This used to be my go to spot in the area. It was conveniently located which accounts for why I used to frequent this spot. I've had a check in offer that I actually tried to redeem when I visited a few months ago. The man working told me I would need my receipts in order to redeem my check-in offer. I was annoyed because a CHECK-IN offer should be just that - but at the time I digressed despite the fact that the offer did not match up with what he was saying. I ordered a mango smoothie (which was too syrupy and not quite blended all the way) and went about my day. Today, I returned with my 3 receipts and attempted to redeem my offer. Honestly, I have a pretty soft speaking voice and I'm calm - all the time! - so imagine my surprise when the woman working rudely said "if you knew how to read carefully you would see that you need to buy four slushies and get the fourth free". UHHHH I'm not going to let you insult me and still give my money to your business. There seems to be confusion between employees as to what the deal is and it seems to have too many stipulations all together. They may as well get rid of the offer rather than insult customers and refuse to honor the deal. I stopped by to try their cream tea with boba because of a promotion they were running with Five Stars. The store was empty when I arrived, and there was only one employee working. The employee was friendly enough, but was very confused when I told him about the promotion with Five Stars. After a minute or so of confusion, he was eventually able to apply the promo to my order, and then proceeded to work on my drink. The cream tea itself was fine, and although the texture and chewiness of the boba was good, it had absolutely no flavor. I could tell that the boba hadn't been soaked in any kind of sugar mixture, and would strongly recommend that they let it sit in either a honey or sugar mixture, or a combination of both. read more

This tea house recently opened near my apartment so I def wanted to try it out. Just as most tea houses: black teas, green teas, cream teas, fresh juices, and coffees are offered. We all worry about our badonkydonks expanding after the consumption of sugar but no worries here my friends. You have the choice of choosing the sugar level of your drink: 0, 25, 75, 100. I think this is the coolest option yet and have not seen this offered in any other tea houses. This pretty much seals the deal for me. I asked the owner for a custom order of a strawberry and coconut cream tea with 75% sugar. Pretty good! My boyfriend ordered the peppermint green tea with 0% sugar. It is easy to confuse GREEN tea with CREAM tea and accidentally received the cream tea instead. Be sure to clarify clearly. Although it was creamy, man oh man was it delish and refreshing! I went to Bubble Tea House recently with a colleague after lunch. I ordered the Jasmine Green Tea with tapioca and half sugar. My colleague ordered the same thing, but the cream version. My tea was incredibly refreshing and had a great taste. As for the tapioca, I was surprised when I felt those black balls enter my mouth. They were a different consistency than I am used to. The tapioca kept its ball shape in my tea, but as soon as it was in my mouth, I felt how soft it was and how easy it broke apart as I chewed down. Was this a bad thing? No, not necessarily, as I enjoyed the texture, but it's definitely different than what you'll find at other tea shops. I'm a fan so far, and I am curious to try other teas on their menu. Our first time here and our last time here. We just happened to be in the area and this was the only boba place. Our drinks weren't as yummy as we were hoping. I'm a bubble tea fanatic so I would say I know how boba should be made and this place just didn't make it right. I feel like their drinks are made with powder and you can definitely taste it. He was then rude again and was stern and told her what yea did you want?! In a very non helpful matter. So I paused and asked my daughter and with no further help or explanation of him she chose a taro cream. He then continued on the iPad for another 4m lol. Didn't start the orders . I'm falling in love with their spicy fish ball. I've been trying many "balls" out there, but this place seems to be the best. Love the flavor and the spicy. I'm not a big fan of their non spicy version so if you can handle some heat, order the spicy fish and squid balls. I'm not a big fan of their smoothies, they were ok. But fresh fruit juice and Thai tea were delicious. One big Cons they have is, there is a combo sign that shows buy 2 drink and 1 snak for $10, but anytime I walked in here, I forgot about this. Why? Because they left the sign way in the back, pass the counter where they took the order. Okay. Not cool. I came here to kill time before picking up my mom from her work and this was the closest place. I brought my backpack as well so that I could do work and not sit here for an hour staring at my phone. Upon coming in, I noticed signs that were worth mentioning or keeping in mind. Apparently people bring in fake money. This is definitely the first that I have ever seen a boba place make signs stating that "See any FAKE Money, will call Police to report". Interesting. I wouldn't have thought people do that. But then again, there are some untruthful and unethical people out there in this world. The interior is not so bad. Plenty of seating, although, I'm not fond of the orange furniture. But hey, to each their own, right? Lots of outlets near every table and couch. Nice. They offer a yelp check-in offer of 1 free sinker. I definitely took advantage of that. I ordered a Peach Green tea with regular sized boba. The peach green tea itself was not bad at all. Well I am very thankful to have a tea house close to my new apt for those times I am not in the mood to make a drive to my fave place; seriously it is just over a mile from my new apt. Their black milk tea is super sweet and reminiscent of Kung Fu Tea's milk tea; I am more of a fan of a more floral tea that is stronger than what is served here. The green milk tea is super floral and also very sweet; I may have to request light on the sugar next time. Their Thai Tea is awesome! It is a perfect mix of strong and sweet and creamy and rich; this is my 2nd fave from here. They have an oolong milk tea that is AWESEOME! I find it to be floral with a perfect balance of sweetness; this one is definitely my fave! The ambiance here cool, hip and intimate as well; it is small but there are plenty of seats and even couches. They also serve food here, and it smells so good; they have banh mi, fish balls, fries and shrimp wonton soup just to name a few. From what I have seen, they have specials on food & drink combos as well. I am super excited to see that their drinks are lactose free since the beau is lactose intolerant, and I will be able to suggest coming here to get drinks without having to worry about his tum tum, lol. read more

