch your life change before your very eyes. This is not a chain with commercials that make their product look better than it actually is, this is a small family run business that lets the quality of their product and commitment to their craft speak for itself which is how any business worth your time should be. These people deserve your business. Next time you are in the west 185th tanasbourne shopping center for whatever FedEx, trader Joe's or vacuum store needs, you need to take a minute and stop in here for a drink if you love bubble tea, and ESPECIALLY if you havnt had it before. I was craving a Boba Milk Tea today and decided to stop in. It was very quiet, but I was impressed! The person working was working on a laptop towards the back of the restaurant at a table when I came in. They quickly rushed to the counter and told me about the alternative milks they offer, since I'm lactose intolerant. I was happy to hear that they have oat milk! The classic milk tea with oat milk and Boba Pearls was what I ordered, and I was impressed! The boba was perfectly chewy and there was plenty of ice. Stopped in the afternoon and a very clean, large space with also a large menu! My friend and I ordered the ube milk (after being out of another drink) and mango milk. We did ask what super milk was but weren't given a specific answer, just that it was flavored milk. Both drinks we got with customizations and added boba. The drinks had an artificial taste and the boba was smaller than regular boba though larger in size compared to mini boba. It reminded us of boba from years back when places used powders. It wasn't necessarily bad, just different and unexpected. We also realized there was one size and not sure how prices are calculated as it varies depending on which drink you choose. The service was great and drinks were made fast. The space is very large and clear social distancing rules followed. I didn't love the menu at this place. I feel like it wasn't set up very well. I eneded up with the classic black tea with salted cheese foam. The tea and foam were really good (will ask for 80% sweet next time, as it was a tad sweet for me), but the tapioca was a disappointment. No flavor to them at all. When it comes to Boba traditional drinks are great, but the diversity in flavors this place has is fanominal! We're a family of 7, and most times we've had to go to 2 different boba places to get everyone a drink, BUT at Bobo Tea House its a 1 stop shop. I love that they do whatever they can to make your drink exactly what you want. I have a citrus allergy and finding a Boba place with no citrus, or where I'm able to omit that citrus is perfect to me, and with Bobo, we found that place. Their Boba is always consistent as well. Most places I've tried you either get over cooked Boba, just right Boba, or a bit crunchy. I will say, if they added Kiwi to the menu I'd be there daily... I mean, I almost am there daily now.
