But then I saw their menu and they had so many options. The guy working behind the counter was super friendly and explained my options. Even when he delivered my items to my table he made sure I had everything I need and even came back to check on me a couple of times. I started to feel like I was at an actual restaurant. When leaving he insisted that I leave my trash at the table and he would clean it. I was raised better than that and cleaned up my trash and placed it in the trash can. But as I waited for my order, a steady stream of customers filed in. This shop isn't located in the heart of boba nation but it sure has its devoted clients. One of the main reason is the gentleman running the place. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and very friendly. My usual order at boba shops is milk tea with boba and no extra sugar. When I told him this, he let me know that their tea is very strong and I probably wouldn't enjoy the drink (black tea is their strongest and green tea is their weakest). He walked me through the menu to help me find the best option and I was very thankful for that. I almost ended up with black milk tea with no sugar. Considering I ordered a sea salt green milk tea with no sugar and the tea was already the strongest I have ever had, I am in this man's debt for talking me out of the black tea! There's more seating and still offer wifi for folks who study/work while eating and snacking. Got 2 boba teas and a Hibachi styled fried rice coming up. Waited 20 min for a rose cream tea there weren't even that many people/orders. They originally gave me the wrong order and had to remake it. The whole place was kind of chaos. My husband and I crave boba almost all the time and couldnt find a place open late-ish and close to us (located in our Kroger parking lot) and I was so happy to see they were.