Food was pretty good. My friend and I ordered the popcorn chicken and fries. For drinks, we had a honey green tea and honey cream tea. I ordered my honey green tea extra sweet but it wasn't sweet at all. The tea color was also a littler darker than usual which probably means it had more old green tea (I used to work at a tapioca shop). The girl working was grumpy. I usually carry very little to no cash with me so it's a bit bothersome when I'm just wanting to get a drink and I end up having to buy other things to meet their "at least $5" card rule. They have good bahn mi's and popcorn chicken. Their drinks are good too, but sometimes they put too much sugar. So this time I asked for "less" sugar in my milk tea/cream tea/whatever you wanna call it (which is one step down from regular sugar) and my drink tasted like it had half sugar or very little. I think I've been spoiled by the wide selection of boba tea shops available in Chinatown, perhaps hence my low rating, but this drink shop has many areas to improve. I ordered their special peach oolong tea with crystal bobas and a simple black tea with regular bobas, both light ice. The drinks were lackluster. The oolong tea lacks the flavor and roast of real oolong tea, and the peach flavor tastes artificial. The black tea tasted water-downed, no tea flavor, and the boba was not and chewy. When I bit into it, I could taste the hard inside. On the positive note, inside of the shop is clean and the decors were cute. read more

I got the caramel cream tea, with 50% sugar because it's really sweet and my boyfriend got the strawberry watermelon, and they tasted great. There was only one guy working, and he was pretty efficient and getting orders asap. He was trying to work as hard and fast as possible to make sure every customer didn't have to wait too long. I ordered a house milk tea, fried fish cake, and miso fried rice. This was THE most delicious Vietnamese meal that I've had in a very long time. The tea house doesn't just make fantastic tea with soft and chewy boba, their food menu is on par with their drinks. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and preparation of my meal. My new favorite place! The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. There is a huge variety of drinks and snacks on the menu and what I've had so far is delicious. I also like being able to choose the level of sweetness in my drink. During the pandemic my family and I still love coming here while social distancing. Today, It is pouring down rain and the employee saw us park and saw us trying to locate an umbrella to get out. He came out to the car with an umbrella and proceeded to take our order in our car to make sure we didn't have to get out and get wet! Ring the alarm! There is actually a legit bubble tea place outside of bellaire.Yeah, it's no Teahouse or Tapioca House, but it comes close. As the others have mentioned, I love the bright and bubbly decor--green walls and orange chairs. I ordered the regular cream tea with tapioca and my friend ordered a coffee. The tapioca was pretty good, no complaints :) The price was around 3 bucks what I got, which is pretty average. Another plus is that they don't have a minimum charge to use your credit card (I've encountered several other places that have this policy). They also have free wifi and adequate seating for long conversations or study sessions. The cashiers were friendly and had a smile on their faces. First time, one-hitta-quitta! Came here and came back and didn't look back, how 'bout that! Avocado never tasted so smoothly than when I guzzled it down, although reluctantly, but rewardingly. It was suggested by the clerk, who also said everything is good... & I won't argue. So far their BBQ pork sammich is decent and their milk tea is signature. It's even cool to chill inside. On my lunch break when I just need a change of scenery I can relax on the couch and watch something on the flat screen. Clean is how they keep it, but the one employee during busy times is the only drag, especially when you want to get-in and get-out. I really like this place! I've been here a few times and enjoy trying different teas. The bahn mi is decent, although a bit skimpy with the meat. I haven't tried other food items but I will. I also like that you can pick your level of sweetness in your drink. I've never encountered that option before and am happy with having the option here. I miss bubble tea in my home town of Atlanta. I really do. It's hard to find a good spot anymore, much less one with a variety of flavors. Figured in Texas it would be even more difficult to find, so when I spied this place while waiting to meet up with someone in the shopping center parking lot, I bolted for the door. Bubble tea? YES. What I found was an incredible number of flavors to choose from, though I kept to my love and went with Taro. Even better: The sugar levels can be adjusted to your liking! Knowing taro is often sweeter anyway, I asked for less sugar. It was made just right and had enough sweetness to be refreshing without giving you a sugar rush. Yum! For three bubble teas, it came to just over $12 including tax. That seems about right compared to other places, and that's because we added the boba. You can get every flavor without the boba and save yourself a little extra cash (but why would you leave behind the boba?!). read more
